The owners are very nice! The chocolate is high-end and great quality. The price is very reasonable and priced right for such high quality chocolate. Zara, the store owner, she assisted us and was very bright and energetic. She helped us figure out what we wanted within our budget. We wanted to give gifts to coworkers and wanted something higher end than See's candy. Zara gave us so many complimentary chocolate to test and try out. I drove about an hour from the west side of LA to visit Melt Chocolate after hearing rave reviews, and it did not disappoint. I had heard great things about their Dubai Chocolate bar, and it was definitely worth the trip! The chocolates are incredibly rich and delectable, and the Middle Eastern imports they offer are absolutely exquisite. I picked up the popular Dubai Chocolate bar, along with a few other favorites for myself and my husband, and we were both beyond pleased with every bite. The service was exceptional-- Zara made me feel like a valued customer, and the experience was truly special. Melt is an absolute gem in every sense of the word...I drove over from OC and it was worth the trek. If you think you've tried "Dubai Chocolate" think again...I've tried many iterations of the Dubai Chocolate bar in SoCal and this place blows the others out of the water (Laderach...Charles Chocolates..Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory...and those found in the various independent bakeries/coffee shops in LA/OC). Aside from that, everything about this chocolatier exudes quality and high standards. The taste is rich and authentic, the variety and creativity unmatched (ask about their Chocolate sushi rolls!) and the customer service is five-star. George, the owner, did a deep dive into his offerings and I couldn't have been more impressed with his knowledge and hospitality. I have tried the famous Pistachio Knafeh chocolate in several places (6 times in 6 different chocolatier shops be exact) so I went to Melt Chocolate with somewhat of a discerning taste. The store is very clean and everything is beautifully presented. The lady who assisted me did so in such an excellent manner, and I was even given samples of some of the delicious chocolate pieces in the showcases, which made me very excited to get home and open up my Pistachio Knafeh bar. Oh my goodness!!! Melt Chocolate's version of the Pistachio Knafeh chocolate is absolutely divine! The piece has a good ratio of pistachio flavoring to the Knafeh, and the texture when I bite into the bar is perfect. I am a fan of this local spot, so no more driving to Orange County for my chocolate cravings. I look forward to visiting Melt Chocolate again soon. read more

I had such a good experience at melt chocolate I will definitely be back. I found this business while being on a quest for the viral Dubai chocolate bar, which has been my new favorite thing. The good reviews attracted me and I'm so glad I stopped by. The chocolate was so well crafted and crunchy. I definitely recommend purchasing the double stuffed bar ($30 pretty standard pricing for this chocolate), they had a thinner cheaper bar for $20 but I was feeling like splurging. Melt Chocolate in Glendale came through with a delicious version of this treat! The quality of ingredients is so good here - exceptional chocolate - not overly sweet and sugary, but a true chocolate taste. The pistachio-tahini-phyllo filling was so delicious and unique - crispy and nutty and creamy and so tantalizingly green. We had to round out our taste test with some other chocolates - pistachio, almond, and a delicious rose petal wafer, like the fanciest KitKat ever. So glad we found this little shop. My favorites are the matcha dark chocolate, and pistachio dark chocolate but there are other ones that are named something like "live for nuts", I can't remember exactly. There is a lot of variety. The dried fruit and nuts in the chocolate is all excellent. We tried the Lebanese chips as well, there were a lot of flavors. We got cheese and pizza and both are great.
