There are a lot of nice, competent people here but the parts and services dept. is screwed up. The manager has not trained his employees properly. They reimbursed me some $600 on a part I had ordered. Then, when I decided to reorder the part, the employee said I didn't have to put down a deposit...but I did anyway. My mistake. When I found another Harley dealership to get the job done more quickly and gave them the go-ahead, the manager said that he couldn't give me my deposit back. (What? Then why was I told that I didn't have to put down a deposit in the first place?) He said he'd give me a gift card but he never sent me one. I wouldn't be so pissed about this if I hadn't bought my bike here just a few weeks prior. I spent quite a lot on the bike as well as upgrades to it. I left with a feeling that Caliente really only cares about making money; certainly not about making the customer happy. read more

I have a 2010 custom Street Glide that was gifted to me as a retirement gift from 25 years serving active duty in the Air Force. Back in 2018, I took it to Caliente to replace the ECM, no problem at all. Service was provided and I was back on the road. Last week I called to have it towed due to engine running erratically. Tow was set up and Vincent was great. Shortly after it was towed away, I got a call from George. He was very direct and and indicated the manage said "we are not touching that bike, it's custom." He went on to say we can't return it until Friday and someone will give you a call to confirm the time. To which I agreed and asked is it possible to diagnose it? His response was just as rude, we aren't touching it. Friday came and he once again came across a little sideways, but this time over voicemail. The driver is loaded and on the way. Nine voicemails left by the time I noticed due to being at work and in meetings. The last message stated "we need to connect and if we don't deliver today it will be after the weekend and we will have to start charging storage fee of $20. Poor service, unprofessional and a poor reflection of leadership to his crew. Next time ask the customer if the bike is custom and you'll avoid it all. Won't be a next time for me. Two stars only because Vincent was great. George...could use some training. read more

I came here to test ride a 2024 Tri glide. I set an appointment with Louis. He let me know that they just got in a 2023 Tri Glide with only 10 miles on it. He asked me if I'd like to try it. The test ride was great. Louis and another salesman named Jesse answered all my questions. I'm 68 and haven't ridden a motorcycle in a long time These people were very helpful and knowledgeable. The finance guy is a retired navy chief so he really trims away the BS, and doesn't try to sell you things you don't need. I got a great deal and a beautiful trike, I'm happy. read more

Dixie from the service center gets two thumbs down from me. I spent an hour and a half of my Sunday driving across town to pick up a bike from the service center (of which I have already paid the $1,000 bill) just to leave empty handed. Dixie texted me on Friday letting me know the bike was ready for pick up, I let her know I would come on Sunday, she assured me that would be fine, and instructed me to speak to Willy upon arrival on Sunday. Well, once I arrived on Sunday as discussed, I found out Willy is off, the bike is not accessible, and no one from the service center could retrieve the bike. How disappointing, I sure hope the service center's mechanic skills are better than their customer relations. **Giving a few extra stars because they delivered my bike for free the following Monday. Stopped in to grab some souveniers for a friend back home and ourselves. The building (outside) was probably one of the cooler Harley's we have visited and we tend to visit in most cities when travelling. They had a huge inventory and we didn't get haggled by any salesman. Although my husband would buy a bike in a heartbeat, we aren't quite ready for that yet! The store was clean and well stocked. Make sure you check your estimate sheet that everything that they say they're gonna do, is on that estimate sheet; we got screwed royally can't do anything about it, because they didn't put it into the estimate sheet, leaving us with no proof of what they had said all the promises and all the work that they said they were going to do to the bike; my honest recommendation is stay away they don't have the customers, best interest at hand and that's putting it lightly. If you are looking for a place to be ignored, a place that doesn't answer their service phone line for over an hour throughout a week-day, a place that will tell you what they won't do or can't do, or a place that will offer you no support in an emergency, this place is for you. After walking around for 30 minutes and trying to get help while holding two kids, we got nothing. Apparently going into a Harley dealer and not fitting "the look" you won't get help. I asked multiple times simply just to get the right oil and ended up leaving because I couldn't be helped. But people who fit the look got help immediately. They've helped me on a number of occasions with genuine HD parts, the first thing I notice is that there is something in here for everyone who is a Harley fan. Window shoppers and entry level affordable rides and up.. Went to go rent a bike for my father in law who was visiting from out of state. Guy at the rental counter had an attitude like we were bothering him when asking questions. The website lists multiple models available for rental, but that's deceiving. They only rent fully dressed heritage and baggers, or sporties. My pops didn't want the windshield on the heritage, so I made the comment that he could remove it. The rental guy quipped, "you scratch my bike, you buy it!" No thanks. We left and went across town to Cowboys Harley. They also only had baggers, but they were as nice as could be and they acted like they wanted our business. I went in to buy some gear. As soon as I walked in a young lady (didn't get her name) greeted me and asked if she could help. I thought she'd 'help' like all the other retailers we encounter on a daily basis. Nope, she came from behind the counter and escorted me around the store. I asked for a vest and she took me to see some options. I started asking for other items and she was extremely helpful and patient. I didn't know exactly what I wanted, but that didn't deter her. I've never bought HD gear, I actually don't wear it, but I wanted to honor a late friend at her funeral. The sales rep didn't know it at the time, but she made my shopping experience so enjoyable and peaceful. All in all I bought wayyyyyy more than I went in for, but that doesn't matter. While traveling through San Antonio, we made a special trip to the dealership to check it out and by a few shirts. Don't go there for service. They inflate labor time and overcharge you by 25%. I had a simple handlebar change on a Dyna. I bought everything but the extended cables. They charged 9.5 hrs labor@ $117.50 hr. +$555. for the cables. I bought the bars ,risers, bushings, wiring kit, and turn signal mounts. $650. in parts. Thats $2400. for a Dyna handlebar change..... Imagine a Road Glide!!! read more
