Very happy with the service I received. Friendly and professional, I inquired first if their tire machine could handle 12" scooter wheels. They handled the wheels I dropped off with care, and they were carefully balanced as well as serviced with new shorty valve stems. Next time I won't wait so long to get this routine maintenance done! it pays to support your independent owned local businesses- you need them, they need you. read more

I emailed asking if they still had a motorcycle available, they never responded. I called to follow up several days later and thankfully it was still available. They sent over a purchase offer since I was paying cash. Purchase offer didnt match the final receipt. They added $200 to the price instead of it being a "DLR Prep" fee. I get there and was disappointed in the purchasing process because when I signed the title, it was also incorrect than what the actual mileage was but really wanted the motorcycle. I purchased the motorcycle and will never recommend or buy from this place again. read more

I bought a 2014 Honda VFR 800 Interceptor from Murray at Cycle Rider. I was coming from Austin, and appreciate their flexibility and service throughout. Bike was exactly as described, and they prepped it for the road before I picked it up. Price was terrific. Mary was great with the paperwork side of the process. Good group of people. Buy with confidence. read more

My husband Murray and I went and picked up our Gold Wing yesterday! We found the bike online and they were great to work with. They made everything incredibly easy to do over the phone. We walked in with the check and within an hour had the keys to the bike and ready to roll! Murray and Mary were so friendly and willing to answer any questions we had. read more

I recently bought my first motorcycle here, after a few months of riding I had a problem with the bike because of my own mistake, and I was amazed at how fast they took my bike and had it fixed the same day, thinking i was going to spend hundreds of dollars, I didn't! I will recommend this place to my friends and family!!! Everyone is great!! I appreciate the excellent level of customer service. read more

I am new to San Antonio and randomly selected this place to have my motorcycle inspection done. Not only will this be the only place I use for my inspections, but if I have an opportunity to do any other servicing or purchasing it will be here. Shane's commitment to customer service is unmatched. Needed a license plate bulb for the bike. Not only did Shane order it for me, but he even installed it for me. In NYC they would have told me to do it myself (while adding a few choice words I won't type here). Shane's simple above-and-beyond gesture guaranteed a customer for life. Thank you! read more

Around 3 weeks ago I got my first motorcycle. It was a pleasure doing business with Cycle Rider. The crew was great, the service was great, and the Indian Scout ABS was great. I didn't test ride it and didn't see it in person. I drove from Houston to get it, and it was better than what was told to me over the phone. Thanks for the great experience, and I will always remember my first motorcycle purchase. read more

Purchased a used Suzuki Burgman from Cycle Rider this weekend, and it was a very good experience. Mary and Murray were very friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive. Good selection of "gently used" inventory as well. I called before I picked up the bike and asked them to change the oil and coolant and was going to offer to pay that with a credit card, but they said it was already done and part of the purchase! Highly recommended, and even though I live in Houston, any future bike I purchase, they will be considered first. First rate. read more

The crew at cycle rider are outstanding. I have been there several times to deal with my cursed motorcycle and they have been friendly, professional and efficient at solving the issues I have had regarding this particular bike. The entire staff is knowledgeable and friendly and I have never seen a bad attitude from anyone while there. The prices for service are on par with other places I have been to in the area but the turnaround time here is quicker. Todd and Tim are amongst the professional employees I have dealt with that have provided great service. read more

This company is awesome. Victor in service rebuilt my carberuator for me and did it in 1 day using my parts. He also installed a new front tire for me. Best part I truly like is they make you feel like you are very important to them and that's a good feeling. They also carry some really nice bikes and are very reasonable on their prices. If you need work done go here. You will not be disappointed in their service. read more

This is the best experience I've ever had with a motorcycle dealership. They gave me a great deal on a 2006 Yamaha V-twin, replaced the battery, AND delivered the bike to my house, same-day! Dealing with Will and Mary was a pleasure, and they really helped me get a nice ride while staying within my budget. +5 will definitely be coming back here for more - and recommending them to friends :-) read more

Had a problem with the service department, but the owner went above and beyond to make it right. Thank you!

I have stopped doing business with other dealers in san antonio primarily based on the customer service i have recieved from Shane, their parts guy. Every single time he has promised me a call back to check on a part or ANYTHING, I always get a call back. Not days later like other places. Cycle rider definitely has my respect and my business. read more

Took a Harley in for a replacement of a tire. Forgot who I talked to, but everyone was nice. The mechanic had a stomach virus and was advise to leave my bike there till the next day, Well he changed his mind and decided to do it right then and there. I really appreciated it. Took almost an hour and the price was good compared to a main dealership. If anything else comes up, I'm taking my bike and will recommend others here. Thanks again. read more

Steve in parts is very knowledgable and very willing to help out and share tips. Great group of guys out there!

I bought by first motorcycle from them and it was an enjoyable and easy experience. It was a Buell Blast and was reasonably priced. They had done some work to it to make it roadworthy such as new tires, carb clean, and a few other things so I was getting a reliable bike. Everyone I dealt with was polite and nice to work with. There was no pressure to buy anything in particular and I would go back there to buy my next bike. Only issue I had was that the financial department forgot to charge me a $100 fee (I believe it was a doc fee) so the final paperwork was inaccurate. They called me to let me know about their mistake and we worked it out. I have had this issue before with other merchants and they took the money out of my account without asking so I appreciate Cycle Rider calling me up and working it out rather than just taking the money out. read more

Steve ("Mossrider") in the Parts Dept is a stand-up guy who really cares about the customer. Dont expect to be able to negotiate on motorcycle pricing, but then the pricing is very reasonable to begin with. read more

Went in to see a bike I liked on the website. Ended up buying an 2014 DL1000 Adventure that looks and rides like brand new. They took very good care of the bike before and during the sale. Performed full maintenance before I took possession and were extremely pleasant to do business with. read more

I bought a 2007 Honda Shadow from them. The gas tank started corroding so I bought a brand new one and had them install and they were supposed to clean and repair the entire fuel system. The bike has NEVER run correctly since! It has been back to them and they assured us it was fine, the last time was about 4 month ago. It ran for about one month then wouldn't start again. I'm tired of their poor service and BS that dates back to 2014. Their service guy is either a moron or a scam artist! read more

Good service department, they have done a great job on the work I've brought to them (mounting/balancing tires, rebuilding forks, etc.). Work is done when they estimated. Paid $40 for a rear wheel R&R (new valve, weights, re-cycling fee), but when I had a bad tire last year they helped me diagnose the issue in just a few minutes. I don't know about the Sales side of the house but they always have a good selection of used bikes and have heard good things. Its worth checking out if you are in the market. read more
