You would expect a…read morebusiness called The Motorcycle Shop to cater to motorcycle riders, but it's more of a Vespa and scooter shop from the looks of the outside. Indeed, from other reviews, it appears their focus is on scooters. However, one desperate weekend, I was changing brake pads on my bike only to release I had the wrong part for my rear brake. This was, as is my modus operandi, a realization I had only after disassembling the caliper. Now, I've known of the The Motorcycle Shop from my daily commute but never been inside it. In a moment of desperation, I called them up and asked if they had the correct brakepad in stock. They, in fact, did. I asked them to hold the part for me and raced over there. Looks can be deceiving. The shop is larger inside than it looks from the outside and they sell various new and used motorcycles as well as scooters. I don't buy new so I can't speak on their pricing for bikes. There was a substantial wait at the parts counter. Lots of jib jabbing of the salesman variety. In all honestly, if I hadn't needed the part, I would have walked out and found one elsewhere. Eventually, a salesman noticed I was milling about and interrupted the man at the parts counter so I could pick up what I came for. They sell a fair amount of bolt on accessories, helmets, jackets, and the like. Nothing to write home about. They have mechanics on site, but I did not deal with them. If you're into scooters, this is probably your spot. If you are looking for a shop or to buy a motorcycle, well maybe. There are other motorcycle garages nearby with better reputations. The store was decent and the staff was friendly based on my interactions.

I picked it up today at 4PM with SAPD and the owner of Eric's Cycle Shop Eric Alborg did not even come outside he had some random guy give me the bike. He was no where to be seen during the encounter. After making it almost impossible to pick up as he was busy. Upon receipt of my bike some of the plastic coverings returned were not my original ones and were ones that were completely scratched up, rusted, and looked like shit.. it was missing screws the front wheel cover was loose the tank was scratched and dented the Ignition switch was gone my license plate was missing and some paint scratched up. That's all that I noticed thus far... I have it scheduled to take to another mechanic next week to assess all the damage caused by Eric Alborg and his shop.. I expressed this to this individual and he said he would relay it Eric and see if they could locate the missing parts as his shop was a mess and difficult to look for anything. An hour later i messaged Eric inquiring about all my missing parts and damages and he claimed that he returned the bike to me as is and its a piece of shit bike anyways not worth anything... We went back and forth for a bit but ultimately he refused to give me any parts that were missing as the bike was returned "As is" and he claimed that I signed the "Assassin document" which frees him of any liability of damaged, missing, stolen property.. i expressed if he simply returns my parts we can be done with each other... if not i would be pursuing legal action.. he responded "Go for it I'm closing my shop anyways so your not going to get shit out of me" then he continued to say asshole this asshole that and went as far as stating "You should remember I have your address when you dropped it off so I suggest you stop while your ahead if your smart".... He refuses to accept any responsibility by claiming this document protects him from anything and that if I want to waste my time and pursue legal action on " a bike worth a Jimmy and 5 bucks" then go for it... ultimately he was blocked and I now have a bike which I turned in to him in that was in tact and just had a leaking carburetor.. BEWARE OF ERIC ALBORG FROM ERIC'S CYCLE SHOP. HE IS LITERAL SCUM AND WILL NOT ONLY BE A HORRIBLE BUSINESS OWNER AND INDIVIDUAL BUT TREATS YOUR PROPERTY AND INDIVIDUAL SELF JUST AS SHITTY!!

I had an older motorcycle that I dropped off. It had set awhile and needed some carb work and some…read moreother items done. Well $700+ later I drive away. I get home, park it and had to leave town for two weeks. Came back fired it up and only runs when the choke is on. It just dies when throttle is used. I called BucketHeads and they said to bring it in. I explained I can't drive it and have not trailer, hence the fact that I had to pay for it to be towed by them the first time. They just said to bring it in and left me to figure out how to get it in. They kept telling me they spent way more time on my motor cycle then they were billing me for, but what good is that if it doesn't run. I would recommend going else were. They are very nice, but what good is that. The motorcycle is in the same shape as before, except i have a new battery. Update: I just spoke with them again and they are going to pickup the bike. I will report how it turns out. It is looking up though. Sorry for the late update. Bucketheads did come and get my motorcycle and they have it running like a charm. They stood by thier work and fixed th issue. They have won my business.
