Came here for lunch.. Friendly staff and nice clean restaurant. Ordered tuna belly salad and Greek salad as starter. Ordered frutti di mare and carbonara as main. Well I was bit disappointed that tuna belly salad was cooked.. I was expecting raw for some reason.. Tuna looked like canned tuna. But it tasted pretty good. Would have been so much better if it was raw or seared. The Greek salad was pretty good also. Well for being 13.50 euro for frutti di mare dish had huge portion of seafood. 2 large shrimp, 1 small langoustine, mussels, clams, and some scallops. Carbonara dish portion was also huge. Frutti di mare was pretty tasty, and slight creamy sauce. Carbonara was also pretty darn good. Very rich though.. Over all both dishes were pretty darn good. Ended with tarimissu and carrot cake. Tarimissu was pretty yummy and carrot cake was pretty good also. Oh yeah sangria was also good.. Over all pretty yummy place.. I would come back here.

Estruch continues to be a go to favorite for us in Barcelona. We must have lunched here a dozen times over the past three years. On various vacations and business trips. The service is impeccable but casual and familiar. You feel very much like family member. Our favorite servers are quite humorous individuals. especially the gent who calls himself James Bond. The food here is solid, great burgers, great, thin crust, pizza, fantastic Greek salad, fantastic tapas, and Monte Dios, and this is all with the background of the cathedral of Barcelona, right across the plaza from you. So you're not only get the benefit of great service and great food, but you get the great atmosphere of being in the plaza of the cathedral to Barcelona. And it's all overseen by "Himself" who runs a tight operation. It's stunning and a solid option. Don't take up an outdoor table if you're only there to have a drink. A couple of times we just stopped by for a quick glass of wine or a vermouth. Sit at the bar inside for that. The outdoor tables are really best for those who are there to enjoy a meal. Highly recommended for lunch if you're having a day out in Barcelona.

Wow! Such a great random find! The burrata was excellent! Burger was out of this world! I usually need a sauce for my keto burgers but this burger was absolutely delicious! No sauce needed! Garlic shrimp was delicious and the carpaccio was great; just ask for no "old mustard" if you are keto/sugar free. I didn't realize the old mustard was honey mustard. I'll be back!

I got churros and hot chocolate. The chocolate was super rich, hot, and thick. The churros were crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. I do with I got a drink with it. My parents got some chocolate croissants and coffee, while my brother got a ham sandwich. The food was good, but it was a bit pricey.

On a busy pre-Christmas day like today, you know this place was packed! It was almost too packed that I didn't think I'd get a table, much less have a positive experience. However, this place deserves 5 stars, because not only was the food delicious, but the staff tended to me as if I was the only person in there. I ordered off of the daily menu, which included a starter, a drink, a main, bread, and dessert, all for a reasonable price. I started with a creamy cheesy risotto with two crispy pieces of bacon in the middle. I was surprised by how big the plate was and very satisfied by how delicious it was. The main was a roasted chicken with potatoes and herbs. The skin was crispy and succulent, and the meat was moist. The chicken and potatoes it was served on were well seasoned and were even more flavorful when swirled around in its juices and herbs. I finished the meal with an espresso and crema catalana which is similar to a creme brûlée. It was so good I was tempted to lick the dish. What a wonderful lunch experience!

Food was actually really good! The service was also decent. Sitting inside was kind of weird but it was alright.

    Mini burger with foie

Stopped in because our feet were tired and it was lunchtime. Pleasantly surprised - everything we ordered was really really good. Patatas bravas were perfect. Mini hamburger with foie gras on top - perfect, delicious, onions caramelized to perfection, delicious bun, only 5,9 Euros. Steak tacos (well that's what the menu said but we were given a pile of steak chunks with fries) was delicious, well-seasoned, tender. Finally junbo garlic prawns : served in an iron crock swimming in butter with fresh herbs, just great. Add a lovely tempranillo and you get another fantastic Barcelona meal.

Given that this place is directly across from the large cathedral and is right in the center of a tourist area that sees a lot of foot traffic, I knew what I was walking into. I knew I had to play it safe and order the basic things that are hard to mess up. I know! I know! I'm in Barcelona how can I get a burger? Playing it safe remember, also I was tired and starving and they were right there. On to the food. I started with a Bomba, which is essentially a potato ball with a meat filling, typically ground beef. The boba was good but unfortunately a bit dry despite being covered in sauce. I also got some Manchego with a side of jam, it was delicious, you can't go wrong with good cheese in Europe. For my entree I went with a burger, it was good and juicy, I figured it would be difficult to mess up a burger and I was right. As a side I got papa bravas which are a must in Barcelona! Papa bravas are essentially potatoes smothered in a special sauce. For a drink I got a clara of course- Estrella beer and lemonade! The establishment itself looks pretty clean with that being said it feels cold. No warmth and thus I expected the food would not be so good. I feel I made some good choices and played it safe and thats why I am giving a 4 star review rather than a 3 star review.

This was recommended by friends awhile back, I remembered the modern ambiance, amazing Tapas, friendly service and the place was as busy then until now. For this big restaurant caliber, it's pretty crowded yet they do a good job with a fast turnaround. We did the early Dinner and by the time we got out there was already a long line for late Diners. The fact that even after a decade, it's rare that I go back to the same spot let alone they're still around after all these years. You already know that tells a lot and I feel bad for those who didn't have the same great experience, hope they give it another shot. See y'all soon! Salut, Vermouth!

My son had been here last year and thought, it was a solid. We put our name in, went to a nearby park bench to wait and watch people for 50 minutes. The servers outside are grumpy as to many people are crowding the sidewalk and impeding his service. Finally, our name was called, were seated at the bar, and watched a chef make the magic dishes. The menu is huge and I can't help but watch the delicious dishes flying by us. So little time and yet so many great choices, this won't be easy. We began with the beef tenderloin montadito foie gras. It was presented as a open face sandwich on a bagette. We split it as it had a huge piece of foie gras. The tenderloin was tough and the tapas tasted like indivdual components, not a blended or refined profile. The grilled razor clams were nicely cooked, slightly gritty and needed to be washed more thoroughly. The Spanish omelet wedge was spiritual, dish of the night award. The onion made the dish! The sliced fried artichoke was finely shaved, and again lacked a enjoyable flavor that I would order again. The chips with fried eggs and Jabugo ham was different, tasty and a concept I would not of thought about. Delicious! Casveseria Catalanahe was packed and stacked for a reason. A high vibe and energy even in the face of a revolt at the check in desk from hungry dinners. I came say without hesitation, we will give them a second try. The staff was friendly, engaging, warm and a good sense of humor, nothing but smiles. I can't wait for our next trip to Cerveseria Catalana and let them tell me what to order. Good luck and see you sooner than later.

While all of the food was great, for me the codfish was hands-down the star of the show and probably one of the best dishes that I ate on the trip. The flavor of the sauce combined with the texture of the fish actually blew me away, and I can see why my server highly recommended this to me.
