Depending on their stock of a particular item you can find some excellent deals on media. They have a 7 day return policy that I've never had to use but provides a buyer the chance to return a disc in the event that it doesn't work after you get it home. I would give them a zero if i could. They are incredibly disorganized and i mean you have to walk over DVDs and stuff on the floor. They take forever to help you and when they do they know less than you do about stuff. They give less than 30% trade in for what they will sell it for and don't bother asking cash they'll just rip you off. I do realise a business needs to make money but your better off selling your stuff to a bum seeing as you would get more. I have put this store on my gaming blacklist and i intend to never go there again i suggest video game headquarters in Springfield as they are organised and very friendly oh and they know what there selling imagine that! In conclusion i rather throw my used games in a dumpster than deal with this business again. read more

Kind of overpriced when comparing to other used game places. Went in to look for a used Nintendo handheld and was shocked to see that they were quite a bit more expensive than GameStop in the mall. The music is too loud and it smells pretty bad in there. Might give them one more shot before I give up all together. read more

Firstly, the employees are incompetent and rude. I asked one girl who worked there about a price and was met with a dirty look and a sharp tone. Most of the stuff the sell is in such poor quality. Great place to look for reasonably priced games and movies. It's nice to find some obscure movies you can't find elsewhere.

I bought a Wii not long ago there, used of course, but was perfectly fine, I've not had an issue at all with it, the staff was super friendly and helpful when I was purchasing it, made sure I understood their policies and that if it wasn't working to come back and they would fix the issues I had. I visit here every week. It's the sickest place because of the unique music they play while you browse through a wide collection CD's, DVD's, Video Games, Posters and some really sick clothes. Not to mention it's reputation for some killer deals. You are able to get rid of your old CD's and DVD's and Games for a reasonable sum in trade or cash. I guarantee that you will be spending alot more time in here than you thought you were. 4 stars. read more

This is one of my favorite places to get DVD and music and my son loves this place because of the good game selection. The staff is very knowledgeable and the prices are great. I am glad I found this place because it definitely saves money, great selection, and I love the hip and fun scene. The only downside which isnt their fault is the parking was challenging and I was harrassed by some transients for change. Definintely worth it all and going there if I ever need any more music, movies or games! read more

I stopped by CD/Game Exchange as a last ditch effort to score several second-hand PlayStation Move controllers. The controllers were much cheaper than I expected, the employees were friendly, and I learned I could've rented the controllers if desired (had I known beforehand I might have done that, but they were cheap enough that I'm happy owning them). I'm so torn about this place because they do have a lot of good stuff, games, CDs, all that nice stuff the other reviews mention. But then I get a little overwhelmed that the staff is asking if you need something constantly and to get to any of the games you need someone to come over with a key (though there usually is someone right there about to ask you yet again if you need anything when you get curious, so yay that you don't have to hunt them down but boo that it seems like they reaaaaally want to know what you're doing all the time. Maybe they're afraid of theft more than anything else?). The cases have been so worn down that so many game titles are obscured by the scratches so yeah you're gonna be asking them a lot of times to open cases. Also it bugs me a little that the little grab boxes of super cheap games for like psp or gameboy are also in cases so you have to ask just to shuffle through things that even the store admits with their pricing is pretty cheap cheap cheap. Grab boxes would make more sense to me to leave somewhere a little easier to search through. Anyway, the final verdict is that this place is worth a visit every so often, but if you have anxiety issues that make social situations challenging you might want to bring a buffer friend to help out. read more
