Had manicure on a Monday and by Thursday I had 2 nails chipping. Went back and they "fixed" them. 1 day later other nails were chipped. Had a salon in Houston where my manicures lasted 2 to 3 weeks. Never going back there. I will keep looking. read more

If you are coming here for a quick fix; just go somewhere else. I couldn't get in to my normal nail tech so I called and made an appointment. I showed up a few minutes before my scheduled appointment and they sat me in a chair about 10 minutes after my appointment time. No biggie...post covid you just need to be patient. It took about 1 hour and 30 minutes to get my hands done alone. They kept interrupting my nails to help other clients, answer the phones and then at one point he started working on someone else's pedicure while I was only three nails finished. When I started to complain; someone else came over to finish but did a horrible job on my nails. My nail polish was very thick and any one of my nieces could have done a better job. I am a very understanding person normally but this took three times as long and they did a crappy job. Stay away and go to your normal place! read more

If i could give this place 0 stars i would. i waited an HOUR past my appointment time just for them to accept 3 walk ins before me. they never addressed me they just kept telling me to wait. I would appreciate it if a owner would get ahold of me today, message me on here.. Was in for an appointment at one. Waited a day for a response trying avoid leaving a bad review. My nail tech refused to give me new tips, piled on acrylic and tried to shape them from there, he did a horrible job, they are chunky and bulky and not a good look. Aside from that, he cut the product, RIGHT in front of me. I got my nails done at 1 pm, these are my nails at 330 pm. All i did was leave and shower. Never had this problem with any other place. To top it off, look at the reference photo and look at my nails (aside from asking to not put the studs) it is horrible. Amazing local nail salon! Capable of harder designs, and super unique designs. I came in with an entire pinterest board of ideas and they were very open minded to helping me accomplish whichever design I chose. I went with a more simple white/rhinestone design and my nail tech was AMAZING! He was so talented! His name was Timmy, I highly recommend him. He paid very close attention to detail and corrected any small thing he noticed. This is one of the highest quality sets I've had, and for a price that didn't break the bank. I will be back for sure! Lady broke one of my nails and tried to fix it and it ended up breaking 4 days later since the acrylic was to thin. Lots of indentations in the nails so not a smooth finish. I stopped in at the Le Nails on the spur the moment. Fortunately, they were not busy as it was mid afternoon on Tuesday. After choosing my color for my pedicure I was seated immediately in the pedicure chair. Deena gave me an excellent pedicure along with brief foot and leg massage. She made sure I was comfortable and that the water was the right temperature. We had an excellent conversation although I could've also just had quiet had I wanted. Tina is very kind and professional. Entire salon is clean, airy and comfortable. Because they are friendly and kind, the salon, as well as their customers, is also friendly. I went the day before my engagement and wanted a full set with French tips. They quoted me $32 over the phone. I made an appointment with someone specific who was highly recommended by others and when I showed up she wasn't there. A guy did my nails and literally couldn't understand what I wanted so I showed him a picture. He then did a horrible job and charged me $50. The white was too low and when I would try to tell him I didn't like the way he was doing it he just ignored me and didn't even respond. I left and had to go home and file, buff, and repaint my nails. There wasn't even an even layer of thickness to the acrylic. He clearly didn't care and was rude. Came in with a friend to get a pedicure wanted to get acrylic on my toes and the women tried to tell me that's not what I wanted or couldn't afford so I came in all they did was put my feet in the water and expected me to pay 60$ just for them to put my feet in the water my friend didn't pay because that's all they did for us was put our feet in the water would not recommend still very upset at the fact I had to pay just for getting my toes put in a tub of water not to mention I had an appointment and she kept taking walk in's while she had someone else washing my feet read more

I have been searching for a good nail salon in my area for so long now and after reading all the positive reviews I thought i'd give Le Nails a shot. I went in for a shellac manicure. The guy seemed really rushed - did not touch my cuticles - and did a bad job on the polish. When he was done I had to point out an obvious bump on one nail which he proceeded to file with the electric nail file and then told me i was all set....with an obvious white mark left on my polish where he had filed!! I had to point out the white mark to him and he then applied more top coat to cover it up. Just a bad job overall as I can also see the whites at the bottom of my nails and color is inconsistent. Not to mention the salon was pretty dirty. My search continues.......... read more

I have been going to this nail shop since about 2010-2011. I truly loved the atmosphere. I'm very simple and typically get the same service constantly. I go there so often my husband buys me gift certificates frequently from them to get my nails and toes done. I typically prefer Lynn to do my nails, due to her designs but she wasn't there for a while so I allowed others to do them. The last two times I went the young man put such a thin layer of shellac on my nails in which I kept telling him, it needs to be thicker. He didn't do it so as I left, the next day I went to work and my nails were chipping already. I went back to get them fixed. They had him fix them. Still was not too happy. So the next time, this past Wednesday, I decided I'd make an appointment with Lynn. They told me she was free from 12:30 until closing, no appointments. So I offered to go at 1:00 to give her more time, the young lady on the phone was adamant that12:30 was enough time. So i got there on time and they didn't start on me until 1. She rushed the pedicure, and when it was time to do the shellac, there was an older white lady who came in after me sitting in Lynn's chair. I basically was asked to wait for Lynn to do the lady's nails, which pissed me off. I made the appointment so I didn't expect to wait or to have someone go ahead of me. I also had somewhere to be. Once she finally started on my nails, she could tell I was mad & I know she mentioned it to the other younger guy who tends to act like the owner Andy, because she said something to him & motioned in my direction with the nail tool, as I'm sitting right in front of her. They spoke in their languange, and his response seemed to be a blow off, as if me being upset didn't matter. Well she messed up. I'd told her 3-4 times shellac & a design on one finger of each hand. She put shellac on four fingers and just designed one, without the shellac. So the nail with the design on it was thin, chipping and peeling by the next day. WHO DOES THAT?! I was so mad I just wanted to pay & get the hell out of there. I'm not rude so I still left a tip. But she didn't deserve it. I ended up going to a new place yesterday, which was Friday, to have them put shellac on the nail that she didn't do, with a design. They charged me $5. I was satisfied. I will not be going back to this establishment. I'm done! The treatment was just not okay. I'm very disappointed and unhappy with my last few visits. The owner Andy and his wife or ex wife, very polite and friendly, but they need to honor their appointments and customers who have been going there and referring people to them for years. I have been going to Le Nails on Lapeer Road since they opened. Then I moved to Berkley in 2012 and continue to drive to Lake Orion for my mani and pedi. This salon is so clean, reasonably priced, no wait (if you have an appointment), the service is great and every technician does a fantastic job. Several of my friends and neighbors have gone there for years as well and everyone is satisfied. Do not go here! The super long waits are understandable but the non stop creepy comments put me over the edge. At first I ignored the comments because they seemed innocent but by the end I was very uncomfortable. Telling other customers I'm "hot" and that I'm his girlfriend, saying my boyfriend would kick his ass, asking if he can drive me back to work, saying he will carry me to my car, and plenty more. I've been going to Le Nails at this location for a few years and they always do a great job. Andy in particular usually does my nails and is hilarious! He works quickly and is accommodating. I got my nails done on vacation in San Diego and when I came back for a fix, he told me my nails were already lifting and were at risk for nail fungus! I'm glad he told me because I decided to have them redone. He assured me they would be done in time (since I had somewhere to be). He re-did my nails in pink and white and only charged me for the normal full set with polish. Also, I'm a nail biter with very short nails. I LOVE having long nails but always get lectured by the nail technician how I shouldn't have them since I "won't be able to function" or "they'll break quicky". I know this is partially true but want what I want. Andy told me he gets that I want long nails and as the customer, get what I want. He warned me about breaking. But did not keep going on about it. A girlfriend and I came here this past Saturday on a whim to get manicures and pedicures done before a wedding we were attending in the evening. Even though they were extremely busy (lots of weddings in the area!), they kindly squeezed us in after a wait (in order for us to sit next to each other in the spa chairs). They were fantastic and, more importantly, thorough! I was from out of town visiting, and nowhere in Naples (where I currently live) that I've found is this good. From the exfoliation scrub, to the hot towels, it was all excellent. It reminded me of my old Chicago nail salon I went to for years. My (pregnant) friend also really appreciated the accompanied foot massage. Deena, who is co-owner with her hilarious husband, is the one who did my nails. She is so incredibly sweet, and I could have sat there and talked with her for at least another couple hours. the men were cracking jokes with all the customers and you could tell all the employees are super friendly and familiar with regulars. I hope to have the time to return here when I come back to visit friends again. tl;dr: get your nails done here! they are precise, thorough, and awesome. i want this place to get as busy as possible so Deena and her husband could spend a lot more family time with her son :) read more

I scheduled an appointment a month in advance to get manis/pedis for my sister and her bridemaids and it was the worst experience I've had at a nail salon. It was super busy when we arrived and they did not honor our appointments. Our appointment was scheduled for 1 p.m. and it was 1:45-2 p.m. by the time they took the first girl back. They actually had one nail tech going back and forth between two of our girls so they could take in more walk-ins. By the time the last girl in our group was done we had been there for at least 3 hours. I would not recommend coming here with a bridal party even if you make appoinment. I will say the shellac last a long time compared to other salons that I've been to. read more
