    I recently visited the new LAX Rental Car Terminal to exchange a vehicle I initially received from…read morethe Woodland Hills location. My vehicle is currently in the shop, so this rental was intended to be a comparable loaner. I chose the LAX location specifically because of its size, assuming they would have better inventory options. Unfortunately, that was not the case. After returning my vehicle, I waited at the customer service desk for two hours. The process was extremely slow, and the overall attitude felt nonchalant and unresponsive, and no rush and do not care. After all that time, I was ultimately given a downgraded vehicle, which completely defeated the purpose of coming to a larger location. I also attempted to contact Enterprise during and after this experience, but there appears to be no effective system in place to resolve customer concerns. Every representative I spoke with deferred responsibility, promising escalation and follow-up "within a few days." It has now been several days with no response whatsoever. There was no acknowledgment of the excessive wait time, no effort to accommodate the situation, and no meaningful attempt to resolve the issue. Here take this car this is what we have. I ended up going to Avis Rent A Car, where, as a Preferred Club member, I received significantly better service and immediate assistance. To be fair, the new LAX facility itself is very clean, modern, and well-designed. However, the customer service and communication structure do not match the quality of the building. Enterprise needs to do better particularly with communication, accountability, and timely resolution of customer issues. Response to Jean that was done no results after 4 days, no results just overall a negative experience. Simply responded contact Woodland Hills . Sent support a complaint online just as suggested no better!

    Interesting to see how many people have had a bad experience with AVIS…read more I have always rented cars directly through the AVIS website and at this specific location more than a handful of times and have never had an issue. Not only do they have some of the lowest rates, they also are as up-front as you can get in regards to placing an authorization hold on your CC (which is industry practice for car rentals). I always receive a car that's brand new, and clean. One of the few cons that I can think of is that more often than not, the exact car that you reserved won't be available (due to people extending their contracts last minute, late returns, etc), but will always upgrade your vehicle to a higher tier at the same price point, which is a pretty sweet deal, however, if you're concerned about MPG and you wanted an economy car but suddenly, you're stuck with a 4x4, I can see why that'd be a little frustrating. One last con is that rarely, there'd be some pre-existing damage to the vehicle that was not recorded on their end, so, always make sure to record a 360 degree video around the vehicle to ensure that any damage to the vehicle occurred prior to you having rented it. I'm just glad I was able to point out some undercarriage/front bumper scratch damage to a vehicle and check with the employee beforehand to notate it on their records before I took control of the vehicle. Other than that, everything was smooth sailing and it'd be hard to find a rental place that is easy to rent from and return to 7 days a week. Most places are usually closed weekends, so the fact that this location is open every day is pretty sweet. They're also very lenient when you're late as well. I was over an hour late on one of my rentals and they understood that due to some unforeseen circumstances, that I was going to be late and did not charge me a full day late fee. Thanks, AVIS! Great place to rent cars and friendly staff as well.

I was told only charged twice and declined I needed to call my bank and I did. Just for them to charge me more and declined and told me that I have to wait 24 hours to try again. I had to call customer service and get a refund.

From the moment I walked in, the service was smooth, professional, and genuinely helpful. What really stood out, though, was the manager, Marquis. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled efficiently and with care. He understood how challenging the situation can be and made the entire process feel easy and stress-free. Marquis was not only knowledgeable, but also patient and accommodating--answering questions, working through the details with insurance, and making sure I had exactly what I needed. It's rare to come across that level of customer service these days. If you find yourself needing a rental, especially in a situation tied to insurance repairs, I highly recommend this Enterprise location--and definitely ask for Marquis.     I am currently renting a vehicle from the Enterprise location at 17245 Main St, Gardena, CA 90248…read more Upon receiving the vehicle on Friday, I immediately observed a discrepancy between the mileage stated on the contract and the actual mileage displayed on the odometer; the contract indicated 67000 miles, while the vehicle's odometer also showed 69000 miles. Additionally, the vehicle had a distinct odor of cigarette smoke, and the "change oil" indicator was illuminated. On Saturday, February 28, 2026, I returned to the branch to address these issues with the branch manager. The manager informed me of a lack of available vehicles and suggested a smaller alternative. Given that I had rented a full-size vehicle for a planned family trip, I explained my need for a larger vehicle. Despite the circumstances, I had no option but to accept the offered vehicle. While driving on the freeway, the dashboard lights, radio, and all interior illumination unexpectedly ceased to function.
