I would highly recommend this local bike shop. My stepson and I have been here 3-4 times on different occasions and Jeff always takes great care of us. I was in the other day because I accidentally damaged my boss' bike. Jeff fixed it in about 3 minutes and didn't want to charge me since it was such a minor repair. I made him charge me for the labor since even 3 minutes is worth something. He's super knowledgable and always willing to take some time to explain the situation with whatever issue we are having with our bikes. I went to the Bicycle Lab yesterday to check for a comfier seat cushion and to see if they could raise my handle bars a little and the care I got knowledge I walked away with was easily worth more than what I paid for. They did everything on site and quick, asked me to ride around to see how I felt about it, and adjusted the seat when they realized the seat was too low for me (the change made it a lot easier to bike around and I wouldn't have thought about it because I know nothing about bikes) and filled up my tires when they saw it was almost flat. After getting home, I realized there was a slightly closer bike shop to me, but I'll keep going out of my way to go to this one. read more

I see a lot of great reviews on here but unfortunately mine experience was the opposite. I started to assemble my 8 year olds bicycle for Christmas. I'm no expert to say the least. I was stuck on the back brake. Called the shop up and they told me to bring it in. They recommended me to have the whole bike looked at. Front brake back brakes all the above! I told them all I needed help with is back brakes. He said to look over bike would be $50. The bike cost $89 and was brand new. Just needed to put together before Christmas. Ended up leaving,going down the street and getting it repaired for $15. I have no doubt that this shop is good at what they do but for a simple repair on a kids bike look elsewhere. read more

During this coronavirus crisis my daughter needed her bike. Fortunately bicycle lab is staying open to help keep our bikes moving so we can combat cabin fever and get some exercise. The owner and assistant took every precaution. Only one customer is allowed at a time and they were both polite and efficient. Got me going in no time. Next time one of our bikes needs servicing I will be sure to return to bicycle lab. read more

I bought my bike in for a tire repair I didn't notice until today a week later Since I had not used my bike My pedometer is missing. They had my bike in a unprotected area in front Either they stole it or were careless And let a patron steel it. I don't recommend this shop! They did not protect my bike in their Possession. Further more they gave me the run Around when I called. The mechanic is nasty Hung up on me. The owner finally spoke To me and agreed to put on a cheap pedometer He had for free from a trade in Nothing like what I had before that was attached To the gears. If I come across any bikers I tell them Stay clear of this shop. They are crooks. They don't have cameras so your bike is not safe Beware. read more

Very impressed with the service here. After initially being told my flat tire would have to be repaired tomorrow, I showed up and Jeff decided he'd be able to take care of the tire on the spot. He was patient and answered my questions about biking, and shared a bit of his best practices for bike maintenance (how to lie it down in my car, how to tighten the wheel). First of all, I wish I had discovered Jeff and his bicycle lab sooner.. one of the kindest humans I have ever met (I work at sbux- I've met A LOT of people). I went in on my first visit (side note: I currently live a little less then 10 min away but went in 10 min before closing) looking for two things: a bolt for rear wheel and a bolt for the seat stem. The fact that one of the first things he asked about was ab price points (I'm moving 1800 miles west and am a little $trapped) he followed up with color options as he pulled out a 6x4 in cardboard box full of used tire bolts (in incredible condition- like, it wasn't even noticeable that the part was used). Okay, great.. So then! We get to the seat stem.. come to find out.. differs from bike to bike. To get the correct measurement, he needed the frame and stem. I only brought the rear wheel. He offered to keep his shop open so I could run home and he could properly fit the bolt to the seat stem. Such an incredibly kind and generous human. Hopefully I will cross paths in the future read more
