I started to go to Kim's because they were $10 cheaper then my other salon. Well now that I've been going to Kim's for just under a year now I know why they are cheaper then the rest. The salon is dirty, they do not use tools in wrapped packages. Instead of using a file they use a drill on your nails. My nails have become so weak due to the drilling. The last time I was there the nail tech was coughing and wiping her nose with her hand. She didn't clean it and kept working on my nails. The nail tech was telling the nail tech next to her how mad her husband was because she got him sick and he was going to go get "tested". Well "tested" to me is he is getting tested for covid. If you are sick and work with the public stay home!!!! I'm returning back to my old salon and will gladly pay for a salon that is cleaner and for nail techs that wont drill my nails. read more

Nail salon is VERY clean and kept up by staff! Spa and stations are kept sanitary, cleaned between customers. Employees are welcoming right when customers walk in and ask how they can service you, they will service you as best as they can if you don't already have an appointment. Would definitely recommend for both mani/pedi! read more

10/10 recommend this salon! I've been going here for 5 years now and they truly are the best. I've had just about everyone there do my nails and I don't have any complaints. Danny, Tina, T, Julie, Andy, they're all so welcoming and friendly. My favorite is Lily/Lina as I've become a regular with her. I'm never afraid to tell her to change or fix something which can't be a stress at other places. She is always so willing and makes sure I love them before leaving the salon! read more

I have been going to this place for several years. Tina ( the older woman in several other reviews) was my usual technician. Went in for a first time powder job. Also requested a manicure be done due to fingernail issues. 4 days later powder was chipped on a couple of nails! Powder was not applied to the cuticles and nails weren't even filed evenly after paying $10 extra for a "manicure". Returned after 4 days for repair and was treated so rudely by Tia when I very politely asked for a repair. Will NOT RETURN AND DO NOT recommend! So many nail salons around! Will find another and recommend others do also! read more

Was in need of a pedicure and just tried this place on a whim. I'm glad I did! Reception was nice and I was sat right away- even without an appointment in a Saturday afternoon. They were busy, but fully staffed. I was looking for a reasonable pedicure (around $40), but really wanted a leg scrub (my favorite part). They have 3 different pedicures: Basic $25, Mid-range $30, and the deluxe $37. I was pleasantly surprised to find the deluxe for only $37 included leg scrub AND mask! The whole session took about 45 mins as my feer werent really that bad, but nothing felt rushed- especially for the price. I have paid more for more time, but was more than happy with service and pedi so far. Hopefully it wears nicely, too read more

I have been coming here for years, but my recent experiences with Lisa have been top notch. She does a great job with both manicures and pedicures and she is my go to for when my eyebrows need waxing. She always takes her time and does such a good job. I don't want to go anywhere else. read more

First time I went I saw tia it was great. She was busy so I got a different older lady, I asked for dip nails and she did shellac i told her twice i wanted dip nails with almond shape instead she did full set with shellac and tried to convince me this was dip. I've done dip many times ‍ and know the difference. She then proceeded to tell me that my nail beds were to pink so that's why the color wasnt coming out correctly. Later I saw my nails had spots that weren't painted when I pointed it out to her she said that's because my skin is to close to my nails and wouldnt fix it. After I finished she said $38 when I went to pay the guy said $48 because of the shape and because I did a full set. Which isnt even what I wanted. It's been 3 days and the nails are chipping. All in all I wouldnt recommend going here read more

I have recently stopped going here. The girl I used to go to has left and the people working there don't seem to know what they are doing. My nails were breaking off and chipping and I don't do anything rough for this to happen. And when I would go to get them filled they would charge extra to fix. If they were doing an outstanding job and I was hard on my nails I would understand but I work in an office. Also the nail polish seems to be cheap. I think they are replacing cheap polish and putting it in the OPI bottles. I will get a french manicure and that same day the white will have already been chipped off. Also they aren't making sure they are smooth so when you look at the nail from the top you can see where it's bumpy. I'm paying to have my nails done and to look nice. If I wanted them to look like I did them in a rush I would do them myself. My final two complaints is that I've made appointments and still waiting 20 minutes to sit down. This wasn't because they had a ton of customers but because they didn't have enough staff. My last complaint would be that it's dirty. The place is fairly new and doesn't look like it's being kept up with. The walls and floors are dirty. I don't plan on returning to this salon. read more

I came here on a whim after my regular salon was rude about a same day appointment (they do walk-ins & the person that came in after me was able to get in!!!). I was told they don't have time for "just a color change anytime soon" unless I wanted a full pedicure. Rude way to try to upsell. Walked in to Kim's with no appointment, did not have to deal with an attitude, and they were able to fit me in right away. Everyone was polite & professional. Will be back! read more

I'm pretty satisfied with them. I went 14 days til I needed a good fill in, My middle nails were started to lift a little. Went in for the full and had the younger lady fill them and I think I'll return to her next time. She was a little more talkative and friendlier than the one who applied My first set. read more

I have gone to Kim's for quite some time without issues, but this last time, the electric file, used to sand down acrylic nails, was used on my cuticles. This resulted in 4 bloodied cuticles that were sensitive for days afterwards. It also resulted in multiple hangnails forming after the appointment. Oh my goodness, seriously my new favorite salon. I went and saw Ryan, he did great with my gel mani! He even told me that the last place I went to really damaged my nail beds and that with time they should look better for a wedding I have coming up. My nails look so good and my cuticles are trimmed. They used autoclaved instruments and that showed me how clean everything was. Will be going back again in two weeks. read more

Usually I'm nervous about getting my nails done close to closing time for any salon, I've had people rush and not do a good job before. I had a fine experience when getting my nails done, but my shellac manicure chipped two days after. I called to make an appointment to have my nail fixed and when I showed up for my appointment they told me I never made one. They asked me to come back in an hour which I couldn't do, hence why I made an appointment in the first place. Definitely will not go back and would not recommend! I was very disappointed with my experience here. I went in for a fill in. I usually go out to Troy to get my nails done but I didn't have time for that so I decided to go next door, and I won't be back!! The young guy who did my nails was very rude and didn't speak much English. In the middle of doing my nails he said "pay me now" which caught me by surprise because he didn't ask nicely, he pretty much demanded it. I asked him to fix the air bubbles on my nails & the fact that they were so bumpy and he said that's how my nails are. Every nail is a different shape, he painted over them so quickly and unevenly leaving my nails with a whole bunch of air bubbles & bumpy surfaces. Quite possibly the worst shellac polish change I have ever had. The lady was an older middle aged woman who was just so sloppy. I left with polish all over my fingers and stuck under the tips of my nails. Just plain messy, it was my first time here and will never go back! read more

Worst manicure I have ever had. I went in to get a shellac manicure, and the technician got polish all over my cuticles. This caused me to have to pick the polish off my cuticles which in turn caused the polish to chip. She also failed to take off the polish that was still on my nails prior to painting them, even when I asked her to. First and last time I will ever go there. read more

Got a fill in on a set that was done poorly at another salon and were already lifting after less than a week after getting them done. The lady who did them was amazing! She went back and fixed small details, reshaped all my nails, and i got exactly the look I was going for. Very friendly people and I will be returning again! read more

I went last week for a pedicure and it was the worst pedicure experience I've ever had! i had a young lady who gave me my pedicure ; first off she put scolding hot water in the foot tub not once but twice ! I said that too hot and it was so hot I had to put my feet aside the until it cooled off , so I wasn't even able to enjoy the water , then she starts my pedicure and it's very rushed ; mind you it's not busy , there is not a line of people waiting to get pedicures ; she is very rough filing my nails , I say ouch that hurts several times ; she continues to proceed , then we get to the scrapping of my bottom of my feet , I tell her I am very tickelish and please be gentle she is scrubbing HARD. and to make matters worse I pull my feet back and she grabs my foot forced and continues scrapping , wait there's more! Then we get to the part where they massage your feet ; she is rubbing the same part on my foot over and over and it hurts and getting raw , THEN. its time for the hot towel , she puts A SCOLDING HOT towel on my feet to the point I say it's hot!! She says oh I'm sorry and takes it off ; I had burn marks and sores on my feet days after !!! it was so bad I just wanted to get out of there ASAP ! I didn't tip her , and I always tip and tip generously!! Now I will say the lady that did my sister pedicure and her eyebrows was very professional and good ! so I'm not sure if it's just this particular young lady or not but I almost went back to ask for a refund to show the burn marks but I didn't want to step foot in that place ever again. !! read more

If I could I would put 0 stars. Very very terrible. No customer service whatsoever. A simple mani and pedi took 2 hours to get done. It seemed like phone calls were more important then doing my toes (which is fine but not when I had to wait and hour and a half!!)
