All went well with no issues. I find all National Car rentals to be consistent. I would recommend to others.

We came here so we didn't have to deal with a used car salesman. Turns out it's not that different…read more They sold me a "certified" car that had passed all of these points of inspection, only to find out that the compressor had to be replaced and the clutch was burned out. To their credit, they did pay for the repair. But it took multiple trips to the repair shop and was a huge time suck for something that was never supposed to happen. Still waiting on a $100 check to reimburse my pre-purchase inspection, and for a part to be ordered for my roof rack. I talked to another mom at the childcare who had also bought the same model of car at Enterprise. She said her car had waterlines on it-- it was probably flooded. And she didn't know until she had already bought the car and was cleaning it. I would NOT trust the certification process. Bring it to your own mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection before your 7 day return window is up. Make sure they fix everything before the 7 days is up.

I said I wanted something that was gas friendly. He said he has a Dodge Charger or Nissan Altima. I said which ever is gas friendly. We went to the garage to look at both cars, only one was available, the Charger. I asked about the Altima and he said it would be about 20 minutes to get it and they are getting ready to close. So my thought is how are you going to offer me two car options and only have one available. Then the white Dodge Charger looked grey because it was so dirty. They can have this not gas friendly car back. I look forward to my car finally getting done. It's been over two weeks. I hope my future experience with Enterprise will be better.

***Do NOT rent a vehicle from this location. Beware of their "false damage claims"…read more This location is really a daylight robbery. My rental was arranged by my insurance company and Enterprise arranged a pick up from the Park Place Lexus location and drove me to the Enterprise at this location. When I was checking out the vehicle, even then also the guy at the counter did not just tell me about the optional insurance through them but in a mysterious way mentioned that if the vehicle will have damages then the insurance through us will cover it. My gut feeling caught the negative vibe but I had to get to my job so I ignored. They took my credit card for a $50 hold and had me initial the rental agreement. I thought they will give me a form to walk around the vehicle and inspect for pre-existing damages/dings/scratches, but they didnt give me one. I felt its arranged by my insurance company and they may have a business-to-business relationship with each other so they are more relaxed. When I reached home, the same evening my husband pointed out several dings/scratches and asked me "did you document all these?" I said, "I didnt. They didnt give the form to inspect and I assumed it wont be a big deal." Today, Friday, I dropped the vehicle back around 10am at the Park Place Lexus Plano from where I had to pick mine. Then suddenly around 5:50pm central, received a voicemail about the "damages" to the returned rental vehicle from this scam rental location. This location is really into unfair and unethical ways of creating false damage claims. I tried calling the next minute around 5:52pm but no one, as you expect from scams, answered the call. How can in just one minute the staff left and didnt bother to take the call? I havent talked to the location since they wont open until Monday now but I am super confident that they will mention all the scratches/dings that my husband pointed out the very first day I brought the rental car. Like bottom of the front air dam/splitter was scratched, key scratch towards the rear bumper right below trunk in the center, and there were quite a few minor scratches on the front and the rear bumper. We already were victim in a hit-and-run thats why we needed a rental while ours was being repaired. Now these false damage claims are adding more headaches/stress to the already stressed mind. We have been getting rentals nationwide and did many roadtrips from one coast to another and NEVER once ran into such issue of being slapped by false damage claims. One thing to note is: we were always given a form to inspect the vehicle for damages ALWAYS in the past and we did our due diligence. This location didnt provide one, and now it looks like we took the bait of their scam by not filling the damage form at check out. We will dispute it and I will report this location at all social media, friends & family, for its unethical claims to milk unfair money from insurances and innocent customers. Here's what to do when you rent a car: * Take pictures of every dent or scratch on the body, interior, wheels and glass before you drive away--including under the front air dam. If they send you a claim, you can tell them you have pictures of all those damages before you drove away. Unless the car is brand new, chances are there'll be some damage you'll want to capture. * Ask an employee to document all scratches and dents before you drive the car. Some companies require you to document any damages on a special form. On a recent trip to Salt Lake City, a car rental company handed me a damage form along with the keys and asked me to inspect the car, make a note of all damages and bring the form back to the counter before I drove away. It's a good thing I did, as the car was heavily scratched and dented and I could have been liable for those damages if I was in a hurry and just drove off. In the decades that I've rented cars, this is the first time a company has claimed any damage, so chances are likely slim that this will happen to you, too. But if it does, and you haven't properly documented the pre-existing damage, here's what you can do: * Ask for time-stamped photos that were taken immediately before you drove the car off the lot. Otherwise, how do you know that a previous renter or one of their own employees didn't damage the car before you got it? * Ask for time-stamped photos that were taken immediately after you returned the car. You'll want to make sure that someone else didn't damage the car after you returned it. * If the company's representatives are completely uncooperative, report the firm to legal authorities in the state where you rented the car. Nobody wants to get an expensive bill for damages they didn't cause. It's especially frustrating when it's a rental car in another city, leaving consumers feeling like they have no choice but to pay up. But by taking some precautionary steps you can save yourself time, money and frustration.

I arrived on Monday, August 11, 2025 to pick up my rental at 7:45 a.m., which was 15 minutes after they open to see an employee and three customers waiting outside for the manager to arrive with the keys, as he was running late for work. This completely threw off my work day, as my day starts at 6 am and I left work to pick up the rental with hopes of returning to work within 30 minutes. I knew immediately that wasn't going to happen. If waiting for the late employee wasn't enough, I then had to wait for the young lady to take the subaru to the back for cleaning, as it was just returned. While I was waiting, the gentleman that was running late informed me there was another option so that I wouldn't have to wait any longer. At that point I didn't care that it was a jeep and that it was on empty, as I needed to return to work as soon as possible. I immediately put gas in the empty vehicle, and when I made it to the highway, numerous warning lights came on regarding the ABS features, crash control features were disabled, an image of the vehicle crashing kept appearing on the screen, the tires were low on air and all the fluid levels were low. I had to stop again to put air in the tires and numerous servicing lights kept popping up, but I only needed the rental for a few days so I didn't make a big fuss of these things. When I was informed that I would be in the rental longer than expected, I called to exchange the vehicle and explained all the issues I was having, but the person I spoke with seemed bothered that I was calling and informed me that I couldn't exchange the vehicle unless I could make it to Plano before 5. It was 4:30 and I was coming from Garland so that wasn't going to happen. I asked if I could exchange the vehicle on Saturday, but was informed that they were closed on Saturday, therefore, I stayed in the rental and dealt with the numerous annoying service issues constantly appearing on the screen until I returned the rental on August 22nd. I will NEVER rent from this location again.

I always recommend calling ahead and making sure the place has whatever car you want. In my case, I…read moreneeded a truck. The folks are very patient and helped me sort things out with my insurance. FYI, make sure you have your insurance policy number because it moves things along MUCH faster.
