When I saw a video of the job they did at the Fraser Fire Department floor, I was sold. I actually reached out to Fraser FD and asked how the floor was holding up. They told me it had been approximately 6 years since they had the floor done, and it still looked like brand new. Max was very helpful in the process from setting up an appointment for an estimate, to keeping me apprised of the process leading up to installation. The employees were on time and couldn't be friendlier. They cleaned up upon finishing the job and answered all my questions. The floor is absolutely beautiful. And it has a lifetime warranty. They used a completey different paint brand and the colors weren't right. They also obviously did not tape (there are wonky lines and areas where paint overlaps other colors) and there are flecks of paint on the toilet and flooring and other random places. This is the sort of quality you would expect from paying your friend's kid a few hundred bucks, not the work of a professional that cost thousands of dollars. Pretty disappointed. Edit: They responded with some pretty bold lies. I have email proof that I requested the paint brand that I requested. Also, anyone who tries to blame the wall for the bad paint job obviously isn't very good at their job. The paint lines overlap in places and the lines aren't straight at all--it is obvious they just eyeballed it without taping things properly. They originally said it would take six days to do, but they rushed it through in three because they double-booked themselves on another job. Every time people come over they comment about the wonky paint job and the paint flecks everywhere. None of these problems should ever exist at the price point they are charging. Professionals get things done properly; they don't provide a list of excuses. Be prepared to babysit them and check every step of their work if you do hire them or else who knows what you will end up with.

It seemed like a nice place with some good options for cabinets and counters. Del was the only one there and helped answer a few questions for us, informing us that he was the "counter guy" and that Tim was not in that day to do our cabinet estimate. That was fine, Del took our information and kitchen details to leave for Tim to contact us with a cabinet estimate. Del seemed knowledgeable about counters and that he'd do a good job with our counter estimate once Tim could get our cabinets done. 5 days later after calling once and emailing Tim, we hadn't heard anything back. We just bought the house and the 3-4 week lead time for ordering cabinets is part of the critical path of our remodel. It has been over 2 weeks now and we haven't been contacted once. We clearly were either not a priority for them or they lost/ignored our request for an estimate. They get two stars because they seem like their product is good and other reviewers have claimed that they do good work. We wouldn't know since they wouldn't even get to the point of giving us an estimate for our business. Make sure to call ahead to ensure that Tim or Del is in before driving over there, don't rely on them to contact you.

The price seemed to not be out of line with the big box stores but the process at those stores was pretty convoluted while Dexter Cabinet put it into one nice package (although we decided to purchase a different faucet than the several good ones they offered in their package). After a couple go-rounds at Lowe's, we threw up our hands and went with the more "comfortable" (and LOCAL) Dexter Cabinet option. Glad we did. I would however recommend that potential customers take some responsibility for keeping the communication going. Contact them if you don't hear back when you expect to. That worked really well for us. This seems to be the way to work with most contractors, we've found.
