We ordered two chai tea lattes and a hot chocolate. Prior to ordering I was asking the young lady (I believer her name is Maria) if it was made in house or if it were from a packet. She gave me a dirty perplexed look and asked "what!?". I repeated the question and she rudely answered now. I thought it was a fair question. This isn't why the low stars though. The low stars is due to them having three registers going screaming "next" as the pile of people that already ordered were piling up on each other plus strollers and they kept taking orders while one young lady was making the coffees, teas and smoothies. I felt awful for her. There was an employee young man standing there doing nothing but screaming "next" as well. I felt so bad for the young lady trying to keep up with all of the orders. If you are the owner reading this, please train your team to stop taking orders on two of the three registers for a minute and help clean the line out of orders by helping. Besides for marketing purposes, we all know a line to your place makes people crave your place even more. Hope you are able to train on attitude, organization, and empathy for another human being that is on the team. I will say the chai tea was made well.

It's been fun to watch Cozy Corner develop into a valued community resource and destination over…read morethe past 2 years. The management takes a noticeable interest in locally based activities and has frequently welcomed both one-off and longer term initiatives ranging from a larger group hangout to specialized activity and beyond. If it's busy, it can sometimes seem too crowded in here with noise and flow of people. But the busy state is also a reflection of its success and popularity! I only order food here once in a while, but have found it to be consistently fresh and made to order. Interestingly, other local coffee shops have now matched (or surpassed) Cozy's coffee prices that seemed expensive and high end when they first arrived. The seating and welcome to linger approach is appreciated.
