From the start, my experience with Environix was a positive one. My request for information was answered immediately. Dustin came to do the inspection and estimate, and the work commenced as soon as I agreed to the bid. Everything was done with integrity, transparency, and precision. I felt immediate trust working with Dustin and now fully understand his answer to my question about why he enjoys his work...that he can identify problems and fix them. I, too, am glad that he could identify the problems and fix them. His experience and expertise turned a most distressing situation into a pleasant one. After the death of a dear friend, I needed to prepare the house to go on the market. Environix took over the very difficult, overwhelming, and sad task of emptying the home. They then began the work of mold remediation and finished the job leaving the house ready for the contractors who would restore the home to its former glory. I greatly appreciated all the care and respect that the Environix team showed to the house and its former owner. Dustin, Environix's inspector, was very polite, helpful and professional. He answered all of my questions. It was a relief to learn that there was no serious mold problem in my house. Dustin said that all I need to do is clean off visible mold on the interior surface of my garage doors and along a few window frames with a solution of borax and water. I am glad that I paid extra to have Dustin check my attic and crawl space and be advised that there were no mold problems in those areas. I paid $648 for a complete house test which seemed a bit pricey for 2 1/2 hours of inspection but I don't know what other companies charge. I chose Evironix based on the good reviews from previous customers on Angie's List. I was impressed with the written report that I received from Dustin. It had mold test evaluations for each area, some photos of areas of interest, air quality tests and recommendation for a specific fan to use in one bathroom to help with humidity and air flow, etc. I have had a very good experience with Environix and its inspector, Dustin, and would highly recommend their services. read more

I can't say enough about this company. They did an outstanding job from beginning to end. We had a fairly complicated project with a dishwasher leak which had gone under the kitchen flooring. It had also leaked into our main bathroom wall as well as into our laundry room downstairs. Chris and Mitch did a fabulous job and they were so professional. It's hard to have strangers working in your home but they made us feel totally comfortable. They were both very hard workers. Jodie and Kathy in the office are also outstanding. They always answer the phone and very helpful. They both are so easy to work with. And Alan helped by coming by and checking everything out and making sure the paperwork showing the remediation results was complete. We are honored and pleased to submit a recommendation for Environix. They arrived on time, provided a very thorough report, and completed the work beyond our expectations without leaving a mess. The quality that makes them stand out is their COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE. In accordance with our agreement, we hired a roofing company to install an externally baffled ridge vent. Fortunately, our Environix inspector informed us that the roofers hadn't installed the product requested. It took 4 tries to get the right vent installed and Environix stayed on the job until it was right. We also learned from Environix that only 1 of 4 bathroom vents was vented through the roof PLUS 2 vents were boxed in requiring additional demolition. Wow-- what a great company and great knowledge staff. We had Dustin come out as had a problem with musty smell. We had had another company look at it a year earlier and they basically did not do much and had no solutions.
