Tiramisu Pancakes OH MY GOD!! So so good
    Ash G.

Don't you just hate it when all you can eat buffets are just not that appetizing? Well me too, that's why I LOVE Eques, Their buffet is not overly packed with items but still plentiful and continuously refreshed (well except the chocolate croissant, come on guys do better) The service is always friendly and we were promptly seated (reservations are best guys) it did take a moment for our server to come back to us but soon we had coffee and juice and hit the buffet. There was scrambled eggs, chicken sausage, potato medley, pancakes, and a bunch of other warm items. I will say the make your own omelette is no longer part of their buffet and I do wish waffles were but alas. Lots of fruit, yoghurt, pastries, jams, toast and the coffee is nice and strong, heck the view isn't bad either. Will be be back as usual

It was just OK. Staff was super friendly. I had eggs Benedict. One of my eggs had a large egg shell in it. You can see my picture. It happens... But chefs and cooks need to have attention to detail, especially at this price point.

Excellent breakfast at Eques! They are only open from 6:30am -10am, and they're inside the Hyatt upstairs on the second floor. There is only valet parking for the hotel, but you a can park at the Lincoln Square parking garage, which they will validate. You gotta get the Duck, Duck Waffle. It comes with a poached egg, duck leg, and some micro greens. Even if you don't like duck, you will like this one. It tasted more like Thanksgiving turkey than anything else.

Tiramisu pancakes, great bit really? Over twenty bucks for four pancakes???

Had a daddy children day and decided to take the kids out to breakfast before the festivities. Eques had photos of specialty French toast etc so decided to take them here. Swing and a miss. Took twenty minutes to get our orders in. Apparently the good stuff is in their buffet but I didn't want to pay almost twenty bucks for a 6yr old that would barely touch her food so we went a la carte. Son got like two silver dollar pancakes and my daughter ended up with half an eggo waffle. 10 bucks each and both kids were unhappy with their food. When I came in I looked at the buffet table and didn't think much of it so I went with tiramisu pancakes. I got 4 small pancakes and that was it. Over twenty bucks for four pancakes and nothing else. I guess I should expect these kind of prices from the Hyatts hotel. 4 star hotel, 4 star restaurant right? With 4 star prices! And 4 star service! Oh no my friends you are sadly mistaken.... Waited over twenty minutes to get our order taken. Waited OVER AN HOUR to get a check and even then three other tables around me complained and I had to walk over to the manager and raise hell. Over an hour! It wasnt even abnormally busy. Had to wait another 10-15 minutes for them to run my card. All in all we spent over two hours there waiting with bored children with only 5-10 minutes of it spent eating. And that's a conservative estimate considering their small serving sizes. On to the good. The tiramisu pancakes were some of the best pancakes I've ever had. But let's be real, they are only pancakes... not A5 waygu or crab legs or something. As I told your front end manager Eques... over a hour waiting to be checked on is UNACCEPTABLE

I ate breakfast here while staying at the Hyatt. There is both a buffet option and a la carte option. I found the a la carte options more unique so I wanted to try those. I ordered the: duck waffle- 8.5/10. The duck was juicy and tender, the meat falling off the bone. The waffle was almost a little too soft for me, and the sauce sweet enough that I didn't use any maple syrup. But I would get this again for the duck. crab eggs Benedict- 8/10. Eggs cooked well, crab was ok. Hollandaise was a little too thick. yogurt with fruit plate- 9/10, fruit was fresh and I appreciated the variety. Solid start to the day.

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency for a week and had breakfast here each morning so we were able to try so many different options. The serving sizes are large and the any of the crab dishes were delicious. The specials were really good and paired well with savory dishes. Our servers were all super friendly and chatty and very helpful with local recommendations. We tried the buffet on the first day and found the menu to be more worthwhile!

Inside Smoked Salmon Egg White Omelet

Eques is the main breakfast/brunch restaurant inside the Hyatt Regency Bellevue, located on the second floor. Large, welcoming restaurant with upscale vibe, stone statues of horses, and plenty of seating. They do offer a breakfast buffet but it was Eques' ala carte menu that was really intriguing. You'll see inclusion of salmon and crab in their offerings, but also really unique items like Tiramisu pancakes and duck duck waffles! I wanted to try their Tiramisu Pancakes but on the day we went they reported issues with the pancake maker. I got the duck duck waffles instead which were pretty good. You get an entire roasted duck leg on top of a waffle. A French version of Chicken and Waffles, I suppose. (4 stars) Smoked Salmon Egg White Omelet was also good, though I found the combination of smoked salmon and all that cheese to be on the saltier side for sure. (4 stars) I don recommend getting their yogurt granola (5 stars) to share. The fresh berries and granola play well with the larger, crunchy hazelnuts. The oatmeal is also decent. It has berries and candied almonds, and you can always add some honey for more sweetness. Definitely an excellent breakfast/brunch option in Bellevue. Super convenient for us since we were staying in the Hyatt for 3 nights.

Maybe this place was just too upscale for me. I don't eat salmon for breakfast kind of girl. The wait staff was amazing. The score is simply because I didn't like the food. The restaurant and the staff itself were good. I don't know how you mess up an omelet but the cheese was in globs, there was almost no bacon and the veggies were just heated up. I would typically good the veggies for a bit before putting it in an omelet.

Was staying at the hotel and had breakfast here. It's a nice restaurant. Service was good, and they came by pretty often to check up on us. We ordered Dungeness crab omelette, Belgian Waffle, and a custom omelette. The sauce on the Dungeness crab omelette tasted too sour, not to our taste buds. The custom omelette was decent, not bad. The waffles were fluffy and fresh - was prob our favorite dish.

Excellent service with amazing food. Location has a beautiful ambiance and views. Had breakfast options of buffet or a la cart and had eggs Benedict that was made to perfection!

Dubai chocolate pancakes with gold flakes

Nice brunch spot located in the Hyatt Bellevue. Came with some friends for a Saturday morning brunch and we enjoyed our meal! In particular we enjoyed the salmon omelet and crab eggs Benedict. We had a hard time choosing between the Dubai chocolate pancakes and the tiramisu and our host was sweet enough to let us order half of each. While the pancakes were a little too sweet for my liking, this experience overall was great. Our waitress checked on us continuously and was so kind!

    Crab omelette
    Chip P.

Pretty solid breakfast option when staying at the hotel! Price point was rather high for most items, but the crab omelette was very good. For a restaurant in a hotel, I was really surprised at how good it was! Restaurant was clean, aesthetic was nice, and service was consistent.

    Chevalier S.

Ww dropped in on whim on a Sunday. We chose not to do the buffet and order off the menu. The food and drink order took over 30 minutes to get to us, and the restaurant wasn't all that busy. I would only think about coming back for the brunch if I were staying at the hotel.

Sadly the bagel sandwiches aren't nearly stuffed to what they used to be and even the orange juice had extra pulp. There are restaurants you visit, and then there are restaurants that receive you. The Lakehouse in Bellevue is firmly in the second category -- and on my birthday, they made absolutely sure I knew the difference. The space sets the stage beautifully. The decor strikes a balance that shouldn't work on paper but absolutely does in person: luxury farmhouse meets farm-to-table warmth. Every detail feels intentional -- elevated without being stiff, rustic without being casual. You feel the care before the food ever arrives. And then the food arrives. I started with the crispy maitake mushrooms -- and let me tell you, this appetizer did not come to play. Deeply flavorful, perfectly textured, the kind of first course that makes you reconsider every mushroom dish you've had before. A stunning opening act. For my entrée, I couldn't choose -- so I didn't. I ordered the 72-hour beef short ribs and the salmon, because it was my birthday and restraint felt beside the point. Both delivered. The short ribs, slow-cooked into submission, were the definition of patient cooking paying off. The salmon was equally confident -- clean, well-executed, and proof that this kitchen respects every protein on the menu. The cocktails kept pace with the food. The Civil Unrest and the Passion Fruit Margarita were both beautifully crafted -- bold enough to have a point of view, balanced enough to drink alongside a serious meal. And then -- the moment that sealed it. In place of a birthday cake, the staff presented me with a biscotti parfait. Elegant, unexpected, and genuinely delicious. It felt personal rather than procedural, which is everything you want on a day like that. The staff was warm, attentive, and present without hovering -- the hallmark of a dining room that actually trains its people. Add a $50 birthday credit to the experience, and The Lakehouse didn't just meet the occasion. It became the occasion. This is what a celebration dinner should feel like. Return visit?
