From the atmosphere of the waiting room, to my meeting with the tech, I felt their only goal was to sell me a high priced hearing aid. Scare tactic videos in the waiting room to a highly suspect hearing test consisting of me with my eyes closed, and the tech reading 25 words, all sounding alike. The tech wanted my wife to sit in, but I saw no reason for that. He did feel it was necessary to follow me out and advise my wife that I failed the test! I left with a very unpleasant feeling. Today I had my annual hearing exam and my hearing loss has increased. The doctor put a pair of $3500 hearing aids in my ears and went through a whole slideshow and sales pitch. After all that I told him I wanted to think about it and could he please adjust my current hearing aids to my current hearing test. He said since they're out of warranty he would have to charge me. I spent an hour and a half there for a hearing test with the doctors main intention to upsell me versus adjusting my hearing aids that I currently have. He told me he ran out of time and I'd have to make another appointment. That's bull crap and I'm not going back. He told me it was under new ownership and that has totally ruined the reputation of good sound audiology. I do not recommend them. read more

Never again. I originally saw Dr B and she was very kind and explained every thing. When my daughter passed away one of my devices became lost. I called them right away. 3 times I was told my co pay would be $350.. i finally got the replacement and when I picked it up for it curbside. Handed them my card. Driving away I looked at my charge slip and it was $600... not $350. I called and was told it was because of the power receivers I have a higher co.pay. No notice.. no apology and how was I to know it would be higher when they don't even know. Later booked hearing test. Asked if it was still covered by my insurance. Said yes and co pay would be $15.. I get there and she tells me $30. It's not the$15 extra that matters. It's the consist integrity problem. No apologizes and very condesending. For the $250 overcharged I was given a free set of $5 wax guards and still would not really do anything to make it right. Never again!! Also still has Dr B on thev website but she's been way more than a year. I need a more ethical doctor. read more

I am so thankful that we were referred to Good Sound Audiology specifically Dr. B. My 7 year old son recently had evaluations completed and turned out he has 40% hearing loss in one ear. The ENT and Otologist where ee completed his first appointments weren't very personable and I really didn't want to visit these offices for follow ups and when he needed to visit so I am super thankful we started with the hearing aid with Good Sound. We have visited about a handful of times now and everyone is so pleasant and full of information. We are blessed. We are thankful. read more

The hearing aids I received were very hi tech so they were more expensive than other hearing aids. Most features on the hearing aids do not work with my android phone so why did they sell me this expensive phone? The hearing aids hurt my ears, are not nearly as comfortable as the phonak's they replaced. Bottom line, I believe Good Sound Audiology made making a bigger profit more important than giving me hearing aids that would work best for me. The hearing aids I got from them sit in my drawer while I wear my 10 old Phonaks because the Phonaks are way more comfortable and improve my hearing as well as what I got at Good Sound. read more

Dr. Jessee was incredibly cruel and insensitive during my routine appointment to get an up-to-date hearing chart and inquire about hearing aid options (I have been profoundly hard-of-hearing for most of my life, and chose not to use hearing aids as a child). She explicitly told me that I "wasn't fooling anyone--anyone who has ever met [me] knows [I'm] deaf." (Thereby making me extremely self-conscious about my "deaf accent".) She also said that it was a miracle that I could speak and unheard of that I had graduated from high school (which I did with honors and a full academic merit scholarship to my university of choice), harshly criticized my decision to go without hearing aids earlier in my life as though it had damaged me mentally, and cynically insisted that no hearing aid would ever benefit me enough to be worth looking into. I left my appointment in tears. Following my appointment, I received unsolicited flyers full of ignorant and ableist information in the mail from her practice for almost a year, which--among other things--referred to hearing loss as a "horrible disease." My experiences with Good Sound Audiology caused me a great deal of emotional damage and endless insecurity about my disability and how it affects my quality of life, which it took counseling to move past in its entirety. I strongly encourage that anyone, of any age, with any degree of hearing loss seeks out audiological services elsewhere. read more

I LOVE Good Sound Audiology!! It is so important to be seen by a Dr. of Audiology, which Dr. Tina Jesse is!! The whole staff are extremely knowledgeable and the quality of service is unsurpassed. They truly care about their customers/patients! They are available any time you have a question or need answers. I have recommended Good Sound to many friends. The Starkey, state of the art hearing aids I got have improved my life immensely - I didn't realize i had a hearing problem 7-8 years ago until i couldn't understand my grandchildren and also was having a problem at work hearing people that were talking to me. Getting these hearing aids made all the difference! I now can hear anything i need to and i have gotten my confidence back......extremely important! read more

Good Sound Audiology is too expensive for hearing aids. Stay clear of them. They tried to charge me $8,000 for Starkey Halo hearing aids. These are the top of the line aids that connect to your iphone. I went to another hearing center and got the same exact hearing aids for $5,290. read more

I am so thankful to Good Sound Audiology for the thorough, exceptional and genuinely caring help they offered my Family recently. From a Family who is plagued with ear troubles and most of them living in places with an abundance of local quacks that barely earn the price of the copay, tending to throw darts carelessly at any issues and send you on your way, it has been greatly refreshing to both me and my visiting Family to find excellent Doctors and facilities here in the South Valley. Hardest sell on Doctors of our lot is my Mom. Her local hospital has noted in her file that she does not like Doctors. No, really. Unfortunately, my Mom's hearing has been degrading at a terrible level for some time now. She typically leans toward naturopathic heals but I've never seen a decent hearing aid carved from hemp stalks, so decided to find her a quality professional that could help keep her in sound with the world at large. All of the little sounds of everyday life that most of us take for granted but that people with challenged hearing are brought to tears by when by what seems to be miracle work, they are blessed to hear again after long whiles of inability, if they ever have been able to. I have seen this first hand. Sounds of children laughing, birds in nearby trees, lawn mowers running down the street while a neighbor is out doing their weekly chores. Think about the orchestra of life around you and then imagine If half or more of those players were silent to you. Big stuff. By referral, I got some help for her from Good Sound Audiology and she and I are so very thankful for their kindness, their knowledge, the advanced level of quality of the products they carry (I had no idea all of the options available now!) and how simple they make it to make visits for help! This place has a deal through Blue Cross for some what less expensive hearing aids. Not exactly cheap though at $2500. However they are pleasant and did a good job initially. I was doing fine until I needed them adjusted. That visit was the last of the three free visits included. Before the visit the hearing aids were quite comfortable. After the visit they have been very uncomfortable to the point where I can not wear them for a long time. They looked at the paperwork but could not see anything they might had done. Now they want to charge me for a visit - over $100 per visit now. That seems like a lot of money for a visit. read more

Dr. Tina Jessee is such a pro. She conducted hearing test, cleaned the wax out of my ears and set me up with terrific hearing aids. What I really like is the follow up. I returned after the first week and am scheduled in for six weeks. She really cares about her customer. It's nice to know that I can stop in at any one of their three locations and get my hearing aids cleaned or see her at my request if I need adjustment. My aunt goes to Good sound Audiology but she does not have a Yelp. She was just telling me how she loves her doctor & the staff, so I suggested writing a review! She said the doctor makes sure she understands everything and that she is very patient with her and answering her questions. She also loves that they clean her hearing aids for her.
