I'm very happy with this enterprise, usually I get set up with a sedan which makes me very uncomfortable since I drive a lifted taco. The young man I spoke with on the phone I think his name was Ashton hooked me up with a sweet Nissan Frontier because of that fact which was awesome. I'm happy they consider the vehicle you already drive. I was hit by a tire and wheel that rocketed off the President George bush turnpike and homing missiled my truck with me and my cat in it about to step out to the vet. It was crazy! This happened after business hours and unfortunately during spring break so enterprise was very busy but they were able to hook me up with a great ride that doesn't make me feel extremely anxious to get my truck back, fingers crossed the insurance company doesn't total it out. This was supposed to be our second time renting from this location during our visit to Plano for a work seminar. On 3/15/26 at around 10am, the man from the counter gave us an unforgettable experience dealing with an Enterprise employee from this location. Initially we booked through Enterprise's phone service to ensure that we would have a reservation before going to the actual location to pick up the car. We paid for an Uber to get us to the location. Upon arriving, there was one man working at the counter. He was informed that we had a reservation. Upon checking, he informed us that there are no cars available anymore. He proceeded to complain that the booking was done 30mins prior and that they have 60-80 pick ups and drop offs from yesterday and that day to work on. Another coworker of his came in during that time and they both complained about their day/work on a Sunday. When asked if there is any other Enterprise location that has an available car to rent. We were brushed off to figure it out for ourselves because he needs to help another customer that came in. There was just one customer after us. So we just went outside to figure out our next best option, which is renting from a different company. Our jobs require us to provide customer service as well, I get the stress that a job gives a person. But don't be so obvious about it though. Try to learn how to manage it especially if you're right infront of a customer. It is so off-putting. At the end of the day, as an employee of the company you signed up to do the job. For Enterprise, I think the current reservation system needs to be looked into. The reservation service through the phone or online needs to match with the actual location. In situations like these, it just causes unnecessary stress and is just a waste of our time. read more

Wow. Where can I even begin. The lady was sooo rude to us. And on top of that, they mention they need a car on file with the drivers name on the forms at the END of everything. We ended up being there for 2 hours and canceled it all. Like why tell us at the end? And the audacity to say go open a bank account and put in $50 and then come back and give us that card to put on file. Like why not tell us before we begin so we're aware? My dad doesn't have a bank account with a card. This was the wildest experience. Horrible. read more

I rented here for the first time on 7/5 my birthday. I wasn't really planning anything fancy but just wanted to drive something other than my vehicle :) upon the last minute booking on my behalf! I wasn't literally in and out and I also didn't have a problem with the vehicle. The customer service was amazing and although I kept the vehicle 2 days extra it was worth it. VERY BAD customer service. I had a Holman fleet reservation (national company) made yesterday afternoon and the fleet company said for me to call them directly because my rental was ready and they could pick me up. I called right before 3 pm and sat holding for 1 hour listening to a standard recording in a loop the whole time. As I sat holding after the first 15 minutes, I used a second phone to dial this location and still sat on hold. So then I did the online chat and was assured that this customer service rep sent them a direct message to call me about my reservation. I still sat on hold, so I took a 3rd phone I had access to and called the 800 enterprise number and was told by that representative that she sent a direct message for them to call me and assured me they had plenty of time before closing to call me back. By this time I had been on hold almost 1 hour. It is now after 8:30 am the following day, and no phone call still. I am only 1 person, so my business as 1 person will not matter to this establishment. If it did, they would have a way to filter calls or have a system where you can get a call back in order to get picked up as they advertise. They obviously get plenty of business so my little inconvenience and review won't matter to them, but just beware if you need a pick up and try to call them. They false advertise and will not anwer or return a phone call. UPDATE: Just noticed on the BBB website this location has a rating as an F so obviously my experience is typical of this location. This Enterprise location seems to strive for bad customer service and excels at that. read more

Even though I didn't end up purchasing from this dealer, Sean was nothing but helpful and respectful which is almost impossible to find in a car salesman. When I told him I wouldn't be purchasing from Enterprise he wasn't upset he understood and let me know I'm always welcome. I was referred to Enterprise by my Texans Credit Union loan officer who gave me the telephone number to call. Susan Bergmann answered the phone, I told her that I needed to trade my car in for two cars. My need was to help my son acquire a vehicle and get into a smaller one for myself. She took information needed to see if I qualified. Susan suggested I keep my vehicle and just purchase one. That was a great idea!! We completed that process and made an appointment for the next morning. Turns out, my son was available to meet that evening; I contacted Susan to change our appointment. In my many dealings with car dealerships and sales consultants, I have NEVER been treated in such a respectful and considerate manner. No pressure whatsoever!! Susan and her co-workers were so good to us!! Susan was the ultimate professional and so personable. She is such a joy and treated me as though I was part of her family!! We didn't need to spend hours there as Susan qualified me when we were on the phone. Saved us a lot of time!! I told her what I needed and she had the most beautiful vehicle waiting outside. My son and I took a test drive and it was love at first site for me!! We drove my new used vehicle home. I call it "My Rogue One!" I will be referring family and friends to this Plano location!! I rented from Enterprise on 12-7-23 due to an accident. Repairs have taken longer than usual & Geico only covers my rental for 30 days. Neither one of those items is an issue. This is not my 1st Enterprise rental (started booking w/Enterprise in 1985 & have continued to use Enterprise at least 95% of the time) including the last year 2 years (2022-2023) & my request for prior notice for charging my credit card # was never an issue. I use Enterprise due to its exceptional customer service. My experience with the Plano location is that they do not provide or reflect the Enterprise customer service standards, not even close! I am shocked Enterprise would allow personnel like the one that calls me & leaves nasty messages threatening me. Her issue is with the Plano Enterprise office, not with me although, she has made it my problem. I always request I receive notice from Enterprise if they do not do it already, whenever the staff runs my credit card for additional fees or additional time. The Plano office failed to provide me with such notice, which I then requested from them & I reported my request to Enterprise Corporate which I was advised the service would again be provided going forward (1-10-23). This should not have been an issue, but the Plano office failed to call me when they wanted to charge my card # & they would run charges that would get declined due to a "lock" on my stolen credit card #'s. Instead of calling me, providing me with notice they were charging my card #, they just kept charging it & then receive declines & then call me & threaten me. It was like a game. This week, they again failed to provide me notice, they tried to run my card # multiple times, the charge was declined & the threatening calls started on Monday, 2-5-24. I called the Plano office, asked for the person ("Bernie") that left me the threatening messages, but I was told she was not available. So, the guy that answered the phone offered to help me. The male associate who was extremely helpful & polite, advised me that since they had tried to charge my card # several times already on Tuesday, they would need to wait until Wednesday to charge again. He asked if they could call me the next morning (2-7-24) so I could unlock my card # & of course I said yes. I suggested they charge the rental fees through next Monday which is the day my Repair Shop says my car will be ready to pick up (My repair shop is behind Enterprise's Plano office), so this would not happen again, assuming my repair shop returns my car on this coming Monday & I do not need to extend my rental another few days. I did not hear from Enterprise on Wednesday morning, so I called after lunch & left a VM for someone to call me back so they could run my card #. No one called me until the afternoon of 2-8-24 I received a threatening call from a woman stating Enterprise had been trying to charge my card # every day this week & it was repeatedly declined & they were not going to try to charge my card # again & they are going to commence repossessing the car immediately, on & on. I am so surprised that an Enterprise associate is making such a call, especially since day 1 I said do not charge my card # until AFTER giving me a heads up. Enterprise has done that for me on my rentals FOR YEARS, it is not a big deal to make a 3-minute phone call (if that long) or send a text. It's simple customer service that Enterprise normally provides. I would think most customers would request or want this service. I cannot believe Enterprise would support their associates treating clients the way I have been treated on this rental. I request management make notice of my complaint & they have the rude, unprofessional & threatening associate let another associate that reflects the Enterprise standard of customer service "finish-out" the remaining days on this rental. Question to Yelper's: Do most customers want a call, text or email notice BEFORE a rental car company charges additional rental or fees to the customers credit card? Scam artists overcharging clients I was told Huffines will pay for my rental as my truck was in service. They charged me $120.00 for one day! I called the manager who told me it was a mistake and that the employee should have told me that trucks cost extra (even though I had one in service). They NEVER reversed the charge. If you as a business manager respond, I challenge you to let your laziness end and reach out to the customers. I have given my review here and instead of sounding good here, I'm challenging you to reaching out to the customer. We as clients have some enough and have put up with very poor service. So far let me ask you- if you respond to the client should you not try to call them? Why do we have to do all the work here while folks at your facility has been acting like they want everything on the silver spoon. Have you read the reviews below from some customers. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Made reservations for rental a 2 day rental, called this location to let them know that I needed someone to pick me up, immediately was told that they don't do pickups on Sundays and they are understaff today.... I found that very hard to believe bc your company clearly advertise this service commercially and doesn't states anything about the service not being offered on a Sunday.... In addition, I remember in the past picking up a vehicle at another location on a Sunday and seeing reps dropping customers off and also picking up them up so my day wasn't off to a good start..... Ended up paying a Lyft driver to take me to Enterprise which I wasn't too happy about..... Got the vehicle, ended up getting their insurance(prior experience preference) and left the location..... Within 5 minutes down the highway, a messages appears on the dashboard and it kept making a noise so I immediately contacted the store to make them aware.... I was told by Rena that it had to do something with the sensors in the front mirror.... I decided to take the vehicle back only to find out that I would have to wait another 30 minutes to an hour for another vehicle to become available instead of just upgrading me for the inconvenience.... He noted my account with the reported issues and I left..... The sole purpose of this rental was to have a way to a dealership to purchase another vehicle since my original vehicle was totaled due to an prior accident...... The next day I get up bright and early and head out to the dealership before it's time to return the rental at 12 noon only to find out that it's a nail in the tire.... I call the store, Rena answers! I tell him what's going on with the car yet again and he then asks me if I could change the tire!? I'm shocked I responded no I'm not changing anything! He then asked me should he call road side assistance or could I drive it to the nearest Firestone..... I googled Firestone that wasn't far away and went there.... Got there and maybe a couple people were ahead of me, I was under the impression that it would be a quick fix(in and out) type of service from what I was told by Rena at Enterprise..... I waited approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes for a tire to be plugged so I thought..... I was very upset bc I spent my entire morning at a repair shop! I had an appointment at the car dealership salesman at 9a.m. I called Enterprise upset and very disTurbed bc here I am getting a car serviced that the company should've already done...... Yes some things are beyond our control, I get it but after I discovered thaT the guy was waiting to get paid by Enterprise first before working on the car and changing not one but two tires I was so annoyed bc he didn't communicate any of the to me..... I call Enterprise again to let them know what was going on and Rena asked to speak with the guy at Firestone bc he was only suppose to fix the tire with the nail in it..... Gets back on the phone with Rena to let him know that i won't be makIng in time to drop off at 12 bc I've been here all morning and haven't made it to the dealership yet...... He then asks me "well what do you want me to do"!? Excuse me! We had words which resulted in him hanging up in my face while I was still communicating with him(very inappropriate as a manager by the way)... I call back and asked to speak with his manager, which was sent via email.... He then tells me that 6p.m. is the lastest I can return the vehicle.... Unacceptable ! At this point I'm very upset and being treated in such a manner that no paying customer has to go through... No apologies, no addressing the issues, no upgrades, no nothing.... I called corporate to report the issue to later be transferred back to the store where I then spoke with another guy..... He was very calm, professional, and helpful! I talked with him the entire time I was headed to the dealership and he told me that I could bring the rental Back in the morning or they could pick it up...... Thank God we stopped by the dealership the day before so we knew what we wanted..... After all of what transpired that day, I wanted to be completely done with the rental so I made it 30 minutes before closing...... Rena wanted to be polite and assist me in person.... After paying for the rental, he then asks me "how can I make it right"!? I declined ANY and ALL offers affiliated with Enterprise..... His actions were unacceptable to say the least and nothing will Ever be done from his actions.... Update: Management still haven't reached out or shown any type of concern..... My job requires me to travel 75% of the time. I rent a lot of cars. However, I am not brand loyal. When I book a car I go with whoever is cheaper (between Avis/Dollar/Enterprise). Often, that's not Enterprise. I accumulated some points and decided to rent a car for a weekend trip to Houston (I have a lease I'm trying to keep the miles down on!) & this particular location is right by my house. I called the day of (a little over 2 hours in advance) to request a pick-up. Jordan scheduled it right away and the driver called an hour ahead of time to confirm the pick-up. The driver was on-time (early). Upon arrival, Jordan greeted me by name and quickly got me on my way. Enterprise vehicles have always been clean and maintained; while I can't say the same for some other rental agencies. I would recommend this location. read more

Very disappointing experience going through this branch. I have been attempting to rent a car for them for 3 weeks now. Each time I am told my reservation is booked and will be ready. Every time I have attempted to pick up a car they do not have anything in stock or have lost my reservation. The staff is not willing to take accountability or try to be helpful. Left on hold numerous times when trying to reach someone over the phone. Attempted to discuss this with the manager but still have not been able to reach anyone. This is not a customer oriented Enterprise franchise. They used to be good but the staff today was an embarrassment to the brand. I have used this location every time my car was in for bodywork. They normally take care of you. Not today. They have failed on so many levels. I tried to try obtain a rental at this facility as I dropped off my car for bodywork. I tried to reserve online but their online reservation application did not function correctly. So then I tried calling. I thought maybe they were too busy but it turns out they do not answer the phone(I will get this later). I arrived at the facility to try to get a car and they gave me options as my option was not available. They told me that they will have more cars tomorrow. That's fine since I was not in a hurry. I asked for a ride home since it is Enterprise. That's what they are known for. At first they said they could and then they changed their mind. They gave me some excuse that they could no longer provide that service since their driver was not available and it is closing time. How could they send their driver home when people drop off their cars? Don't they need rides too? They must have really wanted to go home. I asked if they knew which cars were coming in tomorrow so that I do not waste my time and theirs. They couldn't tell me but were assuring me that my car type would be available. Here's the kicker. They then proceeded to tell me that it is my fault for not making a reservation. I told them that I tried but the online app was not working and that I didn't call. As the verbal exchange was taking place they have allowed the phone to ring for a long time without any movement to answer the phones. They actually don't pick up any calls. They had 2 guys just sitting there ignoring the calls because it was closing time. I tried to give these guys a chance to redeem themselves but one person made it perfectly clear that they did not want me there. He was accusatory and unapologetic. Very unprofessional. So I'm taking my business elsewhere. I suggest you do the same unless you want to be treated like they are doing you a favor. read more

I rent cars here for work 2-3 times a month. It's a very nice location with lots of cars and a modern lobby. The manager (Molly) has a great team of professional associates who get me on my way in usually less than 5 minutes. When I need a ride typically Larry picks me up and one of the team drive me home. They are really nice and the conversations are comfortable and interesting while we drive. If you need to rent a car, I would highly recommend trying out this specific location of Enterprise. It's on Plano Parkway in the same complex with the new Enterprise Car Sales. read more

I called the place and the machine said they were open till 1 pm on sundays. I travel a far distance and get a ride from a friend to arrive and see on the door they are closed. I bought a new Mazda CX-5 a few weeks ago and it was a fantastic experience. I got a great, no haggle, price and the car was exactly as I expected based on the website photos and description. Christian was awesome and knew so much about the car even though they have tons of different makes and models. The whole process took about 2 hours and was painless. I went back a few days later and I was greeted by Christian and Brian (manager) who thanked me for choosing Enterprise. That was certainly not required but was a really nice touch. We will definitely be back when we need another car and I highly recommend checking them out. Location was on Plano Parkway near Ohio. read more

As my personal car gets older, I like to on occasion rent a newer model to travel down the perilous I-35 to visit family. I had never rented from this particular Enterprise, however I will tell you that this location WILL DEFINITELY be my go to from now on!! I made arrangements via their website to rent a car last week. Their manager, Jordan followed up with a phone call that same day. I'm telling ya this guy was the bomb! Personable, knowledgeable and so upbeat!! Upon picking up the car I was pleasantly surprised that I had been upgraded to a MUCH nicer model than I had expected. Thank you Jordan for taking such good care of me, and I truly appreciate your customer service. So, if you're looking to rent a car and have a positive experience in doing so, I highly suggest this Enterprise Rent-A-Car location!
