I went here for the first time after seeing it was one of the only highly-rated car washes in Eugene. My car desperately needed a wash and this place did a great job! There was a long line but it moved quickly. I got the $15 executive wash since it had been so long since my last wash. They are still giving out the dashboard wipes, so the previous review about that is no longer correct. The people who scrubbed my car did a good job and were pretty thorough. The car wash did turn off about 3/4 of my way through but it turned back on after about a minute so it was fine. When the wash was over they towel-dried my car and did a great job. No streaks or missed spots! All in all this is a great deal! If you aren't looking for a perfect shine with absolutely no dirt left then this is well worth the low price. Admittedly, I really needed a wash badly, but it just wasn't enough. I paid for the "Executive" level, which was $15, but it still left the top of my civic dirty, and I had to scrub it down with a towel to get the last dirt marks and stubborn build up off. Additionally, you have to pay for the vacuums, and they don't have a change machine, so I had to run over to the next door self service wash to use their change machine. The first $1 wasn't enough to finish vacuuming, but I only needed about half the time of the next round. All in all, a $17 wash and vacuum that didn't fully clean of my car isn't worth repeating. read more

I had higher hope's because I'd heard this car wash was better than others in town. Disappointing. My car was admittedly dirty after a weekend in the snow. I paid for the top level, mentioned to the guy taking my order that I would appreciate the handle to open the hatch be extra cleaned. He agreed and it's still filthy. I was the only person there. They turned on the belt to start my car through even before spraying my car down to scrub. I went out of my way and it's no better than any other disappointing car wash in Eugene. Just a heads up to everyone around the area. Washed my truck at West side car wash off hwy 99 on Monday. I was satisfied with the price, up until this morning. I see a $10 charge showing up on my bank this morning from the car wash. I called and was able to get the managers phone number. I explained what had happened and she said it's a deposit when you first swipe your card (which I didn't know, and no where states that there is a deposit on the property) but explain to me why it randomly popped up this morning, when I haven't gone in since Monday? Regardless the manager was rude as fuck. Had to dispute the charge through my bank. Highly don't recommend going to any West side car wash, as she runs all of them. Very rude. Try to make excuses why, never apologized, refused to talk on the phone, only texting. HIGHLY DISSATISFIED AND DONT RECOMMEND. One off hwy 99 as well as west 11th. For the car wash was $8 for 2 four mins wash. Sprayed 4 mins in the beginning, and 4 mins to rinse off. Total including this "deposit/holding" costed me $18, until I disputed the $10. read more

Paid for the best available wash "Excellent " $14 and the back window, roof and tailgate don't even look like they were touched. Very disappointing, I realize it's a drive thru car wash but when you pay for the extra coatings and wax and then your car comes out dirty you know they wax and sealers didn't get applied to those area. read more

most thorough drive through car wash cleaning i've had. typically drive through washes are great for convenience but mediocre with getting your vehicle sparkling clean. eyesores such as water marks and dust afterwards have always been an issue. but not with this wash. staff is friendly and helpful and won't make you feel dumb when your brain stops and you can't figure out the super easy instructions of keeping your car in neutral with your foot off the break. the hours are also convenient- as this wash is open later than most others. read more

I have been a customer of West Side for five years or so. I really appreciate the level of customer service that the provide. They include a cloth to clean the interior of your car while you go through the wash. Wasn't great, wasn't terrible. I got the $12 wash (most expensive) and the back of my 4 runner was still pretty dirty even though at the end there are 2 people who wipe everything down. The second time I've been here instead of driving up to the Coburg Road car wash. I paid for the 11.00 wash thinking more is better, not so. I got home and my car looks like a 5 year old washed it. It's not worth my time to go back and whine about it. I should have learned from the first time I went there, same car wash same result. "Miranda G" has a pretty accurate review I just noticed. I won't be going back, I'll just drive around pissed off that once again I threw money away hoping it rains soon to hide my shitty wash. Just wash it myself you say, good point. Mediocre wash and far from full service. In fact, even though it's 35 degrees outside, I brought the car home and washed it properly. Someone commented about them even cleaning the door jambs. Perhaps they should have said they clean the drivers door jamb for about two seconds, using opening the door as an excuse to get a tip. The wipe down was perfunctory, they don't vacuum the car and they give you a wipe to take care of your own interior as the car goes through the wash. No way I'll be back. read more

I just brought my car through and it had egg all over the windshield. The staff spent extra time cleaning the caked on egg, scraping the dried off food from the car and really went the extra mile with a smile the entire time. I have only been here to vacuum out my car myself. The machine charges 75 cents to use the vacuum and there are about 6 of them available. The vacuums have long hoses to help reach throughout your vehicle but the suction isn't the greatest. You will get the majority of dirt and debris but don't expect it to be super thorough. You can also hand wash your car here or go through the car wash. read more

This place is fantastic. I wish that they had one close to my home. But they are worth driving to. The problem is the vacuums are not very good. That's the only reason I gave them a four star versus the five. I wish they would do something about the vacuums!
