DON'T GO HERE!!!!!! Where do I begin. I was recommended this place from someone, as I am new in the area. I was a walk in the first time and got a simple dip power almond shaped set. They weren't necessarily nice but weren't rude. I could tell from the atmosphere that they have "regular" clients. The set was okay, decent enough for me to return after their vacation. When I decided to go back on a Friday around 3:30 for a refill and mani/pedi, she said they were full for the day and that I could schedule an appointment for 4pm on Saturday. I did just that. When I returned on Saturday they asked if I had an appointment before they instructed me to sit. I let them know, I had an appointment for a mani pedi and fill. I showed them the picture of the nails I wanted and she said she could do it. I had the picture up but she completely disregarded it, giving me all solid color nails and asking AT THE END, what designs. Also the shaping was straight trash. I asked for almond... I got oval. The nails are thick and curvy as well. I was never instructed to wash my hands either. They didn't clip my nails or clean them. I kept reminding her that I wanted a mani however that didn't happen at all. When she "finished" my nails she sent me to the pedi chair (if you want to use the massage features...the chairs have cracks in them). By far the WORST and most BASIC pedi I've ever had in my life ! They didn't put anything in the water, didn't have any options either. Just dipped my feet in water, polished my toes, and laid a hot towel on top. I made sure to pay attention to other peoples pedis and mine was not the same. When she sent me to the pedi chair my hands was still ashy, dry, and crusty from the acetone soak off. When I brought it up she said she was going to take care of it after the pedi. When the so called pedi was done she put oil on my hands and called it a day. The vibe I got is that, they service their regular white customers, making conversations with them and making sure they are comfortable, but they are not very inviting to everyone that walks in and they don't treat everyone the same. My nails are actually very pretty and the lady who did them was thorough in her work. The reason for this one star review is the way that i was treated when I walked in the salon & I believe i was overcharged for a fill in. When i walked in, I asked if there were any walk ins available and no one answered my question for maybe a solid 3-5 minutes. They talked to each other in their native language for a couple seconds but did not confirm if they had anyone available for several minutes. There was a worker doing her own pedicure, which i have no problem with, but simple communication can go a long way. I didn't ask for immediate service, just if there was anything available. The only reason i didn't turn around and walk straight out is because I was in a time crunch and didn't have time to try the other place down the road. When my service was completed, after being told to "go over there" by the man at the front when someone was available to service me, I was then charged $60 for a fill in. I thought that seemed extremely high but I'm not one to argue about the price of something, i will just pay it and not return if i don't like it. However, I'm new to the area and they don't have their prices listed so i have no clue what standard pricing is for this place. When i asked how much a full set would have been she then told me $55. She said mine was $60 because i had a chipped nail she had to fix and she SLIGHTLY filed my other nails down. It still doesn't add up to being more than a full set and if the pricing is that much higher, i should have been informed of the pricing, advised that a full set would be less expensive, or the transaction should have been itemized so i know exactly what I'm paying for. I will never return again and I hope they treat other new clients better than the way they treated me. read more

I use to come here years ago and decided to come back and give it another try. I've been back 3 times now and every time has been dissatisfying. Every tech I've gotten has been rude and snotty. They rush the job and it's sloppy. My last fill, a nail popped off days later. I went back for a repair and they charged me $5 for them to fix a nail that didn't last because of their shitty job in the first place. I've never been charged for a repair anywhere else before. This is my new nail place! They did a lovely job. My pink and white French dip looks natural, and polished. Exactly how I want my nails to look. I feel as though they care about what I wanted my nails to look like. Before and during my nails were shaped, as well as when the first nail was first dipped, I was I asked if it was what I wanted. Meaning throughout the entire process, I was asked if I was happy. My only regret is not taking a photo right after my nails were done. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. I came in with my bridal party, a total of 6 girls. We were sat away from each other while getting pedicures (we were pretty much the only people in the place). The techs were BEYOND rude, CLEARLY talking about us in their language (eye rolls included) and all of my nail gems fell off before the end of the night, DIDNT EVEN LAST UNTIL THE NEXT DAY, my wedding day! I felt SO uncomfortable I just kept telling the girl how sorry I was to inconvenience them (which obviously we didn't) when as soon as she collected her less than deserved generous tip, threw her coat on, had her phone up to her ear, and ran out the back door. I'm one of the most pickiest nail people you will meet. I have been to countless nail salons all around Metro Detroit only to leave disappointed 90 percent of the time. I was in the area and saw and Envy nails. I'm happy to say I made a good choice to stop. Andy, the nail tech was a sweetheart and told me he's been doing nails for 14 years. He started at the tender age of 15. He paid special attention and took his time to sculpt each nail nicely. They were packed and he could have rushed through to take more clients. I paid $30 for a full set of white tip acrylics and he took off my old shellac polish. Not a bad deal! read more

I been getting my nails done for 20 years and this place is horrible I went there for a total of three or four times and honestly never again will I go. They file your nails to much then they tell you it's ur nail growing in a bad shape. They want you to do other services other then what you went in for. they charge you extra for everything my nails didn't even least 2 weeks each time. And I had a broken nail each time which in my 20 years of getting my nails done I never had one broken nail ever. They tell you dip is better when it really isn't they just charged more and it starts to crack. My pedicures experience was just horrible i told them I didn't want them to use the shavers and they still used it. i don't even think they are allowed to use shavers anymore most places I went to before said they don't use them because it's not good for your skin. All the sudden I got something on the bottom of my foot since a came to this place I probably got it from this dirty place. Not pleasant at all no place for clients to sit while waiting. This last time that did it for me I told them I didn't want gel polish because it's extra I want regular polish. she didn't even put a top clear polish to help it last or anything. I'm really not sure why everyone had had such a poor experience? I've been here 3 times and I think they're all fantastic. I have tiny baby nails so finding a salon to do my nails and walk out of there not looking like I dipped the tips of my fingers in candle wax has always been a challenge. They look legit when I get them done here. Minus one star because although my nails always look GOOD, GREAT... and I'm totally coming back... they aren't perfect. 9/10. What can I say?
