When I go to the Glendale Galleria, I don't expect to be this amazed this chocolate here is taking it to the next level. I was immediately greeted by the Ethel, M chocolate wall! So the first thing I did was try several flavors. I had to get two truffles and then I had to do the peanut butter with milk chocolate peanut butter, dark chocolate the one thing that you really have to try are the milkshakes they have a little conference from where you can sit here and enjoy your chocolate because I gotta tell you the specialty boxes if I bought one? 4 stars I haven't been to Ethel M since their grand opening a couple years ago. The store this Wednesday afternoon was pretty dead when I stopped by. I tried their milk chocolate sample and thought their chocolate was alright. After looking around the shop, I decided to just try their Chocolate Cappuccino ($7). Surprisingly, I thought the chocolate and cappuccino combo worked really well together. I've had mochas and other chocolate/coffee combos before that I was never crazy about, but I thought this was a satisfying cup. Service was 5/5 stars. read more

Catherine was already working when I walked in, and she immediately greeted me with a smile and asked if I needed anything else. She also told me which chocolates were on sale, which I appreciated. I was waiting outside instead of standing in front of the store, and she actually came outside to look for me and personally handed me my drink. That was really thoughtful customer service. I stopped by this chocolate place inside Glendale Galleria mall today to look for gifts to give for Christmas. When I walked inside, I was greeted right away and asked if I needed any help. I told them I was browsing for a gift and they asked if I know the person taste in chocolate. I told them I didn't so they give me a milk chocolate sample to try and I thought it was good. So the worker came and show me a box that contain the same one I tried. I thought the price was reasonable so I went with that one. I also saw they have some drinks here and the worker told me which one was her favorite. I was very happy with the customer service I received here today and my experience was amazing. You get a decent amount of chocolate for the price and the round box was super gourmet looking and presentable for a gift. Ordered chocolates on really short notice for a housewarming gift through door dash. They sent the chocolates with some samples , which were really delicious! I love me some Sees, who doesn't but gosh I've loved Ethel M for so many years now. I was first introduced to them on my flights home from Vegas with their small shop in the airport. That's when I learned of their local Vegas factory and on the rare occasions I'd drive or road trip through Vegas I'd be super excited to visit them. I've always loved the product and have always had my few select favorites but really I've never had a bad piece, they are all really tasty. When Ethel M popped up a few years back in the Glendale Galleria with a tiny mall cart, my heart skipped a beat- when they moved into a permanent spot I was delighted! I don't visit very often but when I'm in this mall I always treat myself to my favorite dark chocolate covered marshmallows on a stick. They are just as yummy here as they are at the factory and other store locations of theirs. Always fresh, and yummy! My other favorite was peanut butter and jelly which they no longer have but I surely hope makes a come back. Great customer service as per the usual. If you haven't had them before I highly recommend them. Like I said, I love Sees but I find Ethel M to be extra special because they aren't so abundant in the LA area so it makes them really feel like a special little treat. For Christmas I purchased a chocolate tasting through Groupon, it was $10 for a 30 minutes tasting. I think it was worth it. Located inside the Glendale Gallaria, plenty of parking and its free. Best to park on level 2, it pretty close to JC Penny. We got there about 20 minutes early and they were ready for us so we got started early. Our Chocolatier was very informative. We have attended one other tasting so were were already well versed as far as how chocolate is made but she was entertaining and encouraged questions throughout. Unlike thenother we attending we received 4 full pieces of chocolate to help with our knowledge. Everyone was good so when asked our faves it was tough to decide. Outside the entrance is a photo spot for selfies which was a nice touch. If you enjoy some good quality chocolate I recommend checking it out. My sister and I was at the Galleria to kill time at the mall on a Saturday in late July. We happened to recall there is an Ethel M store on 2nd floor not far from croc store. We were greeted nicely from 2 staff members. The wall has array of chocolates variety from candy bars to boxes of chocolates to individual candy. They also have sugar free chocolates too. The cashier explained they make the chocolates locally. She further mentioned that they offer a tasting room to taste chocolates with a price. Gege assisted us, allowed each of us to sample a chocolate and then explained what makes Ethel M Chocolates so unique. She told us about the tastings (for a very fair price of $7.50/person) that happen in the little side room. Honestly this girl got all of is excited about this company, their chocolates and we all plan to come back for a tasting. Just a really cool experience to happen upon. This was a first time visiting this place. Also, a first time doing a chocolate tasting. Done wine and whiskey tastings before, but chocolate? Interesting. My fiance told me about this and I thought it would be interesting along with tasty. It was indeed. Super disappointed I walked in with my kids today to get samples and as I tried to back out of the store with my stroller these ladies walked in. One of them started yelling at me to go around the store and not get in their way. The employee literally just stood there and stared.
