He was very informative with his knowledge on my trees and shrubs needs for care now and for the future. He gave me a lot of suggestions, offered his additional services, while doing the estimate for the work needed to be done. His pricing was great and discounts he gave me. I enjoyed the pleasure of speaking with him and signed my agreement for services to be done by Environmental Tree Care as soon as he could schedule the work. It's important to me to have great pricing, and a knowledgeable experience person to speak with comfort ability about my needs of service. He assured me of his crew coming to do the work were experienced that he would send out to preform the work. Being a homeowner you need a list of trustworthy people and business that will help you out in your time of need. Environmental Tree Care is a great example of one of those business. I have used their services twice now. I ordered a cord of wood last fall. It was was delivered on time and I was very satisfied. The second time we had some branches fall during the last big wet snowstorm of the year. I requested a FREE estimate and it was very reasonable. I scheduled the job the next day. Getting the branches removed was a bit of an emergency because one fell in a neighbor's yard who wanted it gone ASAP. Ken, the owner personally made sure that the job was done quickly and professionally. The branches were removed within 24 hours of scheduling. I've been working with Environmental Tree Care and Ken for at least 10 years. I've worked with them on both my own residence and at numerous HOA properties that I'm associated with. ETC has always provided excellent work at a competitive price. They always accommodate the homeowner's requests/needs/concerns. We recently had an old tree removed from our yard and a new tree installed in its place. ETC did an excellent, professional and safe job of removing the old tree and grinding the stump, which was situated on top of our gas line. They planted the new tree, taking care to position it so that the best side was facing the street and made sure the tree was completely straight. The new tree they brought to be planted was an excellent choice. It has a beautiful shape, is very healthy and is already beginning to bloom. Environmental Tree Care is amazing! We have a Maple Norwood in the front yard that was starting to die and we weren't sure if we would be able to save it as we were advised they are very temperamental and high maintenance trees. We had someone come out to fertilize it 3 times over the last 6 or 7 months and since it was during the winter time we were told we won't know if the fertilization worked until spring time. Once spring came around we noticed some blossoms starting to grow which had me very excited and hopeful. Not only did the tree come back to life, it has way more leaves and is much healthier than before the treatments. I highly recommend Environmental Tree Care and will be using them for all my other tree needs. I have used this company for 5 seasons. Always paid my invoice within a few days. This last treatment March I owed 725.00 for elm bug spray. Within couple weeks I could only pay 200.00 towards my bill. Adrianna Told me you have 30 days to pay the balance or we will send you to collections. She was very rude to me! What is wrong with letting a loyal customer set up a payment plan for 525.00? I will not use this company anymore. Beware of rude customer service from this business! Also their tree pruning is horrible. They left small twigs on our trees. Resulting in branches breaking off in heavy snowstorms and strong winds. read more

This company did a fabulous job of removing a very large difficult Multi-trunk silver maple in our backyard. The bottom of the trunk was 53 inches wide. The crews were professional and completely cleaned up everything when finished. Another crew came and ground out the large stump. They said it was the largest trunk he ever ground out. Also their bid was the best bid out of three bids by a long shot. They also did a nice job pruning a red maple in our front yard. Today the crew came to remove the huge cottonwood that had been hit by lightning. The man that climbed the tree and did the cutting was amazing. The trees were SO over grown and to be honest I didn't know what kind of trees we had or what needed to be done. They educated me and did such a great job on the trees. We had Environmental Tree Care trim two huge ash trees two years ago (2021) when we couldn't get a response from other professionals due to the pandemic. We also had them treat both trees for ash borers. Today they returned for a second ash borer treatment. All work has been completed as scheduled, competitively priced, and with high quality. I got quotes from 5 different companies, and while I don't always go with the cheapest, ETC was the cheapest and is fully licensed and insured. The guy tailgated me for about a mile on Hampden, and when I got off on Sheridan he followed me, stopping inches short of running into my car.
