I'd also fully expected we would go in here and find something and have to buy it on Amazon because it would be significantly cheaper. But that wasn't the case, and that made me so happy. Their prices are absolutely reasonable, even for things that are normally insane and overpriced. I was really impressed. The staff that are working clearly love their job and are incredibly helpful. They greeted us when we walked in, let us explore, and answered all of our questions, taking us to certain aisles and showed us things. We were definitely welcomed in the store. We ended up buying two toys for our nephew's first birthday, and I'm definitely coming back when Christmas comes closer. This is such an amazing small local business to support and everyone should take the time to stop by.

This place is pretty average. More often than not I get the ones that are excited to talk about video games. I've had my share of trade-ins and their trade-in value is pretty low. I stopped taking games there 5-6 years ago because the value was so awful. About 10% of the selling price of the game. I get it -- they have a lot of that copy. But don't buy it for $2.50 when you sell it on the shelf for $25. My most recent experience wasn't the best. I was looking for the accessory device that plays PSP games. They are new on Amazon for about $45. I asked if Gamestop happened to have one and I showed them the ad from Amazon. Wasn't expecting a price match, but was hoping maybe they had one on the shelf so I didn't have to wait to order one. They checked and didn't stock one but could order one. I would be charged shipping of some kind, but they would lower the price to $30 for the device so including the shipping, I would come in a few bucks less than Amazon. Would take a week either way, so I opted to help out the local business. When I got the part (it was shipped to me), it was USED, not NEW like the one on Amazon. It already had some games on it (most were freebies from PS+ that I already had on my PS3 or PS4). I formatted the entire thing for the previous owner's protection and got the device up and running. It is a little shaky. It has to have the HDMI cord in it very specifically or it won't display a picture. It works, but it sure as hell is finicky. The return policy on used products is 7 days. I didn't even open mine after I got it for 5 days (because it took a week and a half instead of a week so I didn't have time to play it right away). I would have had to swing on during one of the two remaining days to deal with it. Also, they couldn't get me another for another week or more. So all in all, this device works -- mostly. It is about on par for the course for this location. Sometimes you luck out, sometimes you don't. I stop in from time to time, but I will buy games on-line or go to Video Game HQ. I would check them out as a last resort for local purchases personally.

It's the prices and customer service. The employees will bend over backwards for the customers. Reserving games and movies to make the customer happy. The prices are so affordable.
