Eggplant and cheese with pine nuts

Food was amazing. Super cheap eats but you'd be surprised by the level of plating they still put in here. Even though the atmosphere feels more like a bar, you can find some really well prepared tapas here, and at a very very low price for the quality of food here. We had the eggplant with cheese which was amazing, the Camembert on bread with a very delicious marmalade that we scraped off the plate... - to top it off we had the cod with tomatoe purée and it was delicious as well. Total spent was about 18 euros which included 2 drinks. No complaints here as the service was exceptional. By far the cheapest and best tapas you can get here. No compromise on quality as well. Would definitely come back. At this price point you can eat here at least 3-4 times a week without breaking your bank. As a tourist, it's definitely a place you wanna check out. It'll make you smile and your bellies very very

Food, location, staff are just great! Always busy, but tapas are very fine and tastefull. Great beers also!

Best dish to end the evening, baked camembert!

I recommend to go early in working days if you want to find a seat. Since the food is nice, it gets packed.

I stumbled upon it…read morecompletely by chance on the first day of the arrival, after a long drive, simply because it was close to where I stayed. I knew nothing about it at the time, so I wasn't surprised later when I checked Yelp and saw how consistently praised it is. The restaurant sits directly across from the stunning Baroque San Luis de los Franceses (18th century). From the moment I walked in to ask about the menu and timing, the team was incredibly welcoming and patient, carefully explaining how everything works. We took a short walk to explore the neighborhood, got lost on the way back, and somehow found our way back just in time before the restaurant closing. Despite that, the staff remained warm and accommodating, especially when helping us navigate the wine and jerez selections. I was too tired and out of practice with my Spanish, so I reluctantly switched to English, and it was still completely fine. The food was outstanding, exactly as everyone says. There are no substitutions, and once you've eaten there, you understand why! Everything is intentional. They go out of their way to accommodate you within their philosophy and to make the whole "slow food" experience feel thoughtful, relaxed, and special.
