This shop had my Motorcycle since Jan 22nd and did absolutely ZERO work towards it.. I picked it up today at 4PM with SAPD and the owner of Eric's Cycle Shop Eric Alborg did not even come outside he had some random guy give me the bike. He was no where to be seen during the encounter. After making it almost impossible to pick up as he was busy. Upon receipt of my bike some of the plastic coverings returned were not my original ones and were ones that were completely scratched up, rusted, and looked like shit.. it was missing screws the front wheel cover was loose the tank was scratched and dented the Ignition switch was gone my license plate was missing and some paint scratched up. That's all that I noticed thus far... I have it scheduled to take to another mechanic next week to assess all the damage caused by Eric Alborg and his shop.. I expressed this to this individual and he said he would relay it Eric and see if they could locate the missing parts as his shop was a mess and difficult to look for anything. An hour later i messaged Eric inquiring about all my missing parts and damages and he claimed that he returned the bike to me as is and its a piece of shit bike anyways not worth anything... We went back and forth for a bit but ultimately he refused to give me any parts that were missing as the bike was returned "As is" and he claimed that I signed the "Assassin document" which frees him of any liability of damaged, missing, stolen property.. i expressed if he simply returns my parts we can be done with each other... if not i would be pursuing legal action.. he responded "Go for it I'm closing my shop anyways so your not going to get shit out of me" then he continued to say asshole this asshole that and went as far as stating "You should remember I have your address when you dropped it off so I suggest you stop while your ahead if your smart".... He refuses to accept any responsibility by claiming this document protects him from anything and that if I want to waste my time and pursue legal action on " a bike worth a Jimmy and 5 bucks" then go for it... ultimately he was blocked and I now have a bike which I turned in to him in that was in tact and just had a leaking carburetor.. BEWARE OF ERIC ALBORG FROM ERIC'S CYCLE SHOP. HE IS LITERAL SCUM AND WILL NOT ONLY BE A HORRIBLE BUSINESS OWNER AND INDIVIDUAL BUT TREATS YOUR PROPERTY AND INDIVIDUAL SELF JUST AS SHITTY!! read more

The BASIC Principles of Business are ROCKET SCIENCE TO ERIC A. I lost my bike AND $600 to this tiny little SH*T-STAIN. You cannot call this place a 'shop'..a MENTAL HOSPITAL maybe but definitely NOT a 'shop'. A shop of horrors perhaps... im surprised the city hasn't forced this clown to close by now!?!?!? Princess Eric left my bike in pieces laying on the sidewalk at lanark and austin hwy after 11 MONTHS of STEALING $1400.00 of my money, which was more than 1/2 of the total cost of the repair, and doing NOT ONE SINGLE REPAIR ON THE BIKE OR EVEN BUYING ANY PARTS (my bank managed to get all but $600 back). There was also another bike out on that sidewalk when mine was picked up in pieces that day, an Indian, they must have pissed him off by taking their business to him also. I guess he showed us. DON'T MAKE THAT MISTAKE. DO NOT take ur bike here because when your money hits his account that cash will be taken out of his account and placed BACK INTO MINE!!! THIS A$$BAG IS MENTAL..HE TOLD ME SO IN A TEXT, FFS!!! IT'S A NEW MONTH... I'm sure there will be more bikes in pieces out on that sidewalk in NO TIME!!! DON'T LET IT BE YOURS!!! Eric's a professional...a PROFESSIONAL EFFING JERK! If you make the REALLY poor decision of taking him ANYTHING... all i can say is, "goooood llluuuck with THAT fruitcake!" And be prepared for the excuses (there's a 1000 of them), "i can't get parts"... "I dont have any help"..."we're doing inventory", "the sun was in my eyes". Knowing him i'd have to infer that NO ONE WILL WORK FOR HIM CUZ HE'S NUCKIN' FUTS (BPD???!!..just a guess)!!! See the Yelp! review from 'Frankie C.' who states his bike was stolen from this shop and Eric the a$$wipe didnt call him to tell him OR report it stolen. Take him to court? NOT worth it...if he continues to do business like this someone WILL eventually wind up hurting this pathetic little a$$-phvck (fingers crossed). When i can look at the picture w/o vomiting i will post a pic of it in pieces out on the sidewalk with the Indian (also in pieces). Me? I can't even give this shop one star. If you value your bike your time in your money avoid this shop at all cost! Im a retited Army vet and I took my bike in to simply have the chain tightened And ended up with a cracked crankcase cracked front Fender missing cowl cover over my seat Busted oil Pan and scratches all along the bottom and side of my fairings. When i went to pick up my bike on the 2nd day they could not find my bike. Apparently One of the mechanics took my bike out on a test ride and never returned. no one could get in contact with him according to the owner who assured me he was going to call the police and report it stolen which he never he never did. Ten days later my bike magically reappears in the aformentioned condition. It gets worse i just dont have time to spell it all out. Come to find out I am not the only one that has been screwed by this bike shop. Bottom line is take your business and anyone else you know elsewhere this guy has some major mental issues and the worst business etiquette. read more

I've been a client of Eric's for some time. He has always treated me fairly even going out of his way to help with knowledge and support. I have sat and watched him work through the massive amount of bikes people dump on him with "simple work" to be done. Every bike he works on is out of warranty, and most shops will not even look at, because of age. When customers have something pointed out to them on their bike, they often assume that somehow Eric is responsible, even though he is just pointing it out. Most of the time, the small projects turn into much, MUCH larger projects, because people do not rigorously check their bike before it goes in. "It's only 8 years old, it should be fine!" Except that it's not, because that's why the warranty is for 5 years. People that have realistic expectations and work with Eric to find a solution are generally satisfied if not thrilled with his service. People that drop off their beater and expect miracle service from the only guy that will even look at their bike set themselves up to be disappointed. Eric's business does have problems, as do they all, but he is a man of his word, every time I have witnessed it. I would trust Eric with any vehicle I own. read more
