I just went here for the first time this morning and I think I found my new nail place! Please excuse my swollen pudgy hands, but they did such a great job with my nails! I did coffin shaped acrylics with shellac in the color "Dovetail". They were so friendly and professional. The woman who did mine and my sister's nails was also super proficient and finished her dip within 15 minutes! This is only my second time getting acrylics (first time was at a different place on 26 mile) but I like these ones so much more! They are able to make them so much thinner than the place I went to before. We also met 2 girls there that get nail art done and I think that's what I'll do next Thank you so much! Was hoping to spend some time with my sisters getting pampered with pedicures but not today. As we got into our chairs I was not greeted or asked which pedicure I wanted. I was planning on splurging and getting the most expensive pedicure but turns out i got the cheapest and quickest. I timed it started at 1:58- 2:11 start to finish. Hardly got a massage or pumice stone scrub. After she finished she just left never to be seen till we paid. I sat there for about 20 min while my sisters were still getting their massages. I would not personally recommend this business. My sister and I came in last week for two pedicures and had the most peculiar experience. It did appear that they were understaffed, as we needed to do our appointments one after another, instead both at the same time, which worked out okay, but was unanticipated considering that we did specify that we had two people. My sister went first, and Kevin took care of her. He would not speak to us and was watching Roblox with his headphones on the whole time. When exfoliating her feet, he went too hard and her toe started bleeding (see pic). The painting part itself looks good, but it was smudged and she called him back over to touch it up. As per mine, I had a woman do mine around 30 minutes into the appointment when she was done with her client. I was excited because I had been watching her with her previous customer and she seemed so amicable. When she came over, I asked her if she was going to do the full exfoliation, cuticle cutting etc (because I had an ingrown toenail that was hurting me) and she started yelling at me that what I was asking her to do would be illegal and she was not permitted to do. Obviously, there was some miscommunication, but I did not appreciate being yelled at. Once she understood what I was asking, she settled down, and I tried to make conversation but she wouldn't talk to me which was overall awkward. I do like how mine turned out, but I did not enjoy how either of us were treated. We did get out in an hour which worked out, but overall, the customer service and communication aspects were incredibly lacking. We chose to go here because they were open on Sundays, but if you're looking in the area for a nail salon on another day, I feel that there are a variety of alternatives that are better. My sister's toe is starting to scab now, but we were concerned about it getting infected and we did need to use a bandaid afterwards. The one thing I will give them is that I changed my mind from a manicure to a pedicure when I came in and they did not care about it that. read more

Just got my French manicure today. Polish already lifting after less than 4 hours. The nail tech was not friendly but not rude either. My experience was not horrible but not enjoyable either. There was no nail dryer, I was only told to dry over a mini fan. I was left alone drying my fingers over this mini fan. Felt awkward and so I left. I made an appointment for manicure with dip powder nails and acrylic tips and they were able to get me in the same day. The place was clean and had a great ambiance. Everyone wore masks and there were glass shields between the technicians and the customers. People were dropping in without appointments and were getting serviced. Lolly did my nails and did a fabulous job! I have never had someone be so gentle with my cuticles and nails. Lolly helped me figure out a style that worked for me and made sure I was aware of pricing throughout the process. She was so precise, I would definitely return to her in the future for dip or gel. Nail Lounge is so-so. I wasn't completely wowed by the experience, but it wasn't awful. I'll explain below Pros: It was very, very clean. PPE was used and they social distanced all the customers. There was a ton of colours to choose from, both regular polish, shellac and dip powder. The ambiance was nice and the front desk attendant was SO sweet. Ugh, give that girl a RAISE! Cons: I made an appt with the owner, but he passed me off to another employee (Carol) because he was running behind. I would have preferred being called, and offered the choice on whether I wanted to reschedule or wait for him to finish his job to fit me in. The nail tech that I was paired with, she did a good job of cleaning up my nails e.g. cuticles, scrubbing my heels. However, the paint job was rushed. And I'm used to have my hands lotioned during the mani; perhaps they don't do that, but I found it to be odd. I was not happy with the final results. Overall, I'd give it a 3 out of 5 stars. I don't think I'd go back, but if you want a basic mani/pedi, I'd say go for it. read more

I really really hate switching up nail salons but I was desperate and Nail Lounge was able to get me in, so let's discuss my experience. Per Yelp reviews, I was a little hesitant but I went on their instagram and wow! Their work speaks for itself. Anyway, I had an appt with Tom and when I arrived, Aubrey wrapped my nails and got me some water. I was being observant of the place because, well.. it's who I am ‍ - such a cute place! Super clean and it was a cozy vibe. Tom came over and I showed him what I wanted to do and he helped me choose a color that would look best for the look. We chatted, had an overall fun conversation and I left LOVING my nails. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5, is because I like to rate my experience based off a few visits- not just one. Nail tech barely cut my cuticles, but snipped off part of my thumb. She cut my nails way shorter than requested, and when I asked for oval nails i received a terrible attempt at stiletto. They are jagged and look chipped. She also did not paint the fronr of the nail so they chipped the next day. she did so few layers my nails look thin and already peeled. I got these done 4 days ago. I wish I could give 0 stars out of 5 because that was how disappointing the entire experience at this salon was. I've been getting my nails done for 4 years and have visited many salons, yet none of them have been unpleasant. Nail Lounge was the worst. The nail tech, Anna, was extremely rude, did not listen to me or pay attention to the fact that she was scraping my cuticles so hard that they hurt at the smallest touch. I have never had to go back to a salon to redo my nails, but there's a first time for everything. I was met with a hostile response and the owner did not care enough to actually listen to the fact that I was unhappy with my nails. Apparently this salon charges $5 if you want a coffin shape for your nails. Anyways, this was one of the worst salons I've been to and charging $51 for the tech to half-ass her work was upsetting. It feels like a waste of money. Edit: I want to say that the owner did reach out to me after my review and I truly appreciate that. Asked for dip. They cracked after 5 days when dip usually lasts 3-4 weeks for me. The quality was not there. I asked to get them redone and they did, but the tech made several mistakes such as: cutting right through the dip AND my nail instead of taking them all off and redoing them, one of my nails was still wet and they drilled on the wet dip, when he cut my pinkie nail down the dip on top cracked and instead of redoing the entire nail...he added dip to the cracked part and continued. There was no cleanup once I was done either, they left me with black smudges all over my hands and under my nails. This place was recommended to me, but I will be sticking with my OG salon from now on. read more

So they banned my 16 year old daughter because after paying $65 and her nails weren't done correctly they said she was banned from being serviced. She called several times to make an appointment and when she said her name they said they couldn't service her, she wasn't allowed to go back. If this is a racial profile than I'm not sure what is. Went to get a PEDICURE and was charged 45$ for a Shellac polish that I DID NOT ask for. When asked why I was charged so much I was told, " It was our misunderstanding but that's the charge". First and last visit !! The girl who put my acrylic nails on I think was her first time . I told her I wanted the shape rounded. Once she put on the nails she started clipping the sides think I wanted pointed. I told her no someone else stepped in not once twice to get the shape I wanted.
