Great car wash and service! This is the best place in Eugene!

They turned off the overhead rudder so I could drive my ski rack through the car wash. It worked! Very nice people.

I decided to drive clear across town to West Side Car Wash after reading a number of great reviews. I was ready to find a new car wash and chose West Side. The one I'd used for years has suddenly put customer service, not to mention overall quality control, at the bottom of their list. More important now is the policy to charge an extra dollar JUST to wipe the suds off the inside of my Jeep tailgate so it doesn't rain soap suds down on me when I open it (Note: the guy is standing there, rag in hand, as he says that). Seriously. I'm done. So I decided to try West Side Car Wash. They don't do interiors at West Side, although they have the vacuums there to use. However, the nicest guy said that he'd be happy to do it just for the tip, although he cautioned me that if they got busy he'd have to start and stop a few times. I said fine. For some reason, I just wanted someone else to do it. I could not have been happier. In truth, the washing equipment probably isn't q-u-i-t-e the caliber of my old place, but i can say that I have never in life had such a fantastic job done on the interior of my car. He actually paid attention! He took so much time with it, and was just so darn nice besides, that had I had a $50 bill I would have given it to him. It MEANS something to have people working in a business, any business, that actually care about doing a good job, about making people happy...and maybe about just doing a little bit extra now and then. It means that I come home and take the time to write a five-star review. it means that I will tell people about West Side Car Wash. Tommy, thank you so much. They were super busy and I got the executive car wash. They pointed out to me that my truck did not come out completely clean so they sent me back through for free. They also gave me a free car wash for next time. Would recommend to any one!! read more

Best car wash and nicest staff in Eugene. We've been coming here for years and they have always done a first rate job!

This place is great for just a quick basic cleaning & they do offer do it yourself stalls. The problem with the do it yourself stalls is that the brushs, they are in very poor condition and not something I would use on my car/truck. The drive-thru is also a hit and miss. I've come thru and received really great service at times, but I've also had the tweeker looking guys quickly rush my vehicle thru without spending much time on the pre-brushing before hitting the go button. read more

Just needed to vacuum some sand out of the car from a trip to the beach. Staff was very friendly. I asked about hard water spots on my windshield I have been struggling to remove, the employee went inside, looked up their suppliers best suggestion for dealing with it, which turned out to be vinegar and water on a towel let to sit in the glass for 5 minutes. She wrote it all down on a card for me not trying to sell me on any fancy wash or chemical they may have sold. I will be back. read more

I went thru there this past week and the tweeker guy was yelling constantly at the other younger guy through out the whole pre scrub. The tweeker guy then hit the back of my car so hard with the push brush it put a chip in the paint and then threw the window cleaner bottle at the wall and broke it. The other 2 guys were really nice and Im not sure how they can put up with that dude as if it were me i wouldn't want to work with an angry screeming tweeker. My car was clean but I had a small dent in the side and chips off the back as what ever he was pissed about he took out on my car. read more

overall not satisfied. went in with very high expectations from the previously read reviews. the car wash did give us quite the show colors and all. however there was a bit too much foam and a rushed job on the drying end of things. will NOT be coming back anytime soon. i think i'll stick to the oregon rain. (it did get the vomit off the drivers door, so that's where the two stars come from) read more

Fair price, they pre-wash by hand and dry by hand. I am a bit disappointed the last few times i have gone however. Slowly over the last year or more first it was broken than they took out one of there vacuums, and the one or two that were left don't work well at all, there is often trash on the ground, no available trash can, or a can but no sack, or a sack in a can but its over flowing onto the pavement..the pavement is sticky, and no paper towels or Windex... the few times i have tried to get someones attention its very obvious they don't know were any of the supplies are or really want to help me, and the last time i asked the attended simply shrugged and said there was a can on the other side of the parking lot but he couldn't leave the car-wash to help me (ignoring the other issues completely) even though my car was the only car there... Very sad to see my go-to spot being run down in such a short time. read more

Excellent soft cloth car wash. They are polite and very attentive to detail including a hand dry after the wash. They do not skimp on soap and wax like some other washes around town. When you go through, notice how more product is used and completely covers your car/truck. I want my whole truck clean/waxed with complete coverage in a short amount of time and with good service and this was my experience here at Westside. read more

This place sucks. They do a mediocre job at best. They didn't clean my wheel covers, soap was left on parts of the car after the rinse and they left big areas undried. I won't be returning here. read more

I've been going to this car wash for the past 10 years nearly once a week. The last time I was there the attendant had me pull so close to the car in front of me I was nearly touching their bumper. I asked him why so close and he basically blew me off. we went through the normal routine. 'Executive car wash please, ...okay..thank you ....put it in neutral no brakes" I've heard this so many times I could recite it in my sleep. However as I was going through the wash and about 2/3 of the way through the wash.....mind you NOT the beginning.... 2/3 of the way through... my truck surged up and over the roller and hit the car in front of me. after this all happened we went outside and discussed the matter with the other couple and with the manager on duty. The manager continued to say that it was my fault and that there is NO way that their car wash could malfunction. she insisted it was user error....as in me. I flatly refused that it was my fault but she just brushed me off. Mind you I know everything about this manager as I have been there so many times. My question is, If I did not have it in neutral why did the truck not move over the rollers RIGHT AWAY?!?!?! If I had my foot on the break how was it able to move all the way down that far in the car wash? This makes no sense and I will refuse to ever support or recommend this place of business. It is well known that their machines are always breaking down. The owner is never there and has absolutely no idea what goes on there. This business should have taken responsibility for this incident and if they don't and my insurance pays I will be taking them to small claims court. read more
