The smell and piles of garbage at the entrance was atrocious we had to pay someone to clean and remove it. The inside smelling like pure marijuana and while having to clean finding reside and left behind drug bags. This entire experience was upsetting and extremely unprofessional I even took pictures and send it to the management and they deliberately ignore my messages. Do not waste your time or money on renting this hall. This is very sad because it is a space with potential just in the wrong hands.

There were tables set up as well which takes away from the space available. It's clean and they have a kitchen area for food prep with a large refrigerator. There are a few downsides to this space, including the steep staircase upon entry. If you have older guests, they may have difficulty descending the steps and if there is anyone who requires a wheelchair, that is definitely not going to happen at all. Parking in the area can be a little scant. There are only a few spots in front of the venue and since it's located in a neighborhood, you have to contend with residents taking all the nearby spots. We parked down the block and across a street which wasn't too bad. The main room feels a little cramp because the ceiling is quite low but the event in which we attended was small so it was not nearly as claustrophobic as is would be if the hosts has twice the amount of people. It's funny because last year a different girlfriend of mine and I visited this venue for her baby shower so when we received the invitation this time around, I immediately knew where we were headed. From what I remember, I believe they allow you to set up early the same day of your event and I believe there are fees if you want them to do the cleanup for you but don't take my word for it. I would definitely call and inquire. This is a nice spot for small gatherings like a child's party, baby, bridal and engagement showers.

I think there were about 11 tables with 8 seats each, and they all fit nicely. I think it's perfect if you're planning a small event but I wouldn't do more than 100 people unless you want it to look/feel cramped. There's a separate kitchen with a few tables and a refrigerator, which served to keep all the food and drinks. It's kind of small so it might get a little disorganized if you're doing a buffet. There's also a bathroom with two stalls which was very clean. Something to note is that there are very steep stairs to get into the venue which can be a challenge depending on your guests.

There is a deposit for the chair rental, which the owner explained was due to people having stolen chairs in the past. The ladies of PP are warm and thoughtful and run the show with perfection. They started with free play on the playground, craft projects and face/nail painting, then some fun group activities (dancing, parachute, bubbles, dress up) and very nicely spaced two courses in between play. There was plenty of fun for boys and girls even though it was a girl's party. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to plan a party in the area.

On an already difficult day, there was a clear lack of sensitivity and compassion. The food was equally disappointing: dry, fishy salmon, overcooked pepper steak, low-quality sausage -- overall gross. We also coordinate corporate events regularly, and based on this experience there is little to no chance we would book there again. Should've gone with my first instinct and booked Scavello's On The Island instead. Save yourself the frustration and book there.
