So 4 months ago I reserved a van. I was quoted a van with passenger seats and a quote without passenger seats. I reserved a van without seats. I arrived and it had seats. (Without seats the price was 1/2 the price with seats. They offered to remove the seats. But management said no. So I wanted to cancel the rental. Not that easy apparently. To improve on this: have what was reserved at the time and place promised. They are trying to figure out how to cancel the rental. Yep they cancelled the rental but no confirmation. I have been renting from Enterprise for almost two months and they have been so helpful, kind, friendly and just a pleasure to work with. Our experience with the insurance company has been so discouraging but the bright spot in it all is Enterprise. We rented a car to go to Bend, got exactly what we wanted. Unfortunately our trip got cancelled and we had to turn around. Returned the car after two hours and they were kind enough to void out the charges. Was unexpected and sure appreciated this after the disappointment of cancelled plans! We have rented here at least three times in the last couple of years and have had no issues and it has always been easy to adjust our reservation. read more

I can say without a doubt that for any future car rental needs I choose Enterprise Rent-A-Car! As long as I have the choice, I will be returning to the main street location in Springfield (4396 Main St, Springfield, OR 97478). This is the second time I have needed a rental car (locally) in my lifetime, and both times, I am SO glad I chose THIS company at THIS location! I was warmly greeted and chauffeured to the Enterprise location by Erick. The first thing I noticed about him was his smile. And from the moment we spoke I sensed kindness, sincerity and a desire to make sure that I was happy with this whole process not to mention Enterprise! This spoke volumes to me! Start to finish, Erick was kind, knowledgeable, funny, and very patient-he did a great job with me AND representing this company! Thank you Erick for being awesome! Equally as awesome was the manager at this location, Miss ErIca! She went above and beyond with such professional customer service that I could feel the tension and anxiety FINALLY starting to leave my body. I knew that I had been having a string of bad luck, (they say it comes in threes...) but until I could feel a big part of this stress exiting my body, I don't believe I knew just how much I had been through! We just keep pushing through and getting through things the way we are meant to but as we all know, some days...weeks...even MONTHS-well... " Some days are diamonds, and some days are stone"! Erica took her time with me, and patiently answered all my questions, and though I'm pretty sure she could feel that I was possibly not far off from the proverbial 'meltdown', she stuck right in there with me letting me know that she was hearing everything I was saying, letting me know that she was sorry that I had been through so much, and making it a point to leave it on a positive note-by saying that hopefully from that point forward things would start to go better... I felt compassion from both of these employees and I felt validated. By the time I left there, I was smiling & even had some (happy) tears running down my face. I felt grateful, I felt respected, I felt relieved & definitely felt blessed! Quite honestly...thanks to these two exemplary employees, I started out feeling like a respected (returning) customer and left there feeling like family! And isn't that what it's all about? Isn't that what we all want? I truly hope that this review reaches the supervisors/bosses of these two employees. I pray that when it does, they understand how well Enterprise Rent-A-Car had been represented by these two-and in a big BIG way! The woman behind the counter was great; friendly, efficient, no hard upsell. The van was ready to go. But once I started driving, I realized how dirty it was. Cup holders had gunk in them, actually had coffee residue down the side of the console. Every little thing I opened had gunk and/or trash. If I hadn't rented on a Saturday, leaving early Sunday, I might have even exchanged the car, it was that bad. But they were already closed by the time I realized what was there. Someone needs to put a little detail in their detailing. read more

Absolutely terrible time with this location, may have spoiled any future business I may have renting a car from them again. Got in an accident and was referred to Enterprise, though it was going to go well, I was wrong. They put me in a SUV when I asked for a good mileage commuter, the swapped me to a car I was made to pay out of pocket on while my car was in the shop. The accident was the other guys fault and I'm the one being made to pay out of pocket because it was the only car Enterprise had at the time, so I had no other options. Come to find out they could have sent me to one of the other Enterprise shops around town, because they should have put me in a car that my insurance was covering fully..... I'm getting long winded but now I'm trying to finish my business with the and even that is impossible. I paid $180 in 3 days of having a car... Look out and know what's going on before you agree to anything. I didn't and now I'm paying for it. read more

There are so many reasons why I gave the Enterprise Rent-A-Car on Main st in Springfield, Oregon 5 stars. When it comes to customer service, I know it all. If there were 10 stars, I would've given them all 10 of them. First of all let me ask if you have tried to rent a car in the last 10 yrs without owning a credit card and having a credit score over 650? Well I am a good person with not so good credit. Avis/Budget left me stranded over a 3 day weekend with a prepaid nonrefundable reservation, never once mentioning the credit score rule neither was it anywhere in the fine print on their website. Enterprise gave me a great rate on a 10 day rental. I spoke with the locally over the telephone and confirmed the good news. Yes you may use a debit card. You do NOT have to give a $300 CASH deposit. They do not check your credit score and the other few minor criteria I met with no issues. Everyone in the office was fun & friendly. It made me want to get a job working there. The price for the prepay gas was lower than the ARCO gas a few blocks away. They went with me to leave my car at a friends house and brought me back to drop off their driver. They couldn't do enough nice things for me. And the van is amazing to drive, its luxury; leather seats, GPS, cruise control, Bluetooth phone....A DVD player. Too much good stuff read more

I worked directly with Christian, the branch manager and he was awesome to work with. He was extremely professional and very customer service oriented. He walked me through every step of the process and answered all of my questions in detail. After I returned the vehicle he called to verify the total charges for the rental and to make sure there was nothing else they could have done to make my experience better. After having called the 800 number for additional information about my rental I got some misinformation that would have resulted in additional charges. Christian was able to resolve the issue for me and make it so that I wouldn't get charged anything extra. As a manager of a business myself I can REALLY appreciate how good of a job he did to make sure that I was well taken care of. This location is out of the way for me, but I just scheduled another rental from here because I enjoyed working with him. If you are not sure which branch to rent from I recommend giving this one a try. read more
