Gearing up for another house project with Tri-Pups! As per usual they have been amazing. We are finally getting the back yard of our dreams! At this point they have brought out their architect for some design options and provided me with a quote that was very reasonable for the project. They did have a charge associated with having the architect come out that was very small. I can't remember what it was, but it will be baked into the ultimate project payments. Did I shop around? Well... no. These guys have done a lot of work on my house. They have amazing integrity, good pricing from my past shopping around, I can trust them with my dogs and we are mimicking the amazing front porch design they created for me so it just makes sense to stay with a company I trust. I hired Tri-pups to replace my basement bathroom. They gave me multiple layouts to choose from and i ultimately moved the bathroom to a completely new place. Everyone i met associated with the project were pleasant and did their job well. A ++ on communication - everyone showed up when they said they were going to or called if running late, which i really appreciated. I was very impressed with how their payment plan was structured - it made me confident that the job would get done. There were a few things i asked for a change on and they completed the change without too much fuss. Overall good experience with the company. The new bath is definitely the favorite room now; we might have to upgrade the rest of the house to match. read more

I hired TriPups and paid their asking price ($1040) for a tear out and reinstall. I was not happy with the way it looked and how they left it. I asked them to come back and take the sink base out - which I would pay them for, my mistake - and that I would proceed myself from there. Instead, they quoted other work and said (via email) they had no time to come back out again, suggested I hire another contractor closer to my home. I posted a Google review (and here) which apparently they take offense to, and instead of reaching out to try to make things right (or simply quote me for what I asked) they have instead opted to have a law firm send me a 'cease and desist' demand that I change my reviews/opinions, effectively challenging my freedom of speech. IF you hire them, be warned! Get ready for disappointments and unprofessionalism, and maybe a letter from a lawyer bullying you to change your opinion! read more

By far the WORST contractor I've ever worked with. Short cuts left and right. DO NOT USE THEM. When Chris arrived on site his first day on the job, we had to print out his quote because he did not remember what was in the specifications. We should have taken that as a major red flag but gave him the benefit of the doubt. The first day we came home, everything was wrong. We talked about placement of outlets - they were in awkward places. Why do I need an outlet below my countertop behind the stove when my stove already has an outlet on the floor? We offered to draw up specific plans and he threatened to walk. Countertops were not leveled - they blamed it on us living in an old house and unlevel floors. I spent good money on soft close cabinets that don't work because they refused to put shims in. And I got double charged when I asked them to fix it when they were visibly not level. My countertops: a mess. I ordered butcher block -plenty of it. But their lazy a**es refused to marry the two sides. Instead, my island has one beveled edge and one straight edge running down the middle. Walls? They never got finished. The primer was half a**ed. Painting? We paid for it and it never got done. Numerous times he threatened to walk off the job because he had better things to do. read more

Debbie and Chris did another great job at a good price. I have a rental, and the particle board cabinets fell off the laundry wall. I guess that is what happens when you have particle board cabinets over time. I told Chris I wanted sold wood cabinets to match the cabinets in the kitchen. He selected the cabinets and installed them. They look great. I and my tenant are very happy with the work. I will use them again and tell my family and friends to use them if they want quality work done at a fair price. read more

We've used (and continue to use) Tri-Pups for all our home repair/maintenance/upgrade needs. So far we've had them build a fence, install ceiling fans, re-grout a shower, install baby locks, fix a toilet, fix an outdoor electrical outlet, add a door lock to a sliding door, build custom baby gates, close off an exterior door to the house, match wood flooring to existing flooring....They seem to do it all! We prefer working with them because they are a small, locally-owned business. We know everyone on their team on a first name basis and feel 100% comfortable leaving them with the keys to our house.
