The removal and replacement of the piston was wisely planned in advance and the part pre-ordered for custom manufacture. Colley's technicians neatly mustered their tools and materials, protected the carpeting, safely blocked the work area, and gave a progress report. The elevator inspection was also wisely planned. Fortunately, there were no problems with the pit or the piston hole, and this could only be verified once the crew was down there and extracting the old piston in sections. I'm a property manager and have worked with hundreds of vendors and their service is absolutely terrible. Mechanics don't show up the same day even when you authorize overtime.
