Laura Jochen, a family NP, was very good. Instead of just quickly scanning my chart, Laura took time reviewing my medical history and asking questions to help adjust my treatment. I have been to see a lot of Doctors over the past couple of years for various conditions. This remains the best practice I have visited. Kudos to them... I highly recommend them!

However, our experience with this practice has been unacceptable and deeply concerning. We were dismissed from the office for allegedly having five "no-shows," without any prior warning, communication, or outreach whatsoever, outside of a threatening letter once it got to 5 no shows. At no point were we notified that missed appointments were accumulating, that we were at risk of dismissal, or that this was even an issue until this letter. We did not receive reminder calls, texts, or follow-up communications nor did we receive texts for appointments like they state. In all of our appointments, we probably received 3 confirmations... Additionally, their own policy states that patients will be contacted after two missed appointments -- this never occurred. We can only recall two unintentional missed appointments, during a period when our infant daughter was suffering from severe colic. Rather than showing basic understanding or attempting to communicate, this practice demonstrated a complete lack of empathy toward families with newborns. Mine you, one of the appointments they told me we no showed was the first appointment 2 days after she was born and we were still unexpectedly in the hospital as she had jaudice.... thought there would be way more compassion. Instead of reaching out to resolve the issue, we received a threatening dismissal letter without any prior discussion. This approach is alarming for a pediatric practice. The way this situation was handled felt transactional and punitive, more in line with a retail operation than a medical office entrusted with the care of babies and children. The failure to communicate, disregard for their own policies, and lack of compassion for struggling parents is unacceptable. Pediatric care should prioritize partnership, transparency, and empathy -- none of which were demonstrated here. Parents deserve to know that this practice may choose enforcement over communication, even when caring for vulnerable infants.

We have now been patients for more than 3 years and he sees both of my children. He is professional without being pretentious, listens to all of our concerns and presents solutions when needed. They are very busy and quite popular in this area-as I now know a few families that go there- so make appointments ahead of time. This also means sick appointments and day of appointments are limited. The medical complex it's located in is also quite busy, the parking lot is always full so show up early to search for parking. Good doctors are hard to come by so having a pediatrician this great is important.

At the time, it was a smaller staff, and I primarily saw Dr. Mulder. I have no problem with the kind and professional way I was treated. My concern is that the program they put me on was a scam. I was initially told that my x-rays showed a crooked spine. For some reason, no x-ray at any other practice, including my husband's family chiropractor who does lots of x-rays, ever saw crookedness in my spine. I was then put on a regimen for treatment that included multiple weekly visits, adjustments, spine exercises, and a diet. The diet was just common sense mixed with some elimination and detox strategies. I do not have a crooked spine. The end result was that I did not improve, but they got a lot of money out of my insurance company. I went until my insurance wouldn't cover visits anymore. Regrettably, I also recommend a friend to True Health early on. She had a similar experience. So did several family members. We did not recover. While I'd like to say no harm done, I could have been spending my time seeking actual help. I have been meaning to leave a review letting others know about my experience for a long time now. Dr. Alessandro is the absolute best and is all about education people of all ages. All the staff is very kind, knowledgeable, professional, and hospitable! Perfect balance! Did I also mention the phlebotomist (she) is extremely skilled and is very talented in her job! She is the only phlebotomist in the state of Arizona (east valley) that has drawn my blood in one poke. Great Doctor, Highly Unprofessional Management & Privacy Concerns…read more I am writing this because while the clinical care from the doctors here (specifically Dr. Rodriguez) is wonderful, the administrative side of this practice (specifically the business owner Laura) is deeply concerning. The front desk is often loud and unprofessional, frequently discussing personal matters or medical details within earshot of the entire waiting room. I have witnessed staff giving unsolicited medical advice or aggressively upselling supplements, which creates an atmosphere that feels out of place in a naturopathic setting. There are often significant wait times- it is common to wait an hour or more past your scheduled appointment. The office staff is rude and aggressive. The office frequently pushes for sensitive information (like insurance cards) to be sent via text message rather than using their secure portal. If you value your privacy and a professional medical environment, be wary. I truly hope the talented doctors here eventually find a space that aligns with the actual principles of patient care and confidentiality.
