I am always hesitant to buy any costly items without seeing them in person, but my initial interest in doing business with Epic Cycles in Delray Beach was raised after reading customers' reviews. After posting an initial question on their website and getting Sam's response, I then swapped several text messages with him asking additional questions about the bike I was interested in and its availability, since there were very few of what I was looking for online nationwide. Sam promptly and completely answered all my questions and concerns. After thinking it over while traveling, I eventually made the decision to move forward as I felt very comfortable with Epic Cycles and the responses I received. Shortly after I made the purchase, I received an emailed purchase confirmation as well as follow-on notifications informing me of the bike being shipped out of Epic's Denver location, where the bike was located. Delivery was prompt....about 1 week from the purchase date. Follow-on discussions with Sam confirming the arrival of my new bike and some final questions I had made me feel that purchasing my bike from Epic Cycles was a very good decision. Top notch shop! I had trouble finding a bike in my size within a 100 mile radius of me. Epic cycles had no problem getting the bike to me and even called me to make sure everything was good to go. Packaging of the bike was perfect! No damage or imperfections and everything was padded where it needed to be. I had an issue putting together the bike as the fork/frame had some play. Danny had no problem calling me and I even showed him my issue. He walked through the entire process with me over the phone! (Talk about great customer service). It took about 15-20 minutes for him to diagnose, explain, and get everything fixed. This shop is very open to helping you and if you need something bike related, do not hesitate to shop and/or get service from here! If I ever come down to Florida or Denver and need a bike. All the guys were very helpful in guidance to pick out the proper bike. I did end up having an issue with a broken spoke. No issue they repaired it right away. No questions. Bought a second bike right away. If I needed a third I would not hesitate to keep going back to Epic. read more

Reposting as it was somehow removed... Not much into posting reviews; however wanted to share my experience with a purchase and later warranty issue. I purchased a Cervelo Soloist frame from Epic Cycles via web sales. Initial contact from Carlos was extremely supportive and helpful. After receiving the frame I contacted Carlos on and informed him of damage to the packaging but doubted there was any damage to the frame. I had my local bike shop technician perform the build for me. I was informed by the technician there was a problem with the threading for the bottom bracket. I reached out to Cervelo directly and was instructed to work with Epic cycles to start a claim. I contacted Carlos at Epic on 28 Dec 22 and was informed by Carlos he would be imitating a claim for me. Carlos reached out to me again on 3 Jan 23 requesting pictures of the damaged area as well as the serial number of the frame. Carlos also asked if I could have the technician try and repair the threads and stated "this would be the quickest fix and we would comp the Bottom bracket". I provided all of the requested information the same day. On 5 Jan 23 I contacted Carlos to inform him the technician was able to clean up the threads and install the new BB. I provided pictures of the repair with the receipt of the replacement Kogel BB valued at $246.99. I followed up with Carlos on 10 Jan 23 retesting status on the payment for the BB. Carlos responded he was waiting to hear from Cervelo and would keep me informed. I had not heard from Carlos so I again reached out to Cervelo for an update, only to be informed they had no open claim for my frame from Carlos Epic cycles. Cervelo asked me to reach to Carlos and ask for the RMA claim number he would have received from Cervelo when he opened the claim. I reached out to Carlos on 24 Jan 23 requesting the claim number. To date I have not heard back from Carlos or anyone other team member from Epic Cycles. Not sure how this is going to play out. I am unsure of how Cervelo will address my concern.... I am extremely disappointed with the entire warranty transaction from Epic cycles. No one enjoys being strung along and lied to. Completely unacceptable. From prior reviews I see regarding Epic cycles its apparent there are many satisfied customers. I guess they must have not had to submit a warranty claim and worked with Carlos. They had the bicycle my wife wanted. They put it together and delivered it to my door. We requested a slight modification so they came back to our house, picked up the bicycle, made the fix and returned it!! I highly recommend this business. read more

Horrible, unprofessional and let's not forget they bait and switch! We needed to get a tire fixed and was first quoted $25. 00. When he couldn't fix it ( as he was the only one in the store) he said he would have it Tuesday and it would be $60.00. When we picked up on Tuesday the $60 became $70. DO NOT USE EPIC!!!!Plenty of other places to give my business to in Delray and this is not one of them!!!! read more

I recently went in to Epic Cycles to purchase a Road Racing Bike. I met Alvaro and was immediately welcomed and made to feel at ease. The store is full of bikes and riding accessories that I had not even known existed. Alvaro and his staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in purchasing a riding cycle. After speaking with Alvaro he learned what I wanted to achieve with riding, fitness and immediately suggested options. Once the bike arrived at the store I made a fitting appointment for the bike and literally was off and riding. I would recommend this store to anyone looking to get into cycling.
