I have contacted them about the warranty and company failed to respond even after a certified letter. We have video and photo evidence that shows complete damage to our property, even after they attempted to resolve an issue. The Flooring Company sent out a cleaning crew and painter to attempt to resolve some issue, which ultimately failed. There are numerous soft spots throughout the floors, confirmed by numerous contractors after installation. We aren't asking for perfection but a professional job after spending over $25,000 for flooring. Your business practices we have experienced has been deceptive and unprofessional. UPDATE: Owner sent me an email asking to remove my bad review or he will pursue legal action. Watch out! Deceitful! The photos reflect the condition of which The Flooring Company LLC left my property in after they completed the job. I had to complain and push to get a cleaning crew which was ineffective (I had to spend $400 to get a cleaning crew to come out after The Flooring Company LLC's cleaning crew "cleaned" the property). Additionally, The Flooring Company LLC hired a painter to patch the damage to my walls, which did a poor job. Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional company. I'm looking forward to The Flooring Company LLC to post the final images and videos of their flooring at my property--which would be downright embarrassing for their company. After 22 total days of delays, excuses, and lack of communication, I became extremely frustrated. What disappointed me most was not just the delay itself, but how the situation was handled. After expressing my frustration through text messages, Tommy (Haitham), instead of having management or the owner professionally address the issue, involved people from my community who had absolutely nothing to do with this transaction. I started receiving calls regarding a private customer dispute. No business should allow an employee to involve outside individuals in a customer issue. That was extremely unprofessional and inappropriate. I later spoke with the owner, Simon, and explained the entire situation. At the beginning of the call, I even asked him what the company's mission was, and he stated that it was to make customers happy and satisfied. Unfortunately, I can honestly say I left this experience feeling neither happy nor satisfied. The delays already caused enough stress and financial loss due to rent and project setbacks, but the employee behavior and management's acceptance of it made the experience even worse. For the record, I never used disrespectful language toward Tommy (Haitham). I simply asked Tommy (Haitham) to stop contacting and harassing me, and I expressed how frustrating and exhausting this situation had become after weeks of delays and broken promises. In the show room we worked with Rich and he knew everything about the products and made us feel comfortable. He did not pressure us and made sure that we were selecting the best product that would work for us and our needs (which is unlike other larger companies in our area). Wonderful products and service. His son did the installation. We had a complicated project with nice hardwood laminate that was put into several rooms. First they had to tear out several different types of flooring and make sure all the rooms were all level. This was complicated because we had several years and layers of laminate from the previous homeowners. His team was on time, worked hard and in the end their work was beautiful! This is the best flooring company in the canton, Livonia, Plymouth and Westland area. You will get individual service because the people care about their customers and it is family owned. We chose Independent Carpet One based on reviews that we read on yelp. When we went in to the showroom in Westland we met with Cathy. We told her the specifics we wanted with our carpet - durable, comfortable, green labeling/low off gasing, and relatively inexpensive since we just bought a home and still needed furniture. Cathy went through all of our "wants" and told us what we could get in the store, she explained to us about all of the different products they have and then made a great recommendation for us to start looking at the Lee's brand of carpet. She let us know that it would be a great carpet choice because it had many of the properties that we were looking for in carpet, plus so much more. And at the time it was 50% off, which allowed us to get a higher quality of carpet for a great price! We chose to have Carpet One do all of the labor, which raised our overall price, however it was worth EVERY penny we spent! David and Ali did a phenomenal job of safely & efficiently removing the old carpet and pad, sanitizing and cleaning our space and then laying down the new pad and carpet. I know that there are seams in the carpet, because I saw the schematic drawing of how they were using the remnants of the carpet and yet we cannot find a single seam! Great care was taken with our home and we are very appreciative of that! The entire carpet experience was fantastic and effortless on our part. Carpet One will be getting all of our flooring business in the future and will be the business we recommend everyone going to for their flooring needs. I recently had to have two areas of damage repaired to laminate flooring in my home, and Carl sent two experts to evaluate the floor. I didn't think it was possible to repair the damage. But the contractors were able to remove the damaged planks and replace them with new ones that I had on hand from the original installation. You can't tell that a repair was done. The contractors were professional and so friendly. It was apparent that they loved doing their work. I highly recommend this flooring company.
