I have been here several times. The food is very good. It's so good that my husband and I decided to host our staff dinner here on 1/28/23. We made reservations for #14 ppl. Unfortunately only 7 were there on time as the rest were running late. The restaurant would not seat us until the entire party was there. We would not have minded if they sat us and we could order drinks and appetizers as we waited for the rest of the party to arrive. They could not even do that for us. The bar was packed with diners so that was not even an option. We waited outside in the cold for 30 minutes then decided to give up our table. Can you believe they charged us $10pp (total $140) as a no show??? They did tell me that they would charge $10pp for those who did not attend but we were there and if they sat us down, eventually the rest of the party would have shown up. We felt this was a real disservice as a restaurant in the hospitality industry. Never again. Beware to those who are thinking of hosting an event here. We really felt this was mishandled. Luckily, we were able to get a table a few feet down from Enzo's called Trattoria Zero Otto Nove. They really saved the evening. read more

Delish food. Had three appetizers, stuffed artichoke (sooo good) grilled octopus, and mussels. Service was friendly. The front of the restaurant is open to the sidewalk in nice weather which I enjoyed since I wanted to sit outside but my friend did not so it was sort of a compromise! read more

Stumbled on this place during our stay in the Bronx. For a Monday night it was pretty busy so right away I knew it was probably good. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, from the person who sat us, to the bartender, servers, and bussers, everyone was so friendly and always checking in. My son and I ordered the ravioli and margherita pizza to share. Authentic Italian taste, ravioli was cooked perfectly and the sauce tasted fresh. We got our food really quick too, and they give you complimentary bread made with olives while you're waiting. Would definitely recommend! read more

Wonderful pasta and a great meal. My wife and I came to Enzo's for dinner based on a recommendation from a friend and the food did not disappoint! I ordered the linguine with clams and it was delicious. I also sampled one of my wife's meatballs and it was outstanding. I would definitely return next time I'm looking for a good Italian dinner. I would make reservations next time for a weekend dinner. We arrived before the dinner crowd, but by the time we were leaving, the restaurant was full. We saw this restaurant on a YouTube Show , I wish I could give it more stars but let's just say it starts with service and the young man just sat us down and didn't really show interest , We noticed an older gentleman was serving another table and he was letting them know the specials on the menu what's good and so on . A pleasurable experience overall. Our Mother's Day table was in the back. A quick response to move us upfront a great first impression. Started with calamari, eggplant rollatini, cavatelli and broccoli rabe.....all solid and delicious. As far as salad goes...Hail Caesar and the extra anchovies!!!!! BE CAREFUL WHEN ORDERING FOOD TO GO I had ordered an appetizer of (Signature) fried meatballs to go @ $15.95 +tax What I got was burnt, overcooked and very dry meatballs (Inedible) Didn't discover this until I got home to Yonkers. Due to time of day (3pm) and heavy traffic I didn't return the food to the restaurant and request a refund. Enzo's had an email contact on their website for me to contact them about hosting my Mom's birthday party. They were incredibly responsive had a few great packages for us to help accommodate the 22 people coming. There was no detail forgotten about. The room we had was perfect! They let us stay all night until they closed and the wine was flowing all night. Might I add that the food was incredible. Everyone raved about every dish, and no one left hungry! Enzo's also let us bring our own cake. We had a ton of left overs and the staff kindly packed it all up and labeled all the food without asking! Everyone and everything at Enzo's was spectacular. Our server was awful. Unfortunately, this is what I have to take from the dining experience. He had his hands in his pockets the whole time schlepping around, watching the tv behind us instead of listening to us or looking at us. And then he never came back to the table from when the apps were placed down to us hunting him down for a check 45 minutes later. He never asked if we wanted more drinks, never asked how the food was or to even see if we were done. We had to walk around to find him just to get food boxed up and a check. He was just really arrogant, didn't care and clearly didn't want to be there. All of his answers consisted of grunts and shrugs. Look, buddy, if you don't want to be there...go home, because too many people work their asses off in the service industry just to get treated like crap by customers and a lot of those people could use your job right now and treat people like actual guests. It's a shame we'll probably never go back, because the food was good and the busser was fantastic. Aside from the food runner, who was eating behind his mask, when he delivered our entrees and the louse of a server, the other employees there seemed very nice and accommodating. I think the owner should take note of the fact that we would have spent another $50 on dessert and drinks if we were given the opportunity. Came in 6 deep on Easter Sunday and initially they had no tables available. The host and hostess through out a 2 hour wait which was not in the cards for us. As we turned for the door the gentleman asked us to wait a sec and see if he could move some things around. He did just that and saved Easter dinner. I had not been to Arthur Ave in well over 10 years and was excited to get some authentic Italian off the menu. We started with Clams Oregano and Mini Artichokes. All came out amazing and then each of us had either pasta or protein. My daughter had the Chicken special with ham and Asparagus and a side of Penne Alla Vodka. Both were amazing. The Branzino was also a stand out with Lemon and Capers. All Pasta was fresh and flavorful. I went for the Chicken Franchaise which was classic and super tender. No knife needed. Finished with dessert Chocolate Mousse Cake and Crème Brûlée was a great end to a wonderful meal. The service was great and they went the extra mile to seat us on a holiday. read more

Came here yesterday (Saturday evening) around 6pm and it was the perfect time before the major dinner rush on Arthur Ave after a gorgeous day. We got seated pretty quickly (for 2) on the patio, which was "indoor" but with large windows open - totally fine for us since we were OK with both indoor & outdoor seating. Though it was a bit loud with a large table of college kids, the food experience was great. Service was quick, pleasant & on point. We shared a ceaser salad (skippable) + stuffed artichoke which was giant & filled with meat & wine sauce to start. Delicious!! Easily sharable for 2-3 people. Then we split the chicken franchese & shrimp scampi with paccheri pasta. Both fantastic dishes, we were stuffed and probably could have eaten more. Highly recommend for a great meal in Bronx Little Italy. I've been to a few restaurants in the area & always try somewhere new, had been here years ago but have to say this was one the best Arthur Ave meals we've had in a long time!! read more

A bit overpriced, and a mixed bag of great food and mediocrity. -mozzarella salad served with tomatoes that were so unripe that they were more white than red. -drinks were strong but smallllllll. Really liked this place! We were a party of 9 for Sunday lunch; seated in a room towards the back overlooking a nice patio area which is probably delightful in the warmer months. Ate lunch here indoors today -- my first indoor meal since the pandemic began. My friend and I were both vaccinated and I hope the wait staff here was too because almost no one was masked. The meal was delicious. My friend had the lasagna special and I had the stuffed chicken, which was the Italian equivalent of chicken cordon bleu. It was all delicious! Love the place. Normally they are on point. Last week, had the Rustico Chicken. It was tough; not even chewy. The chef shouldn't have sent the Rustico Chicken out of the kitchen. Be warned the dish is chunks of chicken or chicken nuggets? not what i expected. Perhaps the waiter should have explained what I was getting when ordering. Overall the staff fell down on several counts. Chunks or not, if a chef can't cook chicken properly he/she needs to go back to school or his family or wherever he/she learned to cook. Unfortunately, I let the waiter know, a bit late as I had struggled through it. Rather than a gracious we'll fix that on your next visit or something more than an off hand: "You should have said something" I mean yea...i shudda but no one even stopped by to ask how it was. The wait staff was not the normal attentive staff I have experienced previously. They quickly grabbed an empty bread basket; we had to ask for more of the great olive bread to dip in the Edda EVOO. My guest had Pasta carbonara: it was excellent with Orchiette pasta. So thumbs up for that as well as the perfectly done calamari as our starter. read more

Another very good experience at Enzos of Arthur Avenue. I think my only negative comment about the experience was that we had to wait for our entire party to be there to be seated. I would have liked to had a nice drink but wasn't given the option. Other than that the experience was very good. The food is above average. Been going to Arthur avenue all my life and tonight was the first time I've ever bene to Enzo's! Can't believe it has taken me this long. Amazing atmosphere and real authentic Italian food. They hit it out of the park with the food. When someone can make a simple carbonara- they are legit and that's exactly what they did! Wonderful staff as well, everyone was so friendly. I wrote a long review when I was upset and deleted it. Enzo's is a great restaurant, but like so many others, doesn't always consider everyone with respect. I made a reservation for five for a friends reunion. I checked my reservation twice to avoid any issues, but upon arrival the hostess, maybe manager or owner, tried to seat us in a back passageway. You've got to be kidding me. It required an embarrassing negotiation in front of my friends to at least get a table set up in the overflow area. She never even offered the main dining room. So much more detail involved, but I'm trying to keep this short. Food was very good. Luis was a terrific server. Thanks Luis. Nice job! Overall experience was less than enjoyable. People with reservations, actually anyone, should be treated with respect and hospitality. Give me the best table available when I arrive and make me feel like you care about me as your guest. Why should I have to negotiate for a nice table location? I don't get it, but it happens too often in too many places. You're in the hospitality business, be hospitable! Mixed results. Expansive menu a bit overpriced but my middling review relates strictly to chicken scarpariello. Was very excited to try my favorite dish esp on the bone - what a downer ! Lemon breaded chicken with no tang, blah blah! Asked for cherry peppers and they brought side dish of peppers and actually surcharged me! Offsetting this, the mussels and pasta vongole were excellent and the bottle of wine we chose was delicious and fairly priced! Hence a mixed review read more
