I decided to give Redicab a try since I feel safer with experienced cab drivers, and also have found that not all Uber or Lyft drivers are nice about my no freeway requests. I called on a Sunday and had the pleasure of talking with Jake. He answered all of my questions patiently and kindly, and took my reservations for two time calls today. Jake was also my driver today-both ways! He arrived early, phoned to let me know he was ready when I was, and was an absolute delight to meet and chat with. I needed a bit of flexibility with my return, and Jake was super patient about all of the back and forth. In short, I have definitely found my ride option when I need it in Redicab. I called up at 5 pm talked to dispatch guy told me 10 dollars to ride to Walmart from my location so I was thinking 20 bucks for my ride right wrong .the driver took long way to Walmart and cost me 50 dollars round trip would not recommend them they are ripping u off . My husband needed transportation from the hospital to our home because I can't drive in the dark. I called Redicab and spoke with Fern, the dispatcher. She was amazing and found him a ride right away. The driver was exceptional and helped him into the house. The car was clean and well maintained. I looked at Yelp's listing of Taxis in the Lacey area based on the "recommended" screen. RediCab should be in first place. They have multiple drivers on each shift (unlike others listed), so a customer is likely to get a ride within a reasonable time. The negative reviews are all pretty old, so perhaps things have improve. I found the dispatcher to be pleasant and the Taxi arrived within the time estimated. The driver was pleasant. Sure, the car itself shows the effects of constant use, but then you are not paying for a car service. read more

Fantastic service. I used the service today to go to and from my appointment from the Sea-Mar medical center in Lacey. Both drivers I had today were excellent. I want to thank the second driver I had coming home from my appointment for filling me in on the story about the submarine that dissappeared off the coast of Canada. He gave me much more info on this story than I've heard on the news. I hope to do business with them when I need a cab in the future. The price for fares is way cheaper than Uber or Lyft too. read more

This taxi cab company is horrible. I got a ride from Walmart in tumwater to the west side the guy was cool gave me his business card. I thought we were cool. I call today he hangs up on me. I called backed ask why. He hung up again. Do not give these guys business. Very unprofessional. Plus they took a long time to get there. read more

So thankful for this company. Very kind and patient dispatch. I was stranded in Olympia with 2 children and my youngest wasn't feeling well. It would be rough to make a kid wait at a shop for who knows how long, especially when they aren't feeling well. I spoke with dispatch and they were able to work out a ride for us, which arrived so quickly I hadn't even finished gathering our belongings. The vehicle was so clean, inside and out. Comfortable, spacious backseat. Would have no issue installing car seats. The ride was pleasant as well. Driver lead a conversation that was comfortable and light. No pressure to talk, but was interested in hearing what I had to say. Also didn't feel hurried to get in and out. Their driving was great. I am not a big fan of other people driving my kids around, but there was no jerking around, no recklessness. More than satisfied with our RediCab experience. read more

I called Redicab to schedule a ride to work in the morning and they arrived promptly and even called me to let me know that they will be arriving in the next 2-3 minutes which I appreciated. The rates were about the same as other ride share companies that I would normally use. I will definately use them in the future. The ride was pleasant and great. Thank you. read more

I rated previously to RediCab, and gave it only one star because of the terrible service. But after speaking with the owner, I've started to understand the situation. From what it looks like, I believe RediCab is short staffed, which means longer wait times for number of calls. If there was a way to hire more drivers, cars, and possibly expand the business, then I would believe they would get a better rating. I have faith that RediCab will do better. I know the owner is really sweet and has a passion for this company. Overall, I'll continue calling them for rides, just because I cannot drive, and RediCab has faster pickup times than other taxi companies I've tried. read more

Every time I called them they keep rejecting my transportation. I wouldn't recommend there service. They keep avoiding my ride and get rid of me. They were trying to get rid of me and suggest another taxi company. read more

I tried to schedule a pick-up. The man who answered the phone interrupted me, went on a rant, and then said he didn't want to provide me service. I couldn't even get a word in to say that by "timeframe" I just meant 20 minutes or so. Obviously, he's not a fan of scheduled rides. If that's what you need, better to call someone else. I mean, this was an easy solve, and he wouldn't even let me provide a single solution after his rant about all the problems with scheduling rides. read more

They were "afraid" of putting a kayak in their van and refused shuttle.. If there was a 0 star they would get it. It's their call, unfortunately the actions of the driver will fall back on their company and wont be recommended to any of my friends or family. I called a few hours before a pick up and he arrived 15-20 mins late, but I understand being short notice so it's ok. However, I was not happy when I called the evening before to schedule a morning pick up and he flat out said no. I wanted to stop using Uber but if I can't even schedule something 12 hrs in advance what is the point?! read more

This cab company has a place in my heart for helping me, help out a gentleman in need. I was walking home, when I was asked by an older gentleman for assistance getting a cab. He stated he was not able to walk any further and needed help getting home for his medication because he was in pain. I absolutely enjoyed my cab driver Kimberley but the dispatcher "Meko" was sarcastic and passive aggressive. The second time I called for a ride he was even more rude than the first time so I just hung up and called a more polite cab company. Unfortunate that a miserable dispatcher has to ruin it for a hard working driver. read more

I chose RediCab because the website. It wasn't that great but the fleet looked nice. If only I had been picked up in one of the nice box cars that it shows on the website. The driver was extremely nice and didn't complain about me using a credit card like most cab companies. Smooth ride unlike the ones I've had before in Tacoma with a different company. I would definitely use this again. Wait time was just under 10 minutes which makes me happy. Just maybe next time put me in a nicer car. Thanks. read more

This was the worse taxi experience I've ever had! I called for a taxi and told the person that answered the phone that I was in a time crunch. She assured me some would be here at the time I specified and when the time came and passed I called. I heard someone yelling in the background and she said he was on his way. Time passed and I called again and she answered and it sounded as if the driver yanked the phone from her and started yelling at me that he was here and I wasn't and then when I said that I had been waiting out front the whole time he literally hung up on me. I am now waiting for another taxi and am extremely late. Beware of this service. They sounded as if they were working from some parents basement and lacked professionalism in the worst way. read more

I booked a pickup from a medical appointment with Redicab Olympia Taxi because I am in a wheelchair and cannot drive. In order to see them, I had to wait outside. They were late, and when I called them I was told they were just a minute away. I waited for 15 minutes and called again, and was told by a different person that they were almost there, just a minute away. I told them I would wait for 10 more minutes, but that was all. It was very frustrating for me. I waited a total of 40 minutes and then left; by then the medical offices were locked and I had to go--in my manual wheelchair--to another office in the building complex to go inside and book and then wait for my ride, which I was able to get with a friend, although I had to wait even longer. I would only recommend Redicab if you have some sort of backup plan, which I unfortunately did not. It was a particularly distressing experience, which is why I wrote this review, to help others who might be in my same situation. read more
