In my experience, they have always been reliable, knowledgeable, timely, and super helpful. They know what they are doing and they get the job done promptly, quickly, neatly, and well. They've handled burst pipes (fortunately no damage other than the pipe itself), pressure control valve replacement, re-plumbing a dishwasher, and snaking drains for us. Fast and accurate diagnosis and repair. They aren't cheap (nothing is these days!), but I think their prices are competitive. This company has been recommended again and again on the neighborhood Facebook group. When another contractor discovered pools of water in my crawl space, Erik was the first person I called. Ian came out next week, told me what to fix, and I did it myself. Unfortunately that didn't solve the problem, so he and Chris (?) came back out, discovered what the real problem was, and resolved the issue. While in the crawl space they discovered that my shower was leaking as well and that was fixed as well. All this was done promptly at a reasonable price, and the guys were very polite and professional.. I wasn't thrilled that they didn't replace the piece of insulation that was knocked down and left some spray foam in the crawl space, so minus half a star for that. Simply Leak Detection pinpointed a leak deep under my driveway between the house and the street. I called Erik and his crew worked very hard to dig to the pipe (more than 5 feet under the asphalt) and correct the problem. We hired Erik to do a full bathroom install (drainage rough in, new water lines, toilet, double vanity, add fixtures. Here are the issues we have found to date. Dripping P-trap, dripping supply lines, trim not fastened firmly against the tile (minor grout shaving needed, not done), trim not caulked, shower drain not centered, toilet not centered then tile chipped, paint scraped from install, mechanical vent improperly installed, bathtub and shower faucets installed backwards and incorrectly, shower leaking when tub running, pipe shavings and messes not cleaned up before leaving. Plumbing inspection final failed, hot and cold water for the shower are backwards and would need to tear out the wall to fix them and the left drain on the sink is leaking onto the teak vanity which I didn't catch before so now the $2900 wooden vanity has water damage. Through the entire process Erik was very passive aggressive and really didn't act like he cared. When asked about the shower drain and toilet not being centered he said, "does that really matter?" I would expect a good contractor to say "I'm sorry, what can I do to fix it?" This was a $65,000 new bathroom that turned out gorgeous except for the cheap work Erik did. He was sloppy, cheap and disorganized. Do not waste your time if you are adding a luxury en suite, he might be okay for plunging toilets though. read more

Erik D Plumber came to our house to snake the mainline to the sewer. He sent an apprentice out to do the work. The line backed up within a few weeks. I called to get them to come back to do the job correctly and that it is under warranty. He tried to say there is no warranty and that he would come back to fix it but would not honor the warranty. We tried to use Eric D plumbing but he said that they would not work if it had snowed. He said that he had liability to take his truck out and didn't want a possible accident. I am frustrated, I understand being swamped with work but the greater Seattle area now has snow every year for a week or two. Plumbing is an essential service so why no work if it snows? In fact, that's when plumbers are needed the most due to frozen pipes. I'm not talking a blizzard but only about 1 inch of snow. That's what winter snow tires are for. It would be like the police or firefighters saying, no, we don't go out if there is snow. I'm probably biased because several members of our families are essential workers and they work no matter what. We could really use more plumbers on the eastside. read more
