When we started, I settled into the massage chair ready for some spa time. Instead, she loudly turned on a sitcom on the TV. She was watching the TV intermittently while doing my nails. My feet were still somewhat calloused and my cuticles not pushed back and trimmed enough. My toes look like the nail polish has grown out and looks like the pedicure is older than it is. She aggressively scrubbed my legs while watching TV to the point I had to jump and tell her to stop. No lotion afterwards. If you're looking for an "at home" experience this would work for you. I was looking for a spa experience, especially with the prices that they charge.

My nail tech Tara Will literally try anything I pointed to out of a Cosmo magazine, and it ends up coming out better than what I'd hoped for every time. I get shellac on my fingers and toes-not all techs like to do this-but it lasts for 2 to 3 weeks on my fingers and 4 to 6 weeks on my toes. Of course the skill level of the tech is important, but some brands last longer on me than others so the trick is to find the right one.
