I just tried to schedule an appointment here for some allergy testing. I went thru all the trouble to find an appointment time that works, give her my contact info, insurance info etc..... then she asks for a credit card to guarantee my appointment. If I didn't show up they charge my card for the cost of an office visit. Um NOOOOO! I don't just give out credit card info to everyone!! It's a shame I have to write this and give such low ratings because both Nurse Practitioner Li Li and Dr. Homan Mostafavi are great! But their front office staff is HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE! Rosa is rude, condescending and completely unprofessional. Not just to me, but loudly on the phone to other patients to where the entire waiting room could hear. They are severely overbooked, in my 4 appointments there, I waited in the FULL lobby well over 30min for my quick 15min (if that) appt. The only reason for my one star, is because once you are in the hands of the back office staff, you are treated so well. Each medical assistant, nurse, physician I came in contact with was kind and compassionate. Its a shame that first impression you get when you call on the phone or step foot in the office is so negative! I'm thankful I have no reason to return. read more

Original review with an update at the end: I saw Dr. Tracey Knott for chronic sinusitis and chronic strep throat. She was the second ENT I have seen for this issue and I'm on the hunt for a third doc now since I won't return to her ever again. First, I brought in my previous ENT's notes about my visit with him, which I don't think were ever looked at or even referenced. Dr. Knott is very robotic when she speaks and I didn't really feel comfortable with her at all. I asked questions, which she answered, but it was almost like it was a nuisance that I was even asking them. I didn't feel like my exam was remotely close to thorough either. Second, she just focused on my sinuses. She didn't do a scope but rather just looked in my nose with a light (non-invasive) and said, "Yeah, they're swollen and pale, looks like allergies, I'm ordering a CT scan of your sinuses." Okay, but I have two issues going on and only after I asked what the plan of action was regarding my tonsils, I got, "Yes, they're inflamed but I don't want to talk tonsillectomy until we get the sinus swelling down." Ok, understood, so now what? I was prescribed a 6-day regimen of prednisone, a nasal spray 2x's a day, Allegra (OTC, 24-hour dose), coat the insides of my nose with vaseline twice a day, and follow up in 4 weeks. When I expressed my concern with vaseline and asked if there was an alternative, it was like I had offended her at a cellular level. "I don't have experience with anything else and it's very inexpensive." Cost isn't the problem. Petroleum INSIDE MY NOSE is the problem. But I digress... So here we are 2 weeks after my first appointment. I called in because my right tonsil is swollen, painful and bleeding, I can't breathe through my nose, I have a sinus infection (I get them frequently so I know what it feels/looks like) and the only thing the doc wants to do is add another antihistamine!! Yeah, take Zyrtec at night WITH the Allegra and nasal spray. WHAT!?! That makes ZERO sense! "Well, an antibiotic won't bring down the swelling." No kidding. I need THAT for the infection and whatever is plaguing my bleeding tonsil and oh, the two other antihistamines you've already prescribed aren't working that well either! Follow-up was canceled. Off to find another ENT that will hopefully be able to help me. **UPDATE 4/24/18** I just saw my primary doc for the sinus issues before my appointment with another ENT. Turns out, I have a polyp in my left nasal cavity (which was never mentioned by Dr. Knott) and such a bad sinus infection that I was given one of the strongest antibiotics prescribable. The lack of care by Dr. Knott is appalling. I don't know if the office reads these reviews or even cares but I would hate to see how someone with bigger issues is treated. Please be cautious if you see these people. read more

My daughter is a pt here here. Office is very unorganized !! I should have know after the first mess up that I should just not deal with them but the doctor was amazing!! I work a lot in a doctors office so I have to take schedule days off that I have to ask for 2 weeks in advance it happened twice now where I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance, I show up for the appointment and they said they called twice each time and left me a VM to reschedule. I have no missed call and no VM. Now my daughter does not get her post opp appointment and I am unable to take any additional days off to bring her in. They have no respect for people's time !! read more

I had a really bad sore throat and decided to go see them since they are in my network. Last time this happened I ended up having tonsillitis. And it seemed to be very similar symptoms and it was going on for 2-3 days already. I was able to get an appointment in the same day that I called, which is probably the only good thing about them. My appointment was with Dr. Knott. I literally saw her for maybe 5 minutes. She took a second to look down my throat and basically her answer was I don't know what it is to everything I asked her. Is it a virus? It could be. Is it an infection? I don't think so. I'll just give you some antibiotics to take for 10 days, and if it doesn't get better in the next few days, then come back. And that was it. Last time, I had to go to urgent care, and they were even able to tell by looking down my throat that I had tonsillitis. I can't believe I had to pay a $90 co pay for that visit. Worst experience with a medical professional I can remember. Dr Knott was unempathetic, her examination of my fiancé took barely 30 seconds, suggested a test we have already done, and when I said as much she had no other recommendations other than a medication change to a weaker anti inflammatory, and vestibular therapy. The whole ordeal took maybe 5-10 minutes. Normally a quick visit would be a good thing but this is about the 5th specialist we have seen for the issues my fiancé is experiencing, and short term disability was denied, reasons given were things taken out of context, and we were depending on more than the barest of minimal efforts from this practice in regards to it. I asked to speak with her afterwards and explained the situation and it was fairly clear that my concerns were met with thinly veiled contempt. 100$ wasted. Dr. Tracey Knott is the best !! I needed sinus surgery for years. I had put it off because of people and other doctors telling me how painful it would be. After seeing her for a year trying treatments, I decided to have her do the surgery. WOW, what a good surgeon. It was almost pain free. The best thing I have done for this problem. She is a very knowledgable and caring doctor. She knew I was nervous, but she put me at ease. I would highly recommend her. read more

The receptionist is so rude, my wife didn't want to schedule an appointment with them because of her and we looked elsewhere for our son. Unfortunately he needed to see an ENT soon and everyone else was booked for the next month. When I called to make the appointment I was confronted with the same receptionist and I can totally see where my wife didn't want to come here. If you don't like your job then fine but it give you no right to talk to people in such a condescending manner. I believe Gilbert is the main office but not sure. This place is becoming my worst night mare. The billing department is the most worst attitude, none caring, none proactive department ever. If you can get away from pressing 5, than 1 and have a direct extension to someone in billing who has a better attitude you may get somewhere. This young dumb kid answers and was so snobby I wanted to slap her if I could. I had 2 insurances and they kept billing one. Never told me they had an issue with my second. When I asked that snob face why they haven't called me, her reply was" do you realize how many patient we have. Ok yes I do, but when you call me to collect the money for the bill, why in the hell cant you tell me there's a problem. How do I know if there's an issue. I even asked them few times if everything was good and cards were on file. Well long story short they were to lazy to call the number and just kept doing everything online and kept telling me my card was inactive. I finally got lucky with Judy from billing who was kind enough to help me and going to submit all the claims they were supposed to submit from way back when. After this is all over I'm never going back to this place ever again . I wouldn't even give a star read more

On 10/16 my daughter was referred to Dr. Homan Mustafavi (who is covered by our insurance) by our PCP to have her adenoids checked; her Enticare appt. was on 11/1. She ended up not being seen by the specialist and was just seen by a NP which we didn't know at the time, and was billed under someone else in their office who is NOT covered by our insurance, so our claims were denied. By the way, our PCP is a NP as well so it doesn't make sense why we were referred to an ENT to only be seen by another NP. We've had billings errors happen in the past and it's typically no big deal. You call the office and they resubmit the claim under the correct name or Tax ID, etc. and the claim gets covered. This hasn't been the case with Enticare and has been a nightmare trying to get this corrected. Outside of my first interaction with Brianna from billing we've heard NOTHING. We've called billing several times since then, always get their voicemail and can never get anyone on the phone. We've left several messages and never get a return call. We would just like to get this resolved and not feel like we're getting the run around, as I'm sure Enticare wants to get paid. I'm sure the FNP's and ENT's are great people and great at what they do, and I'm not saying do not go to their office, however if the way our case is being handled by Billing is any indicator on how their office runs or treats their patients, then good luck. read more

Dr. Trainor was great to work with, I'd recommend him with 5 stars. However, the scheduling and billing departments are broken. Scheduling always requires a phone call, message, then wait a full day for a return call and if you don't answer then you have to call and leave another message and wait another full day for a return call. Billing is terrible! I received a bill for a 2/15/17 appointment that clearly shows "Pay this amount: 0.00". I received no bill for my 4/15/17 appointment. Then I received a notice from a collections company that I in fact owed $257 from the first visit and another $88 from the second visit. Why would they send this to collections without ever notifying me that I owed money? I know they had the right address because I received a bill saying I owed 0.00. Unfortunately, I have to fire this office and I will miss working with Dr. Trainor. read more

My experience was great. The ladies up front were amazing in helping me for the information I needed on the line of enticare products.

I made an appointment for my 9 year old son for April 9, 2019. My son had strep throat 6 times within a 12 month period and my sons pediatrician told me that was enough to have tonsils removed, so I was hoping to do that so we could end the constant cycle of antibiotics. When I called I also explained why I was in, that my son had strep 6 times and we were looking to remove them to stop the cycle. I use a health share for our insurance and when we arrived, was told by the front office that they did not bill health shares. I let them know that it was fine, and I could pay in cash and submit it to the health share myself. Dr. Knott saw my son and informed me that he needed to have strep 7 times before there were grounds for removing tonsils. This was such a disappointment because I don't carelessly spend a lot of money on doctor's appointments for no reason, AND I had already stated my reason for coming. I could have been informed before I paid $165 for the visit that they only consider that after 7 times of strep. I politely thanked the doctor and then went to the front desk. Once there, the receptionist informed me that they did in fact bill Liberty Health Share and asked if they could do that instead. I told them I was fine to just pay cash and not worry about it. I paid in full, they gave me the receipt and I walked out the door. Yesterday, NINE months later I just received a bill. This bill shows that they billed my health share and are now asking for the remaining portion after the adjustments. This office double dipped by taking my cash payment as well as billing my health share. You can imagine my frustration at the thought of calling up the office tomorrow and dealing with this, but at least I still have my receipt. Also, I'm happy to note that my son is now healing from his tonsils being removed by a completely different ENT. If you need a fantastic pediatric ENT, call Dr. McKenna's office - you will not be disappointed. read more

Doctor Trainor maybe a good doctor but it's offset by a terrible office staff. I was supposed to have surgery for a deviated septum and I should have known something was off when I was having to call the office literally 3:30 the day before to find out when it was going to be. Danielle was supposed to call 3 days prior to schedule. I left messages which apparently go into a black hole because Danielle never returned the messages. I only found out when surgery would be by calling the front desk who then had to reachout to Danielle. So then I show up to the hospital day of surgery to find out it was still pending insurance approval. Upon calling the insurance company I learned that enticare only submitted the request 10 days prior to surgery and United Healthcare takes up to 15 business days to approve. So Enticare had over 2 months lead time and submits to the insurance 10 days prior. I had to day of opt not to have the surgery and walk out of the hospital leaving Dr. Trainor in there getting ready for a surgery that wouldn't happen because of office staff neglect. Now I will need to find a new ent and wait till next year for my surgery. I'm sure there are plenty of better ent's in PHX to choose from so stay clear of this one read more
