I ordered the 4 in 1 jacket and it arrived within a couple of days. Sadly, it was a bit too small for me so I contacted the company to ask about their return policy. Debbie didn't just tell me how to return it, she arranged to meet me with items that I could try on to make sure I got something that would fit. On top of that, she gave me a shirt and cap (both high quality) to make up for my (nonexistent) inconvenience. I've never experienced that level of customer care with ANY company and I will certainly be giving them my business in the future. Thanks, Debbie!

I was so anxious to get it in hand that I asked Brad Young if he could get it to me overnight. With little time left in the day Brad went to work, packed it up and shipped it to me overnight air. 14 hours later I had my new gun out in the field busting clays. The level of service from Brad was simply excellent. He called me early letting me know that the gun was out for delivery. Elite has a nice selection of Kolar's in stock considering that they had the exact configuration that I wanted. They also beat the good price that another Kolar dealer had quoted me for the same gun. I've got a special something when I run into Brad at our next tournament. I highly recommend working with Brad Young and Elite San Antonio for any of your shotgun needs.

Here's why I ordered the SOLGW Frogskin…read more I wanted a solid 5.56 rifle I can actually train with and rely on, not just something to sit in the closet. I've had good experiences with SOLGW gear, so when they dropped the Frogskin edition, it grabbed my attention right away. Same SOLGW quality, just with a unique finish that actually looks good instead of being over the top. I'm actually driving from Austin down to San Antonio just to pick it up in person and check out the shop, because this is a rifle I plan on making my main one. The look is a bonus, but the main reason I bought it is the reputation: properly built, reliable, and meant to be shot. These are just my early thoughts based on the specs and what I know about SOLGW. Once I get it, zero it, and put some rounds through it, I'll come back and update this with how it shoots and holds up.

Unfortunately, orders I've placed directly through them for "In stock" items either never ship or are extremely delayed. I've placed orders direct three times. One of those was for an "in stock" lower that took close to a month to arrive at my local FFL (from San Antonio to Austin). I won't even begin on the poor quality of the finish on the lower. Oh, and don't write a negative review for anything on their site because they won't post it...FYI. Twice, I've cancelled other orders after almost a month of emailing and asking for an order status and 3 plus days go by before I'll get someone who tells me "order is ready, just waiting on shims, so you'll have it next week" and someone else who replies "we are doing our best to keep up with orders" but no status. How about some communication to the customer to say an item is missing from an "In stock" order or just email or call to say "sorry for the delay"...anything. But instead, no communication or attempts and after almost a month on my most recent order, so I cancelled and I will not return to SOLGW for anything. If customer service is this way just to get an item, imagine how poorly things will go if you have an actual issue or a return, etc. Really wish things had gone differently, but a hard pass on poor customer service so I'll stick with another brand.

They were rude, dismissive, and refused to call ATF for clarification -- I had to call myself and put the ATF agent on speaker so they could be corrected. Even after admitting their mistake, they refused to cover the reshipment cost and made me pay again. They clearly do not understand basic FFL transfer procedures and should not be handling firearms or transfers until properly trained.
