In the spring, my mother gave me her remaining pre-paid car wash coupons for Thurston Car Wash which was purchased by Wild Willy's in February of 2025. When I noticed the change of ownership in June, I asked an employee how long I could still use the coupons and was told "through the end of the year, we will stop taking them in January." Perfectly reasonable. Today, I was told 1) they stopped taking the coupons in October; 2) there was no possible way that I had been given incorrect information back in June; and 3) they would not honor the coupons one last time. I've been there three times since June using those coupons and not once did an employee alert me to the approaching expiration. Nope. There are plenty of carwashes in Eugene/Springfield that are more convenient with easier access. For the sake of $10, Wild Willy's lost a customer with five vehicles. Went in for a early morning car wash. Was greeted and told we will not be open for 5 minutes. Fine may I wait. No problem the man says. My car has been washed weekly at this car wash. After going through the wash, I noticed multiple bugs on the windshield and returned to the car wash to have them removed. The attendant brought a dirty rag and some spray and smeared then all over the windshield and left the ones in the middle of the glass and then claimed he could not reach that far. I ask him if he thought that was the proper thing to do and was told there is the exit to the right and get the F-------- off his car wash lot. Service like that goes a long. What a Joke! read more

This place sucks. First what car wash closes at 6 pm during summer time. It's 83 out and they close at 6. Then when you do go they use wash sticks and you can hear them slamming and clunking against your car. When you pay for wheel clean. Yeah right. They don't do anything and the auto wash does nothing. The air dryer hardly does anything too. Save your money. I've had better wash jobs done by using a hose only. read more

My new VW TouReG -I bought for my husband a WW2 Veteran at 95. Ran it thru this wash twice.. Car was mint and now has a SHuNK taken out of the corner bottom of passenger door. Also same area, a whole in the body of the car, on same side with a huge scratch with gauges going downward towards bottom of vehicle. We heard a noice while inside the wash on that side when car was going thru the wash. Manager and blonde owner said it couldn't possibly be their machines and were reluctant to give me their names and were RuDe as hell... not professional and blondie ran inside yelling at me and hiding. My husbands car is severely damaged ... I also see all these bad reviews now. Manager looked at vehicle and stated it couldn't possibly be anything their machines did to my car. And that it was obviously a rock. I stated a rock wouldn't make several ripping marks and take a chunk out of my Car. First time I ever ran the Touareg thru this wash I noticed a small whole in same area. My husband and I went back during fires and ran car thru wash second time to get this kinda damage to vehicle, same area. Manager and Blonde owner will Not give me their names, and deny it might possibly be their machines. I say NoT FaiR- BaD BuSiNeSS..... now my husbands car isn't the same. I am so beyond frustrated! I took my car to Thurston Car Wash on Saturday, while in it , the car wash made a horrible noise it sounded like it was ripping my car to sheds! When I got home I looked and sure enough it had scratched my car I several places on both sides! I took it back in and had the manager take a look at it. He took an accident report. When I asked for his insurance information for the business he refused to give it to me and then was so rude!! I called him to clarify that he was refusing and he changed his story to say he didn't have it and then hung up on me! Thurston friends, DO NOT go to Thurston car wash unless you want your car super scratched! I filed a claim with my insurance and I hope to get it fixed soon! read more

Avoid this place at all cost. while waiting on the rack to go into the wash apparently my truck rolled forward in neutral. The staff started screaming at me to stop. I applied the break and rolled down my window the attendant started screaming at me just outside my window "without a mask on", that I was a F&^%$#$ idiot and to put it in neutral and dont touch a fn thing. I tried to tell and show him I was in neutral, but that just enraged him. the owner appeared and told him to calm down. he instructed me to put it in neutral and not to touch a damn thing. I rolled up my window and started thru the wash. we got stuck on the first set of brushes. a manager appeared and told me my truck was f'd up and that I was going to have to drive out. his instructions were not clear. he told me to put it in drive and not to touch anything, keep my hands off the steering whell and DONT apply the brake. then the next instruction was to watch him and slow down only if he told me too. I repeated his instructions back to him just to be clear, this enraged him. I then asked if you tell me to slow down do you want me to touch brakes he said NO don't touch the F"n breaks. I became very frustrated at this point but, I asked how do you want me to slow down, he wouldn't answer. I asked if I was supposed to put it in neutral or throw it in park? this enraged him further, he instructed me to wathch him and apply brakes if he said so. I put it in drive and proceeded forward as the truck picked up speed I watched him closely. he suddenly started screaming this isn't a f'n race slow down. as I exited the was I pulled forward and stopped as I wanted to inspect my truck for damage, I was met by the owner and manger who immediately started screaming at me to get back in my vehicle because I was intimidating them? they approached me in a threatening manner. When I was pulling into the car wash, the left side of my vehicle was lined into the rack so that my car can get pulled into the car wash. Well, I put it in neutral (as told) and my vehicle started moving in and the left tire in the front popped out of the rack somehow and the guy that was being handed the payments, acted like it was my fault and was a total douche about it. Unfortunately, the Finish Line car wash just down the road was closed and I really wanted my car washed and it came out dirty because they ran the car wash without my car going through. read more

It's too bad, I like to support local businesses, but I took a new Black car through there and the dirty brush they pre-washed with scratched up the paint big time. I'm sure I could complain but why, to get my $6 back. The only thing that would help is if they would pay for it to be polished and that's not going to happen. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! I have never been to a car wash where they take so much time getting every little smudge off of my car. To the point where they use their own finger to scrape it off as well as the pressure washer. The customer service is amazing, they're so nice and considerate every time. I was so impressed with them that I got my car detailed, and they did an incredible job for such a great price. I will continue to go here even if I move across town. read more

Horrible wash and bad customer service. I purchased the Ultimate Wash and then went to the grocery store across the street. I noticed that the back of the car was not washed at all. I went back to run through again less than 30 minutes after. I showed my receipt and told the attendant the back of my car was still dirty and asked to go through again. The owner started cussing and saying it was bullshit I wanted to go through again. Despite the back of my car obviously being missed by the wash. He yelled loud enough to scare my 6 month old baby in the back who them started screaming. I was at a loss as to why he had such a horrible reaction. I have never took the time to do this but I truly think people need to know this. I have never been to such a car wash and been treated the way they do... I had my car damaged meaning the brushes totally took off my left rear light!!!!!! I come back to let them know after I got pulled over by a police officer to let me know my light was missing.. They did try to send me to a Fix Auto on Main Street... That's was such a joke! The guy said he replaced the light and to my surprise the light falls off when I opened my trunk ! At this point everyone pointing the finger to the next person!! I did try and speak to the owner/manger and no response! I did get hung up on while trying to get some info to help me on the issue! I would never go to this place again. And the brushes hit the cars way to hard those brushes are really messing up a lot of cars!!! read more

Washed my truck there today. Horrible job, and the bugs were still there. I pulled around to ask if they could run it through again, as the bugs were tough this time. They wouldn't run it through again, but rinsed off the bumper in the front. That did nothing. There was soap suds still on the truck when I left, so a lousy rinse at best. The dirt was still on it also. It's not like I went off road or anything., but it was NOT clean at all. I gave a good tip when it started, but now I wish I had held off. They didn't even try. The "manager" was not qualified to be a "manager" as he hung up on me twice, when I asked for the owner. Then he asked me not to come back? Ok, thanks...I won't. read more

Caution, On Saturday July 13th I drove my SUV through theThurston Car Wash. My SUV was damaged, the owner himself went into the carwash and pulled out the piece that was broken off my tailgate by their equipment and asked me to send him a repair estimate, it took four phones calls before I was able to speak to Brandon (the owner) and he denied the claim and had refused to pay for the damage. If I could add negative stars, I would. I got an $8 wash and left a $2 tip. I didn't look at the back of my car until the next day, I assumed it was clean. The next day I went to open the hatch and found the back covered with dirt. It hadn't been brushed in back, so the water just ran the dirt down and it accumulated. I went back and the operator told he couldn't do anything because it was the day before, but his manager was there. There was also an older man I assumed was the owner. The manager first accused me of lying, said I wasn't there the day before. Then he backtracked and said all of the dirt was new since the day before. I asked how that could happen to that degree JUST in the back. His only response was the operators would be fired if they didn't brush the back, so it had to be new. NOT POSSIBLE. Then the older guy came over and started yelling like I was the one trying to rip someone off. How hard would it have been to just let me run the car through again? The car was obviously clean except for the back. People make mistakes. They didn't brush it, but so what? Just run it through again. My husband was appalled when I got home. There is no way the car had been brushed. Two of our neighbors were out when we were looking at it and they shared their horror stories of going to the same car wash. Horrible place, horrible people.
