Review #1 Shawn and…read moreMatt are pleasant to work with. I trust those guys and would have them over for dinner and trust them with the keys to "My Castle". Shawn did this Master Shower a little over a year ago. Please forgive me for writing this review late. But, every time I look at our shower, our tile and our floor; I fall in love with Shawn's craftsmanship all Over again. Shawn is very meticulous to details, especially with perspective and his cuts. Like a true expert and perfectionist. Shawn encouraged us to buy our materials at Floor n Decor (which we did). I encourage anybody looking at tile or flooring to do that. What I also love about Shawn and his work is he doesn't lie or BS. He actually isn't afraid to share bad news if he sees it, which I like. Better than finding an issue years down the road because the contractor didn't pay attention. Also, Shawn doesn't "over promise" and miss deadlines and under-deliver. He communicates very precisely throughout the whole job. If something takes longer? He has no problem telling you. If he's able to get it done earlier? That's his preferred method; and he often beats his own timelines and deadlines. Shawn and Matt show up early, ready to work and they actually work HARD. I finally found my tile guy(s). I will upload photos of my guest bathroom they did as well. Make Castle Tile your preferred Tile Contractor, you won't be disappointed!

Shawn is, without question, the best construction‑related contractor I've ever worked with. From…read morestart to finish, he was prompt, courteous, and meticulous -- always keeping his work area exceptionally clean. His quote was very fair compared to other licensed tile contractors, especially in a market full of fly‑by‑night operators. I wasn't looking to negotiate price, but I did ask for a few concessions, and he was completely reasonable and accommodating. He was also fair with the extras I added after the job began, which is rare in this industry. The quality of his workmanship is the best I've seen in California -- and that's coming from someone who grew up around masons and tile experts on the East Coast. His precision, layout planning, and attention to detail are truly top‑tier. On top of that, I was in a tight situation with my mother moving in and needed the project completed quickly. Shawn stepped up without hesitation, working weekends and extra hours during the week to finish ahead of schedule. The entire bathroom was completed just 12 days after demolition started. I highly recommend Shawn. If you want craftsmanship, professionalism, and integrity, he's the one to hire.

If you are looking for a reliable and honest company for countertops, look no further. Imagine Marble & Rafael were professional, punctual, and perfectionists, just like me. We were hesitant about moving forward with the EBB seismic retrofit at first, but after meeting Luis, we felt much more comfortable with the process. He was professional, knowledgeable, straightforward, and very reasonable compared to the other contractors we spoke with. He completed all of the work carefully, cleanly, and the right way without cutting corners. What impressed us most, though, was how he handled the issues we had with the EBB reimbursement process. Once the work was completed, he could have easily taken his payment and moved on, but he didn't. He stayed involved, helped us through every step, and made sure everything was handled properly so that we ultimately received our reimbursement. That kind of honesty and follow-through is hard to find. Luis truly cares about his work and his customers. If you're considering an EBB retrofit or just working with Urias Contracting Inc., don't hesitate. A+++ experience and highly recommended!

My experience matches nothing like these people have written. Julio misrepresented himself as a…read moregeneral contractor when he only has a painting license. He showed up to the job whenever he wanted to, many days not showing up at all. He kept all the tools and supplies I purchased, and I am certain that I was buying materials and supplies for many other jobs he had going on. I have the receipts for up to thousands of dollars he did this on. He also attached his phone number to my home depot account so that he was rewarded w/ all of the dollars that I spent. I removed him from my account and then he went ahead and re-added himself to it!! Every item he worked on had to be redone at least 2x. Either he is totally inept or this was a scam so that he could continue billing because he did bill again for all of his mistakes. At this time, I have a significant issue due to the electrician he forced me to use and he won't even return my call. I would use ANYONE ELSE other than Julio. He and his crew always showed up on time and worked extremely hard to get the job done within the timeframe I requested. One day they worked from 7am to 6pm. He's very flexible in his services: I picked my own paint brand (BM), and used total 7 colors 3 different finishes. Other painters I talked with either heavily market the paint brand they get most rebates (DE) or charge extras for more colors. And most importantly the work comes out great. They took off all wall light features and outlets plates before painting and installed them back afterwards; mask taped all base boards and window/door frames, they even brought vacuum with them to clean our carpet after the job. After the job was finished, I also decided to give a handyman job to him. He installed 8 curtain rods and 5 ceiling light features just in half day. And he even offer a very discounted rate to me for the handyman services I got. So five stars, no doubt!
