I recently had a reservation for a standard size automobile. When I arrived, Zachary offered me a compact car, Nissan Versa or a Jeep Wrangler. I declined both as the Nissan would be too small and I have rented a Jeep Wrangler previously and it was an uncomfortable ride. There was low inventory of any vehicle so I had to wait awhile As Zachary coordinated to get vehicles from another location. The next car Zachary offered me was a Toyota Corolla which is considered midsize. I believed it would still be too small for my trip. A Nissan Altima, considered a full size vehicle became available. Zachary upgraded me to that vehicle to shorten the time I would have to wait. Zachary was very busy that afternoon and I observed him multitasking to get each customer served as promptly as possible. I was happy that the gas tank was full so I wouldn't have to worry about getting to a certain line to return the car. The car drove nice and did well on MPG on the highway. There was some noise from the wheels but I believe that is because the tires were low profile on huge rims. There was plenty of room in the trunk and the backseat for our luggage. Came in to grab a rental car covered by my insurance as I had gotten into a car accident recently. The branch itself is quite small with maybe 20 cars or less. Unfortunately, they only had SUVs for rental as I was picking up on the weekend. Still, I was able to secure a sedan later on once the weekend rentals started to trickle back in on Monday. Service was friendly and quick with no complaints. Some of the cars are a bit on the older side, but still run decent. Overall, worth a visit if you're in a bind and need a rental. read more

IF "BAD VIBES" HAD AN OFFICE Just a review for the La Crescenta location. They really need to scrap the whole entire staff and start fresh. We walked in and there were 4 employees (i believe 2 appeared to be off from the context of the conversation that they continued to have as my daughter and I stood there being ignored). One woman was a manager, I believe. They did not acknowledge us and continued their conversation. Even once we finally began to speak, the girl still continued the conversation with the others in between the questions. We had a rental paid for through the insurance of the party that had totaled our corolla. During my initial conversion with Enterprise, I was asked if I was ok with the "mid-sized vehicle which would be similar to [our] car" or if I'd like to upgrade to something bigger for a charge. I said we wanted something similar to the corolla. Well, when we get there to pick up our rental, we were offered a bright blue, tiny, banged up Mitsubishi. I stated that this is not similar to a corolla which is what we were told. She said it was in the same class and we'd have to pay for an upgrade. I told her that I would make a phone call before signing for it and called Enterprise's main line. The woman on the phone agreed with me, put me on hold and then the young girl came back and offered a corolla that had been parked there prior to my arrival, claiming that they had just received it. So we agreed to the corolla. Now for the icing on the cake..... As the employee did the inspection with us, there was a young boy washing a car in front of our rental. Each time his fellow employee walked in front of our car, as a courtesy he would aim the water at the floor. Each time my daughter and I walked in front, we would not and would continue to wash the car, wetting us. The entire experience was one of those moments that you wish you could record because it is so odd and doesn't translate through words. When returning the rental, we made sure to bring it to another location that wasn't being ran by foos gone wild. I was not surprised to hear from my neighbors that they also had a bad experience with this office being dishonest and claiming damage to vehicles that were already damaged. read more

Hadey, Padey whatever her short miserable name is, decided to be have an attitude today. The bumper on my rental slightly popped off (normal car defect) so I showed her it could be popped back into place and she didn't want to accept my return. I drove all the way out here in the middle of nowhere to get a new/used car at the dealership down the street and return this one. She told me to take it back to where I got it from because they might accept it there. Keep in mind I live 2 HOURS away. How am I supposed to drive both cars back. Regardless, she wasn't willing to take the car back even though she took another customer's exact model car back WITH THE SAME DEFECT. She had an attitude and didn't want to work with me. Let me start by saying I've been to this location twice in the past 3 days and I still am WITHOUT a rental vehicle. My car needed a new transmission and so I took it just next door to this location for repairs. My rental with Enterprise went through my extended warranty company, so I figured things would be a breeze. Being someone who has never really rented a vehicle, I tried to be as prepared as I could going in. Eileen didn't exactly make the process any more comfortable or offer any suggestions on how to make the experience a positive one. I even got the impression from her that helping a customer was actually a bit of an inconvenience. I had a little hiccup getting everything ready to go on my card for the deposit but after she specifically checked the card to ensure it was one i could use, i went ahead and transferred the funds. This whole time she is watching me struggle a little, offers no suggestion or comments and continues to do other work behind the desk. Once I inform her that everything is good to go then she decides to tell me "ok, now you'll need to make sure you have about $90 on there on top of the deposit for taxes and fees". I'm thinking that sounds higher than it should be but I look at her and say "are you kidding me? You watched all that and couldn't be bothered to let me know so i could transfer it all at once?" And of course when a second transfer is initiated it gets flagged by the bank, At this point am I so frustrated I decide to leave and try again another day. When I go back two days later (the following day I'm told there is nothing available), I am informed of a whole different set of policies. First, apparently I don't need to pay taxes for the entire time upfront. I can pay for a few days and then if needed pay the additional days if i still need the car. Oh and taxes only $6-8 A DAY so where did this $90 figure come from. This infuriates me because Eileen was requiring my payment for the entire time even after I told her I will not be needing it the entire time it was approved for. There was no reason I couldn't have walked away the first day in a rental car other than, Eileen didn't want to provide me with the steps and ability to do so. Second, after now making sure my card has not only the deposit but about $90 more, that very same card Eileen told me was fine to use I am now told I can not. The woman working even CALLS EILEEN to ask her about it!!! I'm not really sure why she even did that because when i ask her what Eileen said i am told "Well she's not here so I had to call blah blah blah and they said no, so sorry." I am fit to be tied at these people because i have been lied to and toyed with. I leave again enraged and do the only thing at this point that I can and file a formal complaint on the location. What happened is beyond unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. For some of us its more than just getting a rental car, That car and the ability to get where you desperately need to be stands for a lot more. The appalling customer service (or lack thereof) is completely uncalled for, particularly after I completed the steps YOU gave me. Shame on all of you there. read more

BEWARE! This place rented me a car with a dented and scratched bumper. They told me not to worry about the dents on the bumper. 24 hours later, I returned the car and they tried to tell me the dented bumper had a new dent (on the same side of all the scratches and dents) that I miraculously created. Zero replies to their emails. ------------------------- SCAM ALERT: The manager who claimed her name was Britney (see photo) is actively engaging in fraudulent insurance claim filing!! Do not come here!! Do not become their next victim!! I returned my rental car today. Britney claimed that I caused a scratch on the bottom side of the passenger rocker panel. Please note that this damage is somewhere no one would even look or notice unless they were specifically looking for that damage. As soon as I exited the car, she started her plan to scam me. Very oddly, she asked me, "Where did you guys go?" I thought that was a very odd question, so I asked her what she meant. She had no explanation for the question. Apparently, she was just trying to make up a story of how we could have damaged the car. Note--this is before she even started inspecting the car. Just 10 seconds later, she went straight to the rocker panel and claimed that I caused the scratch on the car. This is literally impossible. During my limited time with the car, I have not driven the car anywhere that could have caused this damage. When I picked up the car, they were washing it. We did NOT do a walk around inspection of the car. We sure as hell did not kneel down to look below the passenger door for the nearly invisible scratch they want to charge me for. Britney has clearly set up a fraudulent insurance claim against me. She already had my bank account info so she pulled money "as a deductible" from my account without my permission. Then she tried to force me to sign a statement saying "I didnt see the damage when I picked up the car from them" as if it did not exist then, and I caused it at a later time. Based on all of the 1-star comments, I am seeing that I am not the first fraud victim here. I am filing a claim with the Better Business Bureau next. I will let everyone know who this company is, and of the fraudulent insurance claims they are filing! I might even go to the District Attorney to let them know of this fraud pattern I am seeing. I've been using this branch for 8 years now and they are always very helpful with great customer service. I recently had my car totaled and had one of their rentals for 6 weeks ending on 3/18/22. Due to a host of issues the rental was paid for by both my insurance and the body shop (the shop wasted 3 of my 4 insurance covered rental weeks to say the car was totaled) for the first 5 weeks then I paid the 6th week. The manager at this location managed all the changes in payment without issue and at the end I received the correct billing for what I owed. I wish the rest of the companies and people I had to deal with in this scenario were as efficient and communicative as this branch of enterprise, excellent management!! read more

Someone hit and run my parked car. When my insurance asked where I would like to rent a car, I picked this enterprise location due to its proximity to the collision center. I couldn't have made a better choice. Steven made everything extremely easy and answered every question I had with ease. He was kind, patient, and made the inconvenience of having to rent a car during my repairs a pleasant experience. The car was clean and I had no issues with it whatsoever. Do yourself a favor and ask for Steven when you call. He has top tier customer service skills and will make renting a car something to look forward to. read more

Made my reservation for a van almost a month ahead, called to confirm a week before, and called the day before to make sure the van would be ready by 10am. I made it clear that i needed to be on the road by 10 and requested to be picked up by 9:45. Got there the next day and was told the van engine light turned on and they have to return the van to the dealer. Now they can't find a van for me because it's a long weekend. They guaranteed me the van would be ready by 10 and it's almost 11 and they still can't find a van for me. I guess they don't understand what guarantee means. I know they can't control incidentals, but if they guarantee something, they should have a backup van. Sorry doesn't get me to where I needed to be. Will give an update later. We get fined for bringing the car back late but they seem to think it's ok to make us wait sometimes for hours while they fix their mistakes. There should be a discount generated per hour for every hour they are late to deliver. read more

I've been a customer of Enterprise for many years. I've generally been happy although they put this horrible perfume in there cars that makes me want to gag. The last straw was that their prices have suddenly jumped from around $25. per day up to about $45. for an intermidiate car. I found a way, way better deal with Toru and will probably not go back to Enterprise. Hopefully these kinds of reviews will bring them back to reality on their prices. read more

I've called about 5 times and the phone would ring for 20 minutes without answer. Every time I would speak with someone, they each would tell me a different story. What a horrible experience at this location. Never again will I deal with this location. Convenient because it is so close to home but very inefficient. Me and my fiancé reserved a Car for Friday Aug 18 at noon. We were a little late, we arrived at about 2 PM, the car was not ready. They gave us a Jeep, which did not meet our expectations so we requested a different vehicle. They had to clean the car first. Expected wait was 15 Mins. We waited in the waiting room for 45 mins, finally someone offered to give us a truck instead, for the long wait, but the catch is that they have to wash it and clean the interior before letting us drive away, another 20 min wait, no thanks. We settled for the smaller car. Keith, maybe the manager, offered us a discount for the inconvenience. The reservation was made with a debit card. Keith, told me the policy was to have a credit card on file for the hold. He assured us that the card was only for the "hold" purpose, not the card being charged after the rental was returned. That was a lie. The car was returned yesterday, and they claim that I agreed to allow them to charge my card. Miscommunication or just simply lying about it to get us out of his office on Friday. After making a few calls to the Foothill branch, they are just going in circles regarding the charges and policies. I was also told I would be receiving a call back, but that hasn't happened. He assured us that he strived on great customer service and wanted us to be satisfied. We are very dissatisfied with our enterprise rental experience. read more

I like the fact they offer a pick up and drop off service so I don't need to look for a second person to bring me back and forth. They have a good selection of vehicles if you call in advance. The location is easy to find parking lot on the side and street parking in front. Very clean office. read more
