From the rich showcase, I went for the trio of Nutella milk chocolate, Irish cream truffle, and their signature Mignon dark chocolate truffle. I wouldn't say any of them were attention-stealers, but no harm trying when you're around. Prolly the Mignon one was the top pick if I had to choose among the 3, serving dark chocolate with dark chocolate ganache inside.

And I can tell they're most proud of that but what's popular right now they can't help but jump into. And I have to say they don't do half bad. Their pastries aren't the most intricate in design, nor do they have a lot of complicated flavors and layers of flavors in them. But I really like the temperature they were at when I was eating them. I've gone to places where you buy their pastries and they're frozen on the inside. Or the shells aren't giving that crunch that you're looking for. But this place I got a crunch out of every pastry I expected a crunch from. And the prices were reasonable! I spent about 50 bucks for five.I definitely will be coming back. My favorites in order: Cocoa bean : 8/10- this one has a chocolate whipped filling in it. It's not overly sweet., but there's a fudge or a chocolate sauce in the center that also has these malt crunch balls, which is a nice texture difference. On top of the exterior shell having a crunch it's really good. Piña colada: 8/10- this one is a very light white whip filled with pineapple inside of it. The pineapple taste like canned pineapples so it's got that sweet sauce taste to them. It's good.. I prefer they take that risk than trying to use fresh pineapple. The exterior shell is not hard so don't expect a crunch. The white whip inside taste like coconut cream whip so if you like ambrosia, you'll love this. Blueberry: 5.5/10: if you are not a sweet person, but like whipped cream.. I think you'll really like this one. It's not sweet at all and the taste of blueberry is very faint.. There is like a blueberry compote in the middle with tiny blueberries, which is really cute and the compote is good but again it also isn't sweet. This was the cheapest pastry. So if you just want to try the craze, but aren't a huge sweets person, this is perfect. Dubai pistachio- 5/10- it's OK. The best part is the Kahdafyi in the middle. It' seemed pre frozen, so expect it to be cold but thawed. I would've liked something with like maybe some chopped pistachio nuts in it or something.. Spicy mango: 5/10- it's OK. I love biting the shell that initial taste of Tajin on the lips. Delicious.. this one had one of the top crunches. The exterior has a perfect crunch. And the inside is OK there's tiny pieces of mango inside of it, but I wish like maybe the moose or the whip was mango and to be honest I wish there was like maybe some kind of crumble cake or something to go inside of this one I do like the tart of the Chamoy inside mixed with the mango. But it was just OK.

The Banana had a fresh banana purée-like filling that added a nice fruity flavor, while the Coffee Bean had a delicious mocha-like center. Beyond tasting amazing, both desserts were absolutely beautiful and almost too pretty to eat! My only wish is that they had a little bit of cake incorporated into them for some additional texture, but that certainly didn't stop me from enjoying them. They also have a great variety of cakes, cookies, macarons, éclairs, and croissants. Everything looked absolutely stunning and heavenly. I could easily spend way too much time here trying to decide what to take home! I also appreciated that the prices were very reasonable, and the staff was polite, welcoming, and helpful. The cinnamon & sugar mix is just right. It complements without overpowering. It's just a perfect sweet treat to help pep you up as you come to the back corner of the zoo. You can also add them to a sundae or get popcorn or other traditional park treats, but it's the churro that really shines here (hence it being in the name). You're really doing a disservice by not trying these things once. I will say, however, that the prices are kinda crazy. It's about $6.50 for a churro. Honestly, a churro should never cost more than a buck or two in my opinion. But, you're a captive audience in the zoo so of course you're going to pay a premium.
