We were running a bit late but arrived at 845pm right before the dinner rush. I do not believe they take reservations so arriving no later than 845pm is ideal. Amazing tapas with some sangria? Yessssssss! Eslava was our favorite tapas spot on our trip to Seville. Each dish was unique and just absolutely wonderful. They have won various awards for their tapas and I can see why! The pork cheeks and the ribs were so tender. The meat fell right off the bones and had a delicious sweet honey glaze. I was a bit turned off by the interior of the cuttlefish cigar as it resembles a real cigar. It tasted okay and is definitely a very unique tapas item! We were not sure what to expect with the boletus tapa but it was a pleasant surprise! Light and tasty, this dish had the perfect balance of mushroom flavor mixed with some runny egg.

When I went on a Sunday, this place was crazy busy especially just prior to their 5pm closing time! There were people sitting on the curb/leaning on the wall, drinking wine, just waiting to get in. Overall, I found the food a bit too sweet for my liking. The egg yolk dish sat on top of this cake that was sweet. And the "cigar" was stuffed with a sweet, cream cheese. Again, unexpected and too sweet especially since I was expecting something savoury. Pork cheek, also in a slightly sweet whisky sauce, was cooked tenderly as with the octopus. Food was good, but not great/amazing/"can't wait to come back!". Presentation was on point! Tip: If you like savoury more, perhaps it's best to stick with the meat dishes. However, I must say that the service was IMPECCABLE! Despite the busy-ness, all the staff seemed extremely patient and kind. Our server in particular was very helpful with his suggestions. Out of all the dishes that were ordered, the shining stars were the DESSERTS. So if you have a sweet tooth, that is not to be missed! Most of the staff did also speak English, so that helped to bring in the tourists. Menu was also in English. I found service/desserts were better than the mains. read more

Solid place to get tapas and it's relatively affordable (especially since you're getting very creative tapas made with high quality ingredients). I got 3 tapas, a beer, and a wine for about 13 Euros. Most tapas ran about 3 Euros or so. I must have accidentally timed it right as there was no line when I arrived (the inside was bustling with customers though). Yes, try the cigarro tapas (cuttlefish) - it's the one that's cigar shaped and even dusted with realistic looking ash. It's unique, makes for an interesting photo, and tastes good to boot. The slow cooked egg was OK - it was pretty, but the taste didn't stand out for me. I would still recommend ordering it just to try it. Lastly, I got the ribs - it was tasty and held a nice glaze, but I did feel the meat was slightly tough. Presentation was excellent on all dishes - it was fancy without the fancy prices. Overall, Eslava is a great place to get tapas - the quality is there and the price is cheap for what you're getting. You'd pay the same amount at your run of the mill tapas places. read more

Absolutely the best meals I've had!!!! I stayed in Seville for a week and this restaurant was recommended to me by a couple I met on a hiking tour in Portugal. I went there almost every evening. If you get there by 6:30-7 pm you might get a seat but after 7:30 pm the rush starts and it gets so busy that you have to wait to get a table or even a spot at the bar, which I enjoyed occupying as it was such a happening place. I have tried bunch of different tapas some of them are in the menu and some are written on the blackboard on the wall, I will add photos with the names of dishes so readers can see what is what. The staff is great! Friendly warm and efficient! It gets really busy but they make sure you are taken care of and happy! There is an outside patio as well but it opens only at 8 pm and there are no reservations for it, so if you want to get a spot there, make sure you arrive early and wait for it while sipping tinto de verano at the bar. If you are in Seville, DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE! It is truly the best. It is located off the main downtown area so you might miss it if you are just walking around, only locals or prepared tourists land there. read more

Eslava is said to be one of the most popular tapas bars in Seville and it certainly looked the part with big crowds the couple times we walked by so get here close to opening or be prepared to wait. We got here right at opening for lunch (1pm) and got a table in back. There's also a tight bar area up front and a handful of outdoor tables on the sidewalk. Menu is on a chalkboard in Spanish only so bring your dictionary (our waiter's English was not the best). Food here is solid. My favorite was the vegetable strudel in puff pastry (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/2xl2uS8t7WFZU5ZuRMh6HA?select=132vsknavEyUgcZcdgiq3w). It tasted much better than it looked ;-) The ceviche (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/2xl2uS8t7WFZU5ZuRMh6HA?select=Eab6TTQnZAxvuhkK_M5eKw) had a bit too much salsa vs. fish. Service is crisp and polite with waiters in jackets. Would probably have come again except that Casa Paco (http://www.yelp.com/biz/casa-paco-seville#hrid:KkStxCk2nnHtGVdq1IrIvg) was just a few blocks away and easier to get a table ;-) read more

Delicious and really well priced! My friends and I were on a post-grad, low budget Eurotrip and we stumbled across Eslava online. The food was delicious. We ordered a bunch of things on the menu, but what stuck out to me was the seafood cigarette--it looks weird, but it's has deep flavors and is really delicious, the slow-cooked pork ribs, and the polenta cake with a soft boiled egg. This restaurant was one of the highlights of Seville. We ate outside and enjoyed the ambience of the city. The only thing is that chairs are pretty limited so we had to stand, but definitely recommend Eslava, probably even over Azotea because the prices are much more reasonable if you're on a budget. read more

Touted as one of the, if not the best tapas bar in Seville, Eslava had some high expectations to live up to, and I'd say it more or less did. Based on random people, our AirBnb host and the site you are currently viewing, it was a must try. So we tried it! The long and short of it: 1. Slow Cooked Egg. The tapas dish that has apparently won many awards (I would greatly like to judge a tapas competition). I still say it is a must order based on this, but the dish itself, with all it's hype and revelry, was fine. Its presentation is fun and its pretty good, just nothing earth shattering. 2. All the other foods. Everything we had was delicious, with a special shout-out to the razor clams. There's plenty of variety on the menu with a few vegetarian options and some things we had never tried. The portions are large for tapas so come hungry (with the wait, maybe come almost hungry). 3. Wait. Eslava operates a full restaurant and a tapas bar (with sidewalk seating) but it is very, very popular so there will be a wait to get into either. We waited about an hour for a table and the line behind us kept getting longer. No worries though, they're happy to pour you a drink while you wait so grab one and meet your new line neighbors for the next bit! 4. Bar. Plenty of wine, bubbles and liquor. Not a great beer selection which is fine, wine goes better with tapas anyway. Nothing amazing but a nice compliment to a tapas feast! 5. Price. A bit expensive but nothing outlandish. 5 tapas and a few drinks ran us around $60 USD and we were both full and happy. Eslava was worth the wait, and we will be back on our next Seville trip. There is no shortage of great tapas bars in Seville, but it stands out among the crowd. Glad we got the chance to try it! Overall Grade: B+ read more

Eslava - Tapas Bars Near Me - Seville, SE

I gotta go against the grain and give Eslava 3 Stars. Sadly, I think their popularity just really diminishes the experience. If you want a reservation at the sit down restaurant, book at least 3 days in advance. The tapas bar opens earlier than the restaurant. I got there at about 815 and the place was fully packed and we were 9 on the waitlist. We grabbed a glass of wine and ended up making friends with some other Bay Area peeps. We ended up dining with our new friends about 30 min later. We split a ton of items, almost all served cold. The tapas are a much broader selection than you'll find at typical bars, which makes dining here a nice and different experience. However, they were already out of most of the seafood items by 9/930. I'm not gonna go into what we ordered as really nothing stood out. It wasn't bad, but nothing was great. The beef tataki was a standout. It didn't help that it was a chilly evening and we were seated outside freezing our asses off. Overall, I'm sure Eslava is much better enjoyed in beautiful weather and food served at the temp it's supposed to be. Sadly, both conditions were not in the cards. I did enjoy my meal at Brunhilda a lot more. read more

Exceptional tapas and wine. We asked our bartender (who spoke perfect English) Alejendro, what to order and he told us to order the Cigar of squid and brie, which was very innovative and delicious; the roasted pork rib with honey and rosemary, which was succulent and tender; the slow cooked egg on a sweet mushroom cake (very beautiful and delicious); and finally the green pepper stuffed with Hake, which was served on a potato gallete with a delicious, creamy cheese sauce. We loved everything we ordered! read more

Amazing food- the octopus was amongst the highlights. Totally worth the wait. Would go back again.

I felt fortunate to have gotten a table at this place given how busy it gets. I felt unfortunate that I didn't have a bigger appetite to try more of the dishes. Some of the dishes I tried were the pork cheeks which were delicious. The slow cooked egg, which was recommended. The presentation was great, but the dish itself was just ok. The cigarro, which is cuttlefish shaped into a cigar was tasty. The place is very lively and the service was great. It does get busy, so expect a wait. read more

Must try! This place is probably the only restaurant that was crowded during early dinner, around 7pm, and I can see why. The service is impeccable, the food is extraordinary, and best of all the dishes are all around 4€! We tried a lot of dishes but our favorites were beef tataki, the pork cheek (which is a must while in Seville) and the manchengo ice cream! The pork cheeks and manchengo ice cream are probably something I would have never tried elsewhere, so I'm very happy we had it here because the taste is so amazing. read more

I just recently returned (i'm talking on Sunday) from an amazing trip to the Andalusia coast of Spain + Mallorca. This region of Spain has some of the most breathtaking views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains with interspersed villages beautifully located along the winding roads. While visiting this region of Spain, we had so many amazing meals that it honestly is very hard to pick a favorite. Some restaurants had amazing views and ambiance, some had ambiance plus delicious tapas, and some not so much. Fortunately, the bad meals were few and far between and usually because we just stopped in for a quick bite while touring a local monument. I hate how in large tourist areas, it seems like a lot of the terrible restaurants are right beside the tourist spot. Wouldn't it be nice if you could have an amazing meal AND see the local attraction at the same time?! Anywho, this post is about one of the wonderful restaurants that we had the pleasure to dine at while visiting Sevilla! When you first walk into Eslava, expect to see a crowded tapas bar with a great atmosphere. Ask one of the servers to recommend you a class of Vino Tinto to start (Spanish wines are delicous!). When you get you glass of wine, you will also be served some homemade sourdough bread and some fresh aceitunas (olives) that are mixed with fava beans - you MUST try these! They are so yummy!). Aslo, don't forget to request some aceite de oliva (olive oil) with some sea salt. I think Spain could give Italy a run for their money on olive oil - it was literally the best! The olive oil is the best when it is produced on a local Finca (or hacienda or plantation). We bought some to bring home from a local Finca that you can actually stay at in Mallorca, called Cas X'orc (another post for another time). TAPAS TO TRY: TATAKI DE BUEY CON GOMINOLA DE JENGIBRE: Beef tataki with ginger - These thin strips of beef topped with sea salt and drizzled with olive oil will leave your mouth watering for more! We actually ordered two plates of these. As you can tell, it is not a huge portion but the flavor is outstanding. There are dollops of ginger sauce on the plate that enhance the flavors of the beef. CROQUETAS CASERAS DE CERDO Y TERNERA: Pork and beef homemade croquettes (bechamel-filled, breaded and deep-fried) - I must say that I thought that I would absolutely love the croquettes in Spain since it is definitely a staple tapas at most Spanish restaurants. While the croquettes were definitely delicious, they were not my favorite of all the tapas that I sampled. That being said, you still must try them! YEMA SOBRE BIZCOCHO DE BOLETUS Y VINO CARAMELIZADO: Slow-cooked egg served on boletus cake with caramelized wine reduction (1st Prize, Sevilla en Boca de Todos 2010 contest) - This one is very interesting and worth a taste! UN CIGARRO PARA BECQUER (3º PREMIO SEVILLA EN BOCA DE TODOS 2013): A cigar for Becquer. Brick pastry cigar-shaped with cuttlefish and algae) - The texture on this definitely different but the flavor was surprisingly good! COSTILLA DE CERDO CON MIEL DE ROMERO AL HORNO: Roasted pork ribs glazed in rosemary honey - MUST get these!! These are like a Korean BBQ style short rib with incredible flavor!! You can find it at thatblondetravels.com/that-blonde-travels/... or follow me on instagram @thatblondetravels. read more

Eslava was my favorite restaurant when I visited Sevilla. I went to some other higher-end tapas restaurants in the city, but the flavors and prices at Eslava were the best. I was worried I wasn't going to be able to get a table based on other reviews, but I went at 7.30 and there were a few tables open. I snagged a seat at the nearly-empty bar since I was flying solo. By 8, however, there was a waitlist, so I arrived at the perfect time. If you're a shellfish fan, try the razor clams. They were cooked simply (and perfectly) so their natural flavor shines. The slow cooker egg over boletus cake was probably my least favorite dish I ordered, but it was still good. Definitely try the cuttlefish "cigar." read more

Excellent restaurant. Best place we've been in all of Spain (including Madrid and Granada). The seafood cigar was the best thing I had and I don't even like seafood. The pork tenderloin with cheese sauce and the manchego cheese ice cream were also both excellent. Our bartender/server was friendly and attentive and made good recommendations. Intimate atmosphere. All around great experience. If we ever make it back to Seville, we will definitely be coming back. read more

Incredible. That's all you need to know. I honestly don't understand how the prices are so low here for such amazing and inventive tapas. I was really excited to try Eslava after reading about the food, but my expectations were somehow exceeded. The famous slow cooked egg yolk over cake is an absolute must. If there was ever a must-try dish, this is it. It might be the best tapa I had during my entire trip throughout Spain. Nothing is more satisfying than splitting open that egg yolk and letting it drip all over the cake. Mixed together with the delicious mushroom cream sauce and Pedro Ximenez sweet wine reduction, my taste buds experienced pure bliss. Their other award winning tapa, the crispy phyllo wrap filled with cuttlefish and algae, is also delicious. It's great if you like seafood, and the cream sauce is perfect for dipping. Other standouts were the alcachofas/artichokes and stewed pork cheeks. The artichokes had such a good smokey flavor and was amazing with the cod, crispy garlic chips, and olive oil. While pork cheeks are found everywhere in Seville, there's are still absolutely moist, tender, and delicious. Plus, the potato slices underneath the pork cheeks are perfect for soaking up the meat juices and are a little crispy, too. The solomillo with cabrales cheese sauce tasted so good because of that intense, funky cheese flavor, but the meat was only ordinary and a little chewy. And the ribs are definitely tasty, but it seems like you can get more interesting dishes here. But pretty much everything here is perfectly executed and amazing. It makes zero sense how their tapas are all under 3 euros despite the level of flavor and creativity. Eslava is definitely my favorite restaurant in all of Spain for its incredibly inventive, unique, and cheap tapas. That egg yolk over cake might be the best tapa in all of Spain. read more

Eslava Tapas Bar, not to be mistaken with the restaurant where you need a reservation and has a separate menu ---is to die for! It should be everyone's list to visit when in Seville. The minute you walk in, the servers are greet you with a smile even thought they are shuffling tapas from table to table. If you arrive any later than 8:30-9pm expect to wait. Get your name down on their list and order your drinks! Once you're settled in, take a look at their menu that is written on the wall! Prices range from €2 and up. You can't go wrong with any of the items. They are all unique in their own way and very good. If you are traveling around Spain, I suggest you treat this place as a tapas buffet. This place exceeded all my expectations. It was my favorite restaurant in my 10-day trip to Spain. How is it possible to have such low prices but serve such mouth-watering tapas? Not only are the tapas delicious, they have nice presentations as well. We got lucky and got a table inside for the four of us after a small wait on a random weeknight. They have so many must try tapas on the list: The "cigar" filled with cuttle and algae came with a cream dipping sauce. It is such a creative and delicious tapa. It is not mean't for sharing. The pork ribs were to die for. We may have ordered thirds after how much we liked it. It comes with 3 ribs and has a rosemary honey glaze. I still dream about it. The artichoke was another favorite. Sprinkled on top was flakes cod and roasted garlic pieces. The flavors melded so well together. I'll talk about one more tapa so I don't start drooling. The pork cheek was moist and tender. I have never had pork meat so tender. To top off the delicious tapas, the service was exceptional. In the middle of the meal, we accidentally knocked over a glass of water. The waitress came over and moved everything on the table and replaced the table paper with a brand new one. Of the times I have ever spilled a drink, I have never had anyone do that! If you come to Seville, this is a MUST TRY restaurant. You will regret it if you don't! read more

This place was incredible! We are here two days in a row because we couldn't believe the level and presentation and the quality of the dishes for the price. It's a casual little place, yet vibrant and energetic. We ate at the bar on our first visit and then at a table the next visit. Despite being more cramped at the bar, I enjoyed the energy more there. We read the Yelp reviews and decided we needed to try it; it did not disappoint. It's a bit off the beaten path (we used the hop on hop off bus and exited at stop 12; and then an easy walk to the restaurant. It didn't stand out as it was the only restaurant on that block. We asked for a table inside and waited a few minutes to be seated. We were on the early side - around 5 pm so it wasn't too busy. We all ordered sangrias which were delicious. The friendly wait staff recommended their popular tapas - the cigarillo and the egg yolk and mushroom. Both were excellent. Our oldest sons thoroughly enjoyed the honey ribs. Based on Yelp reviews, we saved room for dessert and there were so many good choices we each ordered four desserts- the tiramisu, the chocolate cake with orange sorbet, orange pie and pineapple carpaccio and coconut sorbet. They were all good and you cannot go wrong. The most interesting was the carpaccio pineapple but most of us agreed the chocolate cake was our favorite. We had such a lovely and memorable experience there after a long day of traveling and touring. We would definitely recommend and look forward to coming back read more

Eslava. My first Seville dinner. Is this place Michelin star or what? They made some fancy presentations with their egg yolk plate, white asparagus, and cigar shaped tapas. Their ribs are succulent and sweet. Comes with 3. Their pork cheek was tender and had a hint of curry. The ones that made it lose a star was their mackerel and their pork shoulder. The mackerel was salty and their pork shoulder was doused in sauce. The egg yolk dish was a sweet and salty goodness, the cigar had amazing taste and texture, and the white asparagus has an amazing aroma! Make sure you get those and the ribs! read more

Thanks to Yelp, we found Eslava our very first night in Seville and Spain, after a very long trip from the US. It was the perfect antidote. the best tapas I've ever had !! the first bite into each tapa was AMAZING, & such great flavors! MUST ORDER: slow cooked egg (yema sobre bizcocho de boletus) - SO DELICIOUS, I can't even describe pork ribs with rosemary honey glaze (costilla de cerdo) - SO DELICIOUS ALSO, meat was cooked perfectly & not overly sweet at all also tried & really liked: - zucchini charlotte (chariota de calabacin) - un cigarro para becquer (with cuttlefish &algae) wow this had so much flavor, a bit overpowering - vegetable strudel - foie gras with hazelnut bread & almond jelly Each tapa was 2.90 euros, and we each ate 3 tapas - such a great price for such great quality :O Their sangria was also delicious! We ordered 2 pitchers between 4 people (I think it was 10 euros/ pitcher) This place is very popular and there is almost always a wait. Service is good & friendly. Eslava. Oh, Eslava. Where do I even begin? By far the best two meals we had during our 8 day stay in Sevilla (and we ate tapas EVERYWHERE). Yes, we came back twice, including our last night because it is that wonderful and memorable of a place. Both times we got there around opening time for dinner, which I super super recommend because by around 9:15pm the place gets packed. Both times we sat outside at one of the tables facing the street - perfect for people watching and enjoying the warm summer breeze. The inside is cozy and littered with small tables in the back and bar seating/standing in the front. Folks, their tapas got voted the best in the city - this isn't a joke or some gimmick. It's really phenomenal tapas, and all for ridiculously reasonable prices (£2-3 each). I would pay twice as much for the same tapas. Our favorites (in no particular order because you can't rank food this divine): -- Stewed pork cheeks: divine. so tender and melt-in-your-mouth heavenly. I can't believe I hadn't tried pork cheeks before, but I'm pretty sure after this dish all other cheeks will pale in comparison -- Roasted pork ribs with rosemary honey glaze: again, another 10/10 meat dish. The sauce is sweet but not overly sweet, perfectly balancing the saltiness of the ribs. -- A Cigarette of Squid: first of all, extremely innovative and delightful presentation. Please order this. It'll blow you away. -- Slow cooked egg: this won first place. a true masterpiece and unusual tapas. It's a perfectly smooth egg yolk on a mushroom cake. Runner ups: -- Roasted mackerel: mackerel was cooked perfectly, seasoned well, and served with a refreshing salad -- Deep fried anchovies: fried very well. Couldn't enjoy as much because well when you eat the tapas describe above you get the point... -- Tenderloin with dill sauce: tender and moist in a lovely dill sauce Don't forget to order drinks. We enjoyed many, many glasses of rioja that come with a nice plate of olives. We managed to save room for dessert on our 2nd visit (some kind of miracle) and tried the sokoa (traditional north Spain dessert) which was a tasty cake with a lot of cream, lol. Service was exceptional both nights. Overall, PLEASE for the love of god don't leave Sevilla without eating here. I'm begging you. Then smuggle back some of their tapas for me please. TL;DR version: Go to Eslava. Try the pork cheeks, ribs in honey sauce, squid cigarette, egg. Drink lots of wine. Repeat. read more

Backpacking through Southern Spain. And on the way back from taking pics of street art along the Guadalquivir river, on a recommendation of friend stopped by Eslava during "siesta" which didn't matter it was still packed. It's quite easy to spot Eslava as it shines like a beacon on this particular street with massive crowds hanging about and laughing away through the night. No reservation for tapas so we had to wait awhile before getting some open seating. Tried the following tapas - stewed pork cheeks, squid ink cigar, razor clams, pimiento-merluza (pepper stuffed with hake), poached egg with mushroom cake, and salmorejo. Hands down the best meal we had in Spain, better than any meal we had in Barcelona as well. Being from New York, I would say that it takes a lot to impress me and Eslava was definitely memorable. It is the first restaurant I recommend to any of my friends who asked how my Spain trip was. The wait is inevitable, but I can assure you it is well worth it. We showed up at around 8:30 and waited for about 45 minutes. I would recommend getting here by 7:30 if you don't want to wait. Even though the space is cramped, the staff was really nice while we waited for our table. Prepare for the bar to be packed, they may stick you in random chairs with no tables while you drink your beer and watch the waiters dance around you in a bustling rhythm. the sangria is DELICIOUS!!!! You didn't even taste the alcohol. Once you sit down, your food comes out pretty fast. Every dish was good, but my favorite was definitely the cigar (cuttlefish with black ink) (Cigarro para Becque). The flavors and textures worked really well together. My boyfriend's favorite were the pork cheeks (carrillada de cerdo guisadas), they were fall apart tender. The honey glazed pork ribs were also very flavorful (cristal de miel de costilla de cerd). The scallops (Tapa de Vieira) were good too, though it is just two small pieces so make sure you get an order each and eat it right away. The slow cooked egg (tapa concurso) seemed like a dish everyone ordered, it was good as well. The hake stuffed in peppers (pimiento-merluza) was a little disappointing, I would skip that one. The best part of this whole experience was that the tapas here are SO AFFORDABLE!! Everything was essentially around 2.80 euros. Our whole meal, and we ate a lot, only came out to 23.70 (see receipt). This meal would have costed us a fortune in New York! Or anywhere else, really. Eat here, and eat up - because there will not be another meal with such high quality of food for a ridiculous good price for the remainder of your trip. read more

This review is for both the apartments above and the tapas bar below. Starting with the apartments. It was a great space, very nicely furnished with a kitchen, dining table and living room, in addition to the bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities including tea and nespresso machine, washing machine, iron. It was very comfortable and great value. The only downside is it's not very near the center but it's only a mere 15min walk away. The check in was smooth and friendly. Now into the tapas bar! We had lunch there and was lucky to get a seat before the lunch crowd really came in. It seems this place has much more locals than tourists, but I guess that may also be due to it not being so central! We had the tiny clams which was delicious and also the razor clams. The honey cooked ribs weren't super tender but the flavor was amazing. We tried the squid cigar which was pretty good but nothing mins blowing. We felt the slow cooked egg could be a miss, but that could be down to preference. Overall, it's a great place to eat and hang out. You feel a little hip and in the know! read more

Amazing place - we've eaten in Barcelona but this really feels like it knocks those other restaurants out of the park. It feels like this is the way you'd expect an authentic tapas experience to feel like You can order anything and you'll enjoy it. We had this particular dish called sea-anemy? It was like this sea muscle like thing that is deep fried. We thought it was a muscle at first but it's something else. Definitely 10/10 dish - hard to describe but it was interesting in a very good way Price was more than fair.2.5 euros for a generous glass of wine. 1.50 for beer. Tapas are 2.9 across the menu, even the top ranked ones. Easily for 2 people, we had 4 tapas, the sea dish and 2 drinks and it was 21 euros. They also throw in complimentary bread and olives, so you'll get full No complaints and I can see how this place is rated so highly. Highly quality, exceptional service, laid back environment and price is beyond fair. A place I would recommend any friends or family that I know who plan or is going to visit Seville read more

We arrived about 7:45 on a Saturday night and had our choice of tables. But by 8:30 it was completely full, so worth arriving early if possible! We wanted to try more of the "modern tapas" that seems to be making a splash, and Eslava came up several times. They had several vegetarian options, which were tasty, although the meat dishes seemed to be more innovative. My meat-eating companion would have rated the food 5*, while my experience was more of a 4*, if that's helpful. Service was quick and helpful enough (like everywhere here, the waiters aren't trying to be your best friend, which I'm very OK with). Menus available in English, and prices were reasonable for the quality of food. Nice wines by the glass, as well. read more
