This place isn't super fancy and doesn't have amazing decor, but it is clean, the nail technicians are very pleasant and they really did a good job on our nails. When we walked in there was only one other person getting a manicure. No wait. My gel manicure looks great and our cuticles were cut expertly. Great massage too (a little extra). Entice Nails is exactly what I've been looking for since moving to NY! I use to go to Primp n Polish but since stopped doing nail art to save $. Entice Nails does an excellent, detailed gel mani ($25) and pedi ($20) for such a good price. It's 15% off right now because of the grand opening. The salon isn't super fancy and they don't have jet pedicure stations or massage chairs but I'm willing to compromise to save $40 per visit. Rose is the sweetest, I suggest asking for her! read more

Worst nail experience I've ever had. I had to coach my tech through making my nails all one length and the same shape. Took several tries and they never became even so I just gave up. She didn't buff when ends so they were left completely jaded with the polish already chipping off. Didn't put polish all the way up to my nail bed. Made 2 cuticles bleed and put NAIL POLISH REMOVER on them to wipe the blood off...stung like hell! Tried to sneakily up-sell me multiple times and trick me into paying for a massage, callus removal, etc, even after I said multiple times what I wanted done and confirmed the total price. The woman who tried to fix her job killed a cockroach on the ground with her foot right in front of me and then never picked it up. Unclean, unprofessional, and unskilled. This place was awful. I went in not knowing they didn't have dip even though theY had the powder for dip everywhere. Anyway I just opted for them to take my Powder manicure off my nails. And I've never been more annoyed. This should take maybe 30 minutes max and it took them 50 minutes. Not to mention I had to COACH her the entire time. I went in on a Saturday afternoon to get a pedicure and nail tips, as my nails had recently broke. At first I asked for chrome design with gel but they have and are limited to regular polish or regular gel polishes. I spoke with technician who only does manicures and pedicures. I explained what I wanted she spoke with the nail technician who said she could not do the design I'd like. I figured I'd stay I'm already here and just do my pedicure. The pedicure was decent. But the next day I was disappointed to see the gel polish had smudged away. Which should not have happened, I put on my shoes at 9:20. After my gel pedicure was completed at 6:30. I was livid as this establishment allowed me to leave without trying to repair the horrible job they did on my nails. I understand it was late and the job the technician was doing was taking longer. It seemed like she didn't know what she was doing. She dipped fingers several times in acrylic never once filling it down. She never shaped my nails. I explained to the technician I was not happy with the service and my nails were disgusting. I was not at all satisfied. I explained as I paid for the service to the owner I was not happy. I explained I will go the next day to another establishment to repair this job as they were all ready to leave. They gladly took my money and never once offered to repair the following day. I wish they could have said it was let and come the next day if that is the type of job they are going to do. They happy charged me $65 for this hideous embarrassing job. read more

I was very surprised with my experience due to how many good reviews this place has. I've never had to leave a bad review before, but I don't want anyone else to experience what I did. My gel manicure has been ruined within a week because all of my nails are breaking, which has never happened to me before. A HUGE roach crawled up by my hand while I was getting my nails done, and they still made me pay extra for something super small. I had to use the ATM to get $5 more for this, which charged me even more money because the ATM had a fee. So I paid almost $10 extra to get my nails done even while a giant roach almost crawled on my hand. I literally jumped out of my seat because it scared the hell out of me and she grabbed a spray bottle full of water and sprayed it off the table. I didn't complain because I don't like making people's jobs harder. Went here for the first time yesterday. Called for a same day appointment. From reading the reviews I would suggest making an appointment to guarantee that they can take you. Someone came in at around 8:10 wanting to get their nails done (I think I heard she wanted acrylic) but they close at 9 so also just make sure that you get there enough time before they close. It is better that they don't take someone in just to rush them to get them out by 9, very professional. So again, make an appointment or call a head of time if you can! I came in for a regular mani/pedi ($25) and decided to get my eyebrows threaded while I was there ($7). They did a great job, attention to detail. Even the eyebrow threading was also done very attentively. I felt guilty because I already have an eyebrow person I love so I felt like I was cheating on her and was nervous at first because I am really particular but she did a great job! Rose started with my pedicure, I think she is the woman who owns the business. And Helen finished the pedicure and manicure. I did think Helen could go a little slower when she was pushing back my cuticles for my manicure but I said something and she slowed down. Give them respectful feedback, they are kind and responsive. Rose says they've been open for a 1yr and 1/2 and they don't get as much business because they are not on the main street. Tell your friends about this gem to help these great women out! They exfoliated and massaged my feet during the pedicure and then massaged my neck and back while my feet were drying. It felt so goood. My toes look amazing. I would definitely be returning.
