I reserved it short notice so the team contacted me early the next morning to let me know it would be ready later than I reserved online. They texted me, which is much more convenient than phone calls. The team was very polite and knowledgeable. They upgraded my vehicle at no additional charge, which more than made up for the very poor experience I had the day prior at another location. Everything was quick and convenient. I would highly recommend this location if you can afford the more expensive vehicle.

Fast forward 15 minutes...I'm already in my Lyft on my way up to the Plano location when the manager calls me to tell me they do not have anything available, I'm like WTF!!! I'm loking at my email on my iPhone and I have a confirmation, whaddaya mean you don't have a car? He gives me some BS that the system has some lag and that their availability is not really "live time" or some shit like that. I tell him I'm already $12.00 into my Lyft ride on my way up there and all he can do is apologize and says "I can continue to come up there but he cannot garauntee he'll have any cars available when I get up there. I rented a full sized vehicle at this location last week and ran into some maintenance problems with the car that needed to be addressed. I called to inquire about swapping the vehicle and was told their vehicle inventory at the local branch office was low and nothing in my class was available. Expectation wise they fell short and this was not the experience I would typically associate with their brand. I spoke with Tanner at the location and he was able to go above and beyond in order to correct things after giving him a detailed list of problems with the vehicle. He went ahead and deducted the one-way fee off the rental for my inconvenience which is exactly why I will keep renting from Enterprise in the future as they are customer centric by listening to my concerns. I would say that my rental car trouble was a one-off as a result of a very busy Thanksgiving week and not a representative reflection of all vehicles on their lot. Hence I am giving them a benefit of a doubt here since the experience overall with the branch has been very courteous. Maybe there is no overlap, but when i called about Dollar Rental, they stated we are Hertz. Then that was it, no inquiry or ask if they could assist with a car rental. Makes sense. Yes you should have a credit card if you don't want a hold on your debit card. People seem to be nasty to staff because they don't understand the basics of renting a car. I prepaid online to save money, used my loyalty number with Budget and presented my drivers license and credit card. They were out of the class of car I booked, again out of their control, and put me in another car which was an upgrade. Awesome. Once we turned in the car Dave thoughtfully followed up with a quick call to get my email so he could send me a receipt. Great dervice. They also allow you to photograph any damage there may be on the car before you take it out of the parking lot and you can email pics for proof. So much better than going back inside. However, I always rent from National when I fly and Enterprise service had been awful as of late, so I decided to give this local NCR a chance. I made a very good decision. Every time I have rented from this National location I have been treated extremely well, the cars have been clean, and I have gotten in and out fairly quick both when renting and upon return. If I had any negative, it is one shared by others here, and that is there is rarely more than one person workking the front, so if there are a few renters the wait can be longer than it should be..

I arrived on Monday, August 11, 2025 to pick up my rental at 7:45 a.m., which was 15 minutes after they open to see an employee and three customers waiting outside for the manager to arrive with the keys, as he was running late for work. This completely threw off my work day, as my day starts at 6 am and I left work to pick up the rental with hopes of returning to work within 30 minutes. I knew immediately that wasn't going to happen. If waiting for the late employee wasn't enough, I then had to wait for the young lady to take the subaru to the back for cleaning, as it was just returned. While I was waiting, the gentleman that was running late informed me there was another option so that I wouldn't have to wait any longer. At that point I didn't care that it was a jeep and that it was on empty, as I needed to return to work as soon as possible. I immediately put gas in the empty vehicle, and when I made it to the highway, numerous warning lights came on regarding the ABS features, crash control features were disabled, an image of the vehicle crashing kept appearing on the screen, the tires were low on air and all the fluid levels were low. I had to stop again to put air in the tires and numerous servicing lights kept popping up, but I only needed the rental for a few days so I didn't make a big fuss of these things. When I was informed that I would be in the rental longer than expected, I called to exchange the vehicle and explained all the issues I was having, but the person I spoke with seemed bothered that I was calling and informed me that I couldn't exchange the vehicle unless I could make it to Plano before 5. It was 4:30 and I was coming from Garland so that wasn't going to happen. I asked if I could exchange the vehicle on Saturday, but was informed that they were closed on Saturday, therefore, I stayed in the rental and dealt with the numerous annoying service issues constantly appearing on the screen until I returned the rental on August 22nd. I will NEVER rent from this location again.
