I am without car (by choice) and happy to take the bus and get some walking in when needed, but there are nights, and weekend mornings that just don't work (retail hours, retail feet, and the #21 bus does not work for me all of the time). And, they make me laugh. Normally, in my years of taking cabs (work travel...and oh, so many stories about New York cabs, but worse stories around the Oly and Seattle area), I am the gal in the back of the cab not wanting to engage. They will absolutely respect your quiet time, but are pretty cool if you decide to talk. They are reliable. As close to on-time as possible (usually early), and they communicate if they get tied up with another fare.

Jake was also my driver today-both ways! He arrived early, phoned to let me know he was ready when I was, and was an absolute delight to meet and chat with. I needed a bit of flexibility with my return, and Jake was super patient about all of the back and forth. In short, I have definitely found my ride option when I need it in Redicab. My son's gf claimed she got her own ride so we canceled with Aberdare Taxi and he stated I'm already here so he proceeded to tell my son f**k you for wasting my time and then my son said the same thing back to him this is after the taxi driver had already taken off with my son's girlfriends personal items. Like her wallet, cell phone, clothes, and make up. My son's gf had a tracker on her phone so she tracked it and found that the taxi driver had tossed her things out of the taxi after he drove down the road away from the comfort inn. The woman gave the most apathetic apology and told us that reason her driver never showed was because he "confused AM with PM" and that going forward she would "make sure the drivers know the difference between AM and PM". This was the west experience I've ever had with a medical ride company BAR NONE.

I wasn't aware that drivers wrote down customer phone numbers for personal use, but apparently, with this company, that is totally okay. After a brief google search, this same driver has had previous complaints. The complaint was from December 2014, so we know the company tolerates this kind of behavior. The first representative "Thomas" I spoke to just kept telling me to "check in an hour, check in two hours" but would not tell me what to check rather it be my bank account or back with them. When I was asking for clarification on checking what exactly, he hung up on me. When I called back after he said there was no one to transfer to for an hour, which then changed to two hours, then back to one hour. I told him I will gladly sit on hold until someone was ready and he was immediately able to transfer me to the supervisor "Matt" who explained that they do not have the resources to check that but those working in office do at 9am. That was exactly the answer I was hoping for if they could not find out for me and I was content with that and even had tried clearing up if that was what the first gentleman was telling me (which one or two hours still would have been before 9am) , I continued to ask another question before he tried ending the call and he began to cut me off. I stopped him from cutting off my question and asked if they made a habit out of hanging up on customers since I was not done talking and he said no, I told him the last gentlemen did and Matt proceeded to gaslight me by saying Thomas did no such thing. I have the phone record and I can show he did hang up and after the gaslighting did not work I asked for their names to which he hesitated and gave me the "Thomas" and "Matt". I am not solid that they are their real names. As far as the actual taxi ride went, the taxi did not take the address that we were going to and instead had us map our way there. Very friendly and comfortable ride otherwise but if you want to be hung up and gaslit by the customer service representatives and map your own ride out this is the place to go.
