My father in law rented a car here a few months ago after a bad encounter with Budget and had a really great experience, so when my wife and I planned our mini vacation last week there was no question who we were going to go with for renting a car. We have a car but traveling with 2 kids in a cramped car is not a good time so we rented a mid size SUV from this location for a week and a half. They were super busy that morning yet still had our vehicle ready to go at the reserved time. Alvaro was great! We picked up and dropped off the car with him and he was incredibly helpful. He took the time to go over everything and answered all of our questions. We were very happy with the SUV, it was freshly washed, the interior was clean, gas tank was full, and it was well maintained. Thanks to Alvaro the entire process was seemless and fast. I had my car packed for an out of town trip and it broke down a mile down the road. Rushed to make a reservation at Olympia office, secured over the phone with representative. Got to the office right before closing and within 20 minutes of making reservation and was told, apathetically, that they had just rented their last vehicle. They said that the person I made the reservation with isn't physically in their office, and that they could maybe find a car for me next day or I could drive an hour north and get one in Seatac, maybe. Wasted all my last nerves, daughter's gas and our energy with these clowns. If you are going to make reservations for people, make damn sure that the car is RESERVED. Steer clear of this branch at least (maybe the whole agency) I used to be a huge fan of Enterprise and used them in my career dozens of times a year. This local office unfortunately is absolutely a mess. Their manager (Zach) lacks the integrity to simply admit to an error he made that left my wife stranded. His staff called us on a Sunday to make absolutely sure we'd be there to pick up the car on a Monday morning and then Zach incorrectly read the reservation info from the insurance company. Look, people make mistakes but when you can't or won't admit to them, then it's just an indicator of inexperience and a general lack of integrity. Additionally Zach claimed to be "with the home office" (to try and keep me from reporting him) - of course that wasn't true he's a local manager of a very small office. read more

Have been renting from the Capitol Auto Mall Enterprise Rent-a-car for a few years now. When I went to pick my car up, I was informed that I am on the "Do Not Rent" list because my daughter was an unauthorized driver and there was damage to the vehicle. So I rent a vehicle to be fuel efficient and get a small car. So good with this. I leave the lot in Olympia WA and the car overheat sign comes on. I pull over and call. They say come back. I do and a guy drives it fast around the corner. comes back and says I did not see a light. Gives me his card and says call if you have any issues. Next morning, my son and I leave early. We leave Olympia, get to only Fife, the car freaks the overheat light comes on. We go to a gas station, instead I call the 800 number. She is not rude but not nice. Directs me to another Enterprise. This guy gives me a dirty ass car, not vacuumed, smells like a dirty diaper, and says Sorry its all we have. Like there are tons of other cars. He says that it matches my contract. The tires are sad looking on the tread. I have no time to waste, say thanks, we leave. Get back and return it early. I was so mad about the whole thing, I return it early. Get to Olympia, the manager comes out because i return early. I tell him everything that happened. He says well I can give you 96 dollars back but that is it. I was so tired and done i said ok, fine. 2 week later this company that treated me like garbage, gave me 2 poorly taken care of vehicles and still charge me money, says I got a ticket and takes money out of my account without permission. Overdrafts my account! I said I will pay if I get a copy of the ticket. They just took it. So I am pretty sure I should file with the Attorney Generals Office. Someone needs to investigate these thief's. read more

Years ago, a different Enterprise soured me on Enterprise for life by charging my credit card put on file for taxes and incidentals in the middle of the night eleven months after the rental for an unpaid amount that was due from the body shop not me. Anyway they earned one of the very few one star reviews I have ever written. This Enterprise was a pleasant surprise. The enterprise nearest me didn't have cars available when I needed one and kindly let me know to try this location. I was in a car accident and the other person's insurance sent me to Enterprise. This location got me a car quickly, communicated with me when they were told my rental would be due and were very helpful in letting me drop the vehicle off at the body shop just prior to closing on a Friday so the car had to sit til Monday morning for a pick up. They even called me to let me know they got paid and had returned my security deposit. All in all, they are not my first choice for car rental but it did make me feel more confident in using them if needed. read more

They do not honor promises. I was in an accident and my insurance company contracts with enterprise Rent-A-Car. They did not have any cars available on the day of my accident. I called to arrange a pick up from my house, since my car was totaled, and they were planning on picking me up on Friday at 1 PM. I called them at around 11:30 to make sure that they were still on their way and they informed me they were not able to pick me up because I was too far away. The Customer Service rep had told me that their radius is 60 miles. I live approximately 25 miles away. I asked if I could have my spouse rent it for me, and they said yes. I arrange to have them rent it at 12:30 and they called me back approximately 10 minutes after I hung up to tell me that they did not have a car available. I am beyond frustrated with them. They do not honor what their corporate arranges. Their customer service is ridiculously poor. And I found it ironic that their hold message was that they work well with people to get what they need done. Not even close! read more

Made reservations for a 15 passenger van two weeks in advance. Two hours prior to pick up they called and said they didn't have the van. Was told they would continue to look for one. Went into their office and was told that the person that was renting their one and only van reserved it for an additional week so they dropped me for a more lucrative offer. Most of the staff here are very young yet very knowledgeable. They are also patient, respectful and empathetic to your situation. Just waiting in the lobby-- I noticed the manager (Nicole) politely lend an ear to a woman who simply wanted to vent about her difficult car repair situation (which had nothing to do with them) for a good 5 minutes. The gentleman who helped me was Nick. He was very efficient and respectful of my time. Will be using them again if necessary; BEST Enterprise location that I've yet to come across. read more

oh me oh my ... where to start? This story can get super long, so let me just cut to the point. This isn't our first car rental from here, but its most defiantly the first time we have had the car attempt to shut down on the freeway. Mama and her girl cubs (Myself, the other 2 daughters, her grandbaby and her other grandbaby that is developing in a womb). We were on the way back from our first trip to Great Wolf Lodge. All smiles while conversing, when all of a sudden the car started to act odd and Mama said something popped up on the dash about reducing speed engine shutting down on a 33,000 mile vehicle. Mama went into an instant panic and wanted to pull over. Myself and pregnant Sister encouraged her to keep on driving. My Sister in the midst of all this had already dialed up customer service. To say the least, the operator was not helpful and we feel made the situation worst!!! Thank you Jesus we were able to at least successfully roll to this Enterprise. Upon arrival, they were already being informed of the situation as per the notes or call they got from the operator. We heard a bunch of " no we cant put them in that. there is only one car on the lot....ect." Oh no Mama wasn't having it after what we just went through. I didnt mention it was pouring down raining , semi's were honking while sandwiching us in between them, we were getting big water splashed on the windows, cars were upset, but what were we to do when the car wouldn't go pass 50?? It was 20 minutes or so of pure anxiety!! I could go on and on and on, but I am just going to leave it at this... We were placed in the hands of Sam Davis and at the end of the trauma, He found a solution and made it happen. The day of the rental. One Sister had already flown back home and well I had to stay behind to watch our Niece, so no one accompanied Mom to go return this rental. We were concerned , She would allow them to give her any old resolution that isn't suitable to what WE endured. When Mama returned she advised after it was all said and done, they only charged her ONE rental day opposed to the THREE we had it. She was happy overall how it all turned out. I can say confidently WE WILL rent again and WE are so grateful for SAM having a heart and making it right! read more

I had reserved a suburban because I needed the space to pick up 7 people from the airport. Had my reservation confirmed got the email etc. I get to the location and they don't have a suburban. The biggest car they had was a 5 seater. I said there would be 7 people that wont work. I was told they tried calling me, but the phone number was wrong. They said it was a 12 digit number on file...you can't even input a 12 digit number. Needless to say my email was on file, my info was on file, I've rented from here before. No other form of contact was tried. Just gave up. They didn't have a car for me, I wasn't able to get my party from the airport, they didn't give me a ride home even tho they had 5-7 people walking around. So I had to take a $35 Lyft home. Great experience here! The customer service was on point. My spouse and I did reserve a car but realized that it was too small for the 6 ft tall men that we'll be traveling with. We also realized that with insurance, renting a car for a week was way over our budget. However, Shaina (SP?) was patient and super helpful. She never looked inconvenient and waited for us patiently to make decisions. She even worked with us to ensure we didn't go over our budget. We didn't get to rent the car for a week, but it's all good. My spouse and I really enjoyed the service here and will definitely be back whenever we need a car to rent. read more

Enterprise Rent-A-Car - Nissan Sentra - Car Rental Near Me - Olympia, Washington

I needed to rent a car for three days for local driving (we are one car short this week due to college daughter taking our second car for a trip). Enterprise at Capitol Auto Mall in Olympia is the closest to us and I have rented from them before. The car I was assigned (Jetta) was fine on the outside but reeked of deodorizer on the inside, so much that when I left the sunroof and windows open, an hour later I could still smell the car parked 50 yards away. The inside also hadn't been cleaned well - dirt on the seats, smudges all over the windshield and an oily handprint on the seat back of the leather seats. I've never returned a rental car before but given the powerful odor, this one had to be returned. This is where Enterprise Capitol auto mall comes through. I called and then returned the car to the manager (Rob) - no problems at all, happy to switch it out, and when the replacement car still had some mud marks on the inside floor, her personally drove it through the cleaning station to be corrected and then easily facilitated the swap. Cars are basically the same at rental car agencies. What separates the good ones is that managers care and make extra effort to satisfy customers. A+ for this location on the most important factor. read more

We had a terrible experience with this location. We reserved a car months ahead and asked specifically for a car with a sunroof. We were told to call 24 hours ahead so they could reserve it for us when we came. We did so and we're told no problem. When we arrived, no cars had sunroofs. The whole point was the sunroof so the kids could see a drive through dinosaur exhibit better. Even though I explicitly told the sales lady I had already purchased insurance and we didn't want the agency one, she took advantage of an opportunity while I was dealing with the children to convince my boyfriend to get the second insurance policy they offer in addition to the 3rd party policy I already told her about. They told us another car would be there and we could choose between the one without the sunroof and the one coming but they didn't know if it had a sunroof. We waited half an hour for it and it also had no sunroof. Honestly I don't know why we let her convince us to keep our reservation since they were unable to honor our needs, but we felt pressured and obligated. The staff knew we also were taking the children to the drive in, yet the car we were given had a feature that didn't allow you to use the radio without the car engine being on. When we wrote a letter to the manager immediately following, no one bothered to respond to even say that shouldn't have happened and they are sorry. I've never had such an uncomfortable experience with any rental cat agency before. I definitely advise choosing somewhere else for your rental car needs. read more

In February my fiance and I were rear-ended during the snow storm. We were told to go through enterprise to get a rental car. We worked with Graham and he took care of us from the word go. When we initially got the rental, we added damage insurance, because we were told by the insurance company to get it. Unfortunately the insurance company refused to pay it, so we paid half and Graham took care of the rest. He made this whole process so easy and took so much stress off of us. This review is directed at Brooklynn Carper Zanto, the Assistant manager at Enterprise Rent a Car at the Olympia Wa, Carriage street, location, and to her supervisors whom it may concern. I have been a longtime business customer of Enterprise, and spend a couple thousand dollars on rentals for my business every year for at least the last decade. Brooklynn Carper Zanto is by far the absolute worst person to deal with at this location, with a short temper, fragile ego, and clear impatience to service her customers. I am appalled that with such a long standing history with Enterprise and zero incidences in the past, Brooklynn Carper Zanto has single handedly caused enterprise to lose a loyal client in me, and that the management at this location would let such an unqualified angry and offensive person be considered for a management position. I have never had any incidences in the past with enterprise, nor with any customer service rep at another business, nor have ever written a bad review on yelp before, however after being talked down to, insulted, ridiculed, and treated highly offensively by her, even so far as being shouted at out of nowhere for "how I must treat my wife and women," whom wasn't even present and regardless had no reason to blurt out such a comment, I will do whatever I can to make sure that Brooklynn Carper Zanto and her actions will be dealt with by her superiors. Aside from her absurd comments, she continued to speak very aggressively at me, at times raising her voice aggressively and nearly shouting, and continued to make sarcastic, condescending, and patronizing facial expressions to her coworkers, and other's at the location. I have no idea why she would make such comments and harass me in such a way, after all, I am a customer who simply came to renew a contract in a very standard manner, and can only deduce it to be her bigotry because I am from middle eastern descent !! Enterprise Rent-A-Car located in the Tumwater area has succeeded in partnering/hiring people of exceptional customer service. They were warm, welcoming, kind in their phone and desk service. They're kindness alleviated my personal angst in the process of renting a car, thank you. It appeared they honored the choices I made (I.e. using my own insurance for my coverage), attempted to use and tell me about 'discounts' to lower my rent (I.e. I chose to use my Costco card, rent from one location and return to a different location, over a two week period). I believe they are or have moved to a new location since my rental time. I'm not big on corporate loyalty but Enterprise has consistently earned it. It is nice not to have to think about which company to use. Enterprise always has the best prices and I don't know how they do it but the employees are always stellar. I've used them in multiple cities and haven't been disappointed. In Olympia the staff are excellent and the car was brand new. I am not a fan of insurance up selling but all car rental companies do that. High level corporate agreements with insurance companies to save customers this stress and hassle would be nice. read more

When ever my company car is down we use Enterprise for our rentals. Though have had a couple of issues with vehicle they are always quickly to fix what ever issue it is. The staff is always extremely friendly and professional. The only downfall is that even though they say "No Animals & No Smoking" yet I had a few cars that clearly you can tell had animals in it even after they clean it. read more

I cannot stress enough how horrible my experience with enterprise was. After an accident I had to get my car towed to the repair shop and enterprise were supposed to shuttle me to their office so I could get a rental car before they closed. They forgot to pick me up..... That's right, they forgot. I called them and they said "oops! We'll send someone over right now." Turns out I couldn't wait around for these jokers because I had to be at the final walkthrough of my apartment in a few minutes, and by now enterprise was already 30 minutes late! So, I paid for a freaking taxi. I was so late my landlord did the check off without me and left. Then I had to pay for a taxi to get to Tacoma, where i just moved to. I rented an enterprise vehicle in Tacoma (which had a half flat tire I had to fill up), and when I tried to return it at this Olympia location the same guy who forgot to pick me up checked me out and had the guts to get short with me when I asked for compensation! Never once did he apologize. I also spoke with a manager. No compensation. Seriously consider NEVER renting a car here. read more

I had to rent a car and since Enterprise is the only company in Coos Bay, OR for rentals when my car broke down while I was visiting family in Washington I didn't have much of a chose who to rent from, however, Michelle was great at Enterprise she helped me and had great customer service. I always have a good experience renting with this company and at the Carriage Loop location in Olympia, WA. I want to specifically compliment Sam who I work with almost each time I rent. This is the third time I've rented with them and worked with Sam and he treats me like a "regular" even though I rent only one time a month. He remembers specific details that help make my trip and rental easier- for example he called this morning just because he remembered I usually request a pick-up to make sure I would have one scheduled. He has also provided upgrades to my rental at no cost which is unexpected, yet very appreciated. After requesting several times that they not leave their rental vehicles parked in front of our car dealership during the weekend when they are closed for business because they block the view to our vehicles they told me just deal with it.
