Had to turn in my first rental because of maintenance problems. The battery died and would not state the car. Luckily I live near an airport and was able to get a new car late Sunday night. Otherwise, I would have had problems getting to the next day. The second car (same make and model) pulled to the left periodically. It felt like the power steering was a little off. Luckily, I did not crash, but I could feel the wheel pulling to the left at random times. Good service in terms of drop-off and pickup. Questionable maintenance. read more

Our flight was delayed to arrive at Burbank past midnight which left me frantic after seeing this Enterprise closes at 11pm. The listed phone number is a dial-by service machine and there is no way to talk to a human. Once we landed past 12am, I gave it a shot and walked over to the car rental lot, and it honestly felt like seeing an angel once I saw an employee at the front desk and the lights were on. I learned that they usually monitor the last arrival flights for any delays and there should be at least one worker there. Best to make sure your flight confirmation is added to your car rental so that they can monitor the status of your flight if you haven't picked up by your dedicated pick-up time. In the middle of the night, there was not a soul in the car rental garage, except Alex. (We had reserved a car at another rental agency. My husband had even called to tell them that my flight was late. They said that they'd be there. They had left.) Everyone was gone. They were turning the lights off. Alex came through for us in the clutch. He rented us a clean, reliable car, quickly and for a great price. He saved us time and money. He got us on our way. After I left a binder in the car, my wife started making calls and spoke to wonderful staff to include Melanie (unknown last) who were quick to express their concern and start the location process. Then, I received an email from Caylee who offered me a point of contact and requested a photo of the binder. The binder hasn't been recovered yet, but that doesn't negate this team's desire and work to locate it. I booked a car through chase travel and they told me that they didn't have anymore availability when I got there even though I was able to book it. This left me stranded in the airport. They should have been able to see this on their end and called me beforehand like other retailers. Additionally, they told me that their system would mark that I didn't pick up the car and I would get refunded automatically. It did not do that. It seems like this location is trying to rip people off by not marking that they didn't get their cars and not refunding them. read more

Everyone I came into contact with was professional and friendly. Check-in was quick and easy. I only had this vehicle for a few hours this time. When I dropped it off, Juan checked the vehicle at my request without a problem. He was friendly and courteous. He also went above and beyond in customer service by giving me a discount. I was thrilled because I was only going to Glendale and had the vehicle for less than 3 hours. That was so sweet of him. Unbelievably blown away by my son's experience. Negative stars was not an option. This will be taken to corporate and BBB. Consumers beware! My son is 24 he researched car rentals that would rent to him. He booked online with Budget Burbank Airport. He arrived and was told he could not have the car he booked, and he was charged 200. over the top of inflated daily charges as well as an 80. charge for being 24. His total for 3 days was 600.On top of all this they gave him an electric car! Unfortunately, due to his flight, he arrived late at night and he could not make any changes or go to another company. This is still pending, please beware of bait and switch tactics happening with Budget. read more

This isn't geared towards the nice gentlemen inside the enterprise kiosk, it's towards one particular guy in the car returns area who gave us one of the worse experiences we've ever had! We showed up to switch out a vehicle on Mon 02/12/24 because they were the "only" location in LA to have vehicles. When we showed up, it didn't seem like a problem, but then.. first off, we wanted to get a Toyota Camry, as we were about to be given one, he told us he can't switch it out cause the Camry has a recall on it. No problem, so then he gave us a Nissan Altima, not a bad car. But we found it surprising that when we asked "do you want to do a walkthrough and check the vehicle with us?" He said "no, I don't need to do anything like that, it's fine, it's good to go." "I'm not concerned with any small things like scratches, it's just the bigger ones." "It's been cleaned and good to go." He said. So when we asked for the keys, "they're already in the Car", he said. As soon as we left, bam! We got into 5 o'clock traffic in LA and we get hit with the smell of cigarette smoke! My wife has bad asthma and can't tolerate the smell cause it makes her sick. She has to drive almost two hours back to our hotel stuck in traffic with that smell! She woke up the next day with a very hoarse voice and coughing! We tried to switch out the car the next day, with no avail. We really didn't wanna go back to this location, but after finding out "once you switch a vehicle at an airport, you can't switch out at any other location," we were stuck at our hotel until we had no choice. The day we had to leave we had to go back to the airport location to switch out again! We got lucky to speak with the manager who understood, since he's also allergic to cigarette smoke. He got us a car "from the actual clean lot, he made our experience a better one! Plus the car was smoke free. So if you ever deal with a young Caucasian man with short dirty brown hair and wears a blazer, ask for someone else to help you! Pro Tip: if you're offered a vehicle in the two lanes in front of the kiosk, turn it away immediately! Those vehicles are not clean! The clean vehicles are towards the back! read more

I always and only rent with Enterprise since they are the best! I rented here about two weeks ago and everything was great! I didn't get the name of the gentleman that was helping me but he was very kind and provided excellent service. The other gentleman that was helping me at the car was also nice and provided excellent service. My friend and I did a walk around of the car making sure everything is okay. The car we got was missing the spare tire and we told the gentleman and he switched us to another car right away. Other than that, Enterprise has been nothing but great! Never encountered such a rude/lying individual as today. I fly monthly so have to deal with car rental fairly regularly. I reserved a full size car meaning Chevy Malibu or similar. First he tries giving me a small suv and telling me it's an upgrade. He then has me wait ten minutes and comes back with a Honda civic. "Here's your car". That not a full size more like a compact as stated on your website. Well we just changed the designation of the cars this is now considered a full size and what you are getting. I asked if there was any price difference. No this is all you are getting as it's a full size car! WTf Customer care was no longer available to assist so I was forced to accept their bait and switch. Never again will I use enterprise. Never had this experience with Budget before. In instances like that they would upgrade me if anything. Update: Despite calling customer service to log a complaint and being told I would receive a call back to address my issues I have not received a call or email in over a week. read more

Great experience with car rental. I reserved the car through Costco Travel, when I arrived at the check in counter there was not a line. I provided my name and ID and quickly moved on to choose my car. Marguerite had a great welcoming vibe and provided wonderful customer service, she walked me through the important aspects of the car and did a complete check of the car before I left. I was on the road in no time at all. Upon my return back to drop off the car Gerry was friendly and efficiently did what was needed and sent me on my way. An overall very positive experience. During my recent rental experience at Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Burbank, California, I encountered significant challenges. I found the manager, Evelyn, to be exceptionally rude, as she not only declined to provide me with the contact information of a supervisor or superior, but also engaged in unprofessional interactions. This behavior extended to her coworker as well, resulting in unending unhelpfulness. I initially made arrangements with another Enterprise location for the car to be transferred to the Burbank site, only to be told upon arrival that this couldn't be accommodated, leaving me stranded during after-hours without a rental vehicle. She said that in no uncertain terms that she refused to help out in anyway. This experience was, without a doubt, the most disrespectful and unprofessional encounter I have ever had in a business setting. Additionally when i asked for her supervisors info she snatched the business card out of my hand that she gave me and tole me to call her branch and complain her to her. Furthermore she said the only information she would provide was the branch info and insisted that I could find the corporate complaint number online. I will never use them again! read more

I cannot say enough good words about my experience with this Enterprise location. This was my first time flying into Burbank Airport, and Mari Silva made it such a smooth, positive experience for me. My young daughter was with me, and Mari was so kind to her and made us both feel like she genuinely cared about our comfort with the vehicle we drove. When returning my car, she recognized us and came up to ask if everything went well for us. Mari really made us feel welcome. Also, when we returned our car, Al Ayson was wonderful as well. He was so nice and pleasant. I was quite stressed coming in after being stuck in traffic, running late, and not having time to fill up the gas tank. He was so great and calm and helped us check in quickly, got my gas figured out quickly and fairly, and truly made our experience great. I can't say enough how much I appreciate your team there. They are the best I've ever worked with, and I will try to fly into Burbank as much as possible to be able to work with this team again. read more

WOW! This location is wonderful! The staff was professional, courteous and friendly. I was in town for 4 days and rented a car at this location and thankfully I was able to reserve a Dodge Challenger and score an all black Challenger too!!! Mind you, it's about a 10-minute walk from the Hollywood Burbank Airport terminal to the Enterprise location. It was my 1st time traveling to this airport, and it's small but thankfully the rental place is just a short walk away. I got my car quickly and it was super clean both inside and outside. Now, I was a bit worried about the return but it was simple and fast and was able to return it with no problems! I am definitely going to be coming back to this Enterprise location again! Horrible Horrible service. I have used Enterprise for almost a decade for my business trips. However this experience has switched me never ever use them again. I live in bay area and had booked my rental as usual a week in advance. I was in the area with my daughter as she had gotten into Cal Tech. The experience was so bad my daughter started crying. My daughter worked hard got into Cal Tech and Enterprise rent a car at Burbank ruined the experience. They have an arachaic system which does not allow tap neither does it allow to tap thru my iphone. They can only read chip and my card had the chip but they said we cannot read it sorry so no rental car for you. The manager named Alex R (not sure if he gave me his real name) as he would not even give me his last name. He said my last name is R. What a jerk. Horrible Horrible human being. My daughter is crying as we were late for her orientation and he is just smiling. Enterprise claims that they are a small family run business. I am a business owner myself not so small anymore but I know this. Managers like Alex and there was another lady in the front ( i think her name was laurie) both of them must be fired. You both are an abomination. Bad karma will catch up to you. You made my daughter cry on her most happiest day you must be ashamed. You spoil the name of enterprise. read more

I was really hoping to leave this place a good review finally after my last conversation with the manager but again they led me down. Not only do they lie about cleaning the cars down especially during the Covid time but they also do horrible inspections. I was given a car with trash in it and marks all over the back seat which shows they don't clean the car down. They also gave me a car with extremely unsafe tires. They clearly don't care about safety. I was also told we can discuss the late charges since I picked up my car an hour early but they don't they just charge you. Check your tires people! read more

Checking in was quick and easy. The agent (I'm sorry, I don't remember the name) was very thorough in explaining all the features of the car. The car I got this time was in great and clean condition. Returning the car was even faster. They do a quick walk around, check the miles/gas, then ask if you want a printed or emailed receipt and that's it. I would give them 0 stars if possible. I met with employee at the counter, whom I unfortunately didn't get his name and everything seemed normal. We walk outside to pick up my rental, a Gray Dodge Caravan which I noticed had a large scratch/dent on one of the passenger doors and I didn't bother pointing it out to the employee. The employee didn't even bother to conduct a vehicle inspection and perceeded to hand me the keys to the rental. I was surprised that there wasn't a vehicle inspection and I didn't think anything of it. But I did take a picture of the pre-existing damage just to cover myself incase I would be blamed for the damaged door. I didnt fully inspect the receipt at first. It wasn't until I was about to return the rental that I noticed that the receipt says, No damage reported.. No damage??? REALLY?? A company that supposedly has high standards needs to have more responsible employees working for them. I understand, I should of pointed out the damage in the first place, but I feel I shouldn't have to tell the employee how to do his job. One thing that comes to mind, is maybe he intentionally did not conduct a vehicle inspection and expected my insurance to pay for the pre-existing damage. What a shame!! Drove all the way out to Enterprize at the Burbank airport, but their computer system wouldn't recognize our credit union card as "credit". Drove home to get another card. Called to confirm we had a car - but when we arrived they said there was no reservation. I can't believe Enterprize would leave us stranded with no car. Ask for Alex to receive exceptionally poor service. read more

I always use Enterprise. For some reason the wait here was much longer got any other location I have patronized. When you land at Burbank Airport, it is a very long walk to this location. Of course, that's not the fault of Enterprise, that's just how the facilities are designed. But keep in mind it will be quite a walk. I had to wait in the main lot for about 10 or 15 minutes until they finally got my car. There was quite a line of customers waiting. I have never seen this at any other Enterprise location. To be fair, the people who helped me were really friendly and courteous. They gave me a free upgrade to a really nice SUV. It was clean and of course fully fueled. Here's a secret car rental tip. Please don't tell anybody else: After you reserve your rental car, check back later, a few days before the arrival date. Very often, the rates will have changed. I have used Enterprise for years, and it did not disappoint on this trip. I made the reservation directly on line through their website, which was simple to do. At Hollywood-Burbank Airport, it is quite a walk from the terminal to the car rentals, but, once there, it couldn't have gone more smoothly. I had the choice of three vehicles in my price category and got a brand new GMC Terrain SUV for six days. It drove very well and didn't give an ounce of trouble. On the return, I missed the Enterprise sign and wound up in the Hertz lot, so had to go out of the airport and back in again. I saw the sign the second time, but it would help if it was bigger! Enterprise personnel are always courteous, professional and highly efficient. They make it super easy to pick up a car and drop it off. I'll always use Enterprise! read more
