I took my car about 3 weeks ago and the detailing inside was okay. They couldn't get the stains but the cleaning was good. The outside trim that runs on the bottoms of the doors was removed to clean or they were just too rough when cleaning the car. Point is the bottom trim is falling off and I can't put it back because it's lose now. I didn't notice this until after I took it back from their lot. Never taking any car to these guys. I took two of my cars into for detailing. The inside and outside of the car detailing was fine. When I picked up my truck I noticed that my front truck mats were the wrong ones and the back mats were missing. The shop found my front truck mats but couldn't find my rear truck mats. They had put my rear truck mats into a wrong vehicle. I had to call several times for a follow up. They did replace my rear truck mats and offered me a free truck interior express wash for free on a Friday. We didn't notice until the next day on Saturday that the phone cord was missing the attachment to be able to use for our IPhone 15. I went to the shop on Monday and explained the situation. The person at the front desk said couldn't find it but would ask about it the next day as the people who worked on the truck were gone for the day. I still have not received a call back. read more

Asked if I was satisfied to leave a review, I paid $325 just for a car wash an a vacuum. Detail include all above, said "engine bay cleaning" which was not done. Also "stain removal / shampoo seats, carpets and headliner" none of that was done. Got a stain in the back seat that was left untouched, head liner still dirty. I called and they said engine bay cleaning was extra, then why is it on my receipt ? Also complain about headliner job not being done or stains removal wasn't done and she said oh bring it back, that's not the point it was suppose to be done already. They said it would take 6-8hrs since he was a exterior / interior cleaning they called me back within 4hrs tops. Waste of money, don't go there unless you want half a*s job. read more

I had been using the mobile service for a few years now. I had an appointment scheduled for June, but cancelled in advance with 2 messages on their voice mail due to the hot weather. Got a call from the receptionist the next day confirming my appointment that they were on the way. I told her I had cancelled and rescheduled my appointment to mid July. The day before my scheduled appointment and it was hour or less before they were closing, I received a call from Johnny. He told me that he needed to cancel my next day appointment, because his equipment was down and it needed to be sent out. I asked how long, he didn't know and really no apologies. He recommended another company to do the mobile service. The other service company did call me to schedule an appointment. Not more than 20 minutes later the receptionist calls me to cancel my next day appointment and informs me that "they are no longer doing mobile car service". They had gotten rid of their mobile cars a week ago! I mentioned that I got a call from Johnny saying something different. Clearly there is HUGE gap of lack of communication and honesty in EPIC. I could of been notified sooner when the mobile service was being discontinued and NOT day before and so late in the day. I would of preferred honesty than being lied too. If this is how they treat their customers, then I glad I found another company to do my mobile detailing and wants to work on keeping their customers happy! read more

Epic was booked about a month out when I called for an exterior detail but no problem for me as I figured any good business would have a lot of customers wanting in on their schedule. I took the first available and was put on the wait list if anyone cancelled. I was able to take a cancellation a few days sooner than planned. Communication was great, I was provided video before the polish went on and I was very pleased. Epic was able to get the terrible swirl marks, buffer marks and countless surface scratches the previous owner made by going through a Washman! Do not go to a drive thru car wash! Epic huh? Well I can tell you this right now, don't bring your stuff here if you want it done perfectly. Paid $250 for an engine bay clean, interior detail, and clean out of the trunk. ALSO THIS SEDAN WAS NOT "FILTHY" OR A HARD CASE IN ANY WAY. Take a look at the pictures, the engine was still so dirty that was the first Rag and that's just from taking it across the top of the motor, if I went a little deeper I probably would have ran out of rags. Also they did an okay job on the interior but upon closer inspection there is damage to the rear driver side door panel, and they didn't even clean the back window. I was driving away and I looked in my rearview mirror and here the gum that was left for my trip permit staring me back in the face. So they didn't even touch that. I open opened my trunk pulled up the flight between the trunk and the spare tire and it was filthy in there and they didn't even wipe it down, and love to stay in that I easily extracted with little bit of elbow grease a microfiber towel and some glass cleaner. Finally the door jambs, I'm used to places that take steam cleaner to get rid of all the gunk stuff that accumulate when hinges are greased. Nope just another amateur wipe down. You can post all kinds of fancy pictures of shiny exotic cars, and hopped-up ricers, but it don't mean shi*. Never going to go back there again, 250 is a lot of money for a job that doesn't require any extended buffing wheel work. And you guys have the car the entire day (10am - 5pm). Pathetic, and definitely not going to use these guys ever again. read more

Sounded like a good deal. But, the closer you look at the detail work the more you find issue with. Sorry to say they are not responsible for items that are "lost" during the detailing of your vehicle. Only half of the items that were in the ashtray were returned. I wouldn't miss the caribiner key ring, but I now have to cut off and replace three locks and get new back up keys for the boats and the ATV. I wish I had met the crew before dropping the truck off, I seriously doubt that any of them would pass a background check. BUYER BEWARE!!!! read more

I bought the car 2 weeks before and while at the dealership getting an additional keyfob programmed, it got mildly over sprayed with yellow paint. I was going to use my insurance and a body shop but was advised that all I needed was a polishing to remove the yellow paint. A body shop directed me to Epic. I took my black Chrysler 300 to Epic just after a carwash for an estimate on having some light yellow overspray removed from the right rear quarter of my car. I was given an estimate for $300 to remove the overspray and that would include polishing the entire exterior. It sounded very reasonable and less troublesome than involving my insurance, so I went for it and agreed to pay for it myself. When I went to pick up the car I noticed it was completely covered in a thick later of light green polish dust. I could not even see if the yellow spots had been removed, the dust was so thick. I started wiping the dust off the rear quarter with my white shirt to see if they had accomplished the overspray removal. There were still many yellow speckles of paint on the car. And now it had paste and dust everywhere. I went inside to talk to someone about how dusty the car was and poorly removed the overspray was removed. They tried to convince me it was "pollen". So I asked how much extra it would cost to have my car washed when they were done polishing it. They tried to convince me "they did wash it." I said that I see lots of missed details and would like them to try again. So they very abruptly took my key and said that " they would wipe it down again. Should only take 5 minutes". I waited 25 minutes, then I got to see my car again, cleaner. I could see all the white polish they left in every nick and cranny. Especially on the front end. They buffed thru the paint on the edge of my hood and tried to convince me that " their machine couldn't do that, they buff flat." All the minor imperfections in my black paintjob are now HIGHLIGHTED. And there are still yellow speckles even after they took a rag and spray bottle out to " make sure they are all gone." I asked them why it looks so much worse now. They tried to convince me "that is how it always is". They even tried to make me feel stupid for suggesting they should use black polish on a black car. They buffed thru paint that was used to repair the edge of a fender, now you can see the damage underneath. They tried to convince me that " if it had been repaired better, that wouldn't have happened." I openly admit, I got pretty upset by the excuses and blame shifting. I raised my voice higher than may have been necessary. I got very upset when they told me that "I was going to pay for it whether I liked it or not or I won't get back my car." It felt like they had a great deal of experience lying to customers and making excuses. My car looks much worse now than it did when I brought it to them. All I really wanted was the yellow speckles off. read more

Wow, bad job, I ask they take care of the rock chips on my hood before applying ceramic clear coat. Did not happen just excuses, still waiting to get it fixed. Doubtful it happen, they got my money and that's it. Not to mention they constantly change what they tell me and claim it is hearsay. That tells me they might have had legal issues regarding workmanship, quality and zero refund. Don't even ask also they try really hard to piss you off so you walk away without remedy. I was told to calm down and come back another time which was BS I was not angry. I was offended and felt I was treated this way due to being over 60, a disabled Veteran and Hispanic. I have no faith for n this company and believe they will call the police on me if I return asking to fix the issue or ask for a refund. Use caution and inspect your car very closely if you do business with them and video your conversation since they will claim it is hearsay. Out $1600 and a bad job. read more

-Update, they made things right. I doubt they would make the same mistake twice. Plan on using them soon. Disappointed this time around, used Epic in the past and was very happy with their work. When I first had someone out I believe he was one of the owners and he took his time and did a really good job on the boat. This time around I had them detail the paint of the same boat and two cars same day. The detailers were late and left the boat with unpolished wax, also left and both cars with too much tire shine on the tires to the point where the cars are covered with spots now of tire shine from it flinging off after driving. I think the guys that did this call may have been in too much of a hurry. With the growth of the company quality and detail of work has been left behind. read more

Had a 9 am appointment and Epic never got a chance to do my tint. I told Johnny if they can get it done and he said YES they can but never did. This is the 2nd time I make the appointment and turn out awful service. 1st time Johnny cancel saying his reception double booked. So I let that one go and try to give him a 2nd chance. Took my truck in to get water spots taking off my truck and windows, they scratched the windshield all up which now I need a new windshield, the very unprofessional owner Johnny, said it was like that when I brought it in,they didn't do it , nothing he could do about it just very unprofessional for an owner, I know for a 100% fact that it wasn't like that when I took it in, stopped at another detail shop they said it was from the grit in the product they use to get the water spots off or the process that they used, now I have to buy a new windshield, and good old Johnny boy has no care in the world about that, never ever taking any of my vehicles to these guys again, the fact he didn't even apologize didn't offer money back didn't say anything speaks volumes about how this place runs. I had my Black Fiesta ST paint corrected/Detailed at this location. I'm very hesitant to take my car to just any detailer. I did some research on reputable detailing shops around the Portland area and Epic Auto Detailing showed up with insanely good reviews. I looked further into their work and was impressed. So I took a shot and booked with them. I got my car back a couple days later. Upon looking over the paint, I noticed they did a fantastic job. My paint looks brand new which is extremely hard to do since it's a black car. To say the least I WOULD recommend this detailer to anybody who appreciates attention to detail. read more

Since moving to Portland, I haven't been impressed with the service I've received from many businesses. I can't tell you how many times I've scheduled and appointment, taken time off, and had no one show up. That said, I was really impressed with these guys. About 15 min before they were to show up, I received a call telling me that the were in traffic and would be a bit late. They were only 5 min late! When they got to my home, they were incredibly professional and did an amazing job on my husband's new Tesla and my old Jeep. This was a complete disappointment. They came to my house to detail my Eurovan which I thought was a nice perk. And the price was very reasonable. The outside work was fine. My filthy car was washed and waxed and looked great. But the inside was another story. Although they did remove some mold in the upholstery and elsewhere, the floors were barely cleaned and the back seat even had dog hair remaining! This was not detailing. It was just a quickie clean by 2 young amateurs. Worse was they were in such a hurry they damaged the horn on the steering wheel. I called the owner who arranged for them to come out and redo the interior. When I told him about the damage he was skeptical. Fast forward: They did come out to redo the van and it was an improvement, but there were still areas I had to go back and clean myself. And the damage was never addressed even though they admitted to doing it. You get what you pay for, I guess. In any case I do NOT recommend this company!! Maybe their in house cleaning is better, but the mobile service leaves much to be desired. I will not be using them again. read more

I took my car to Epic so they could look at my car and give an estimate on detailing it and polishing out dull patches of paint. One of the owners, Jorge Benavides, told me no problem they could make the entire car shine all over with no dull patches. I had them come to my house to do the work their since they offer a mobile detail service. About half way through the other co-owner Johnny Hernandez, who came to my house to do the work with another employee, told me he couldn't get the dull patches out of the paint on my car. They finished the detail job and still charged me the full $300. I emailed them 4 times and called and left voice messages twice saying I wasn't happy and asking them to do something about getting the car to shine all over as promised. Their website also states they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all of their detail work. They have not replied to any of my 4 emails or phone calls where I left voice messages. I sent emails to them on 8/15, 8/20, 8/28 and 9/8 of this year 2018. read more
