Rented a car because he needed to use mine. Did it online and chose this location as place of pick up. Chris - I think that's his name - was great. He was efficient and processed out rental quickly. Friendly and personable. The car was clean and had a full tank of gas. The return process wasn't as great but it was ok. My only concern is that I had a noon time drop off and another customer had a 1pm appointment and he helped the person before me. The car I was returning was supposed to be rented to the person. Also took a long time for the rental process to be done there. We waited about half an hour because I had to make sure which credit card was on file. Other than that it was fine. read more

Tyree and Sierra were very helpful with my insurance rental car from start to finish. Tyree went out of his way to see if they had another vehicle available for the snow (I had the Dodge Charger). The car did better than I thought going from CO Springs to Castle Rock back on Monday that it snowed so I thankfully didn't need to switch it out. He answered my phone calls and Sierra was helpful with the questions I had with returning my rental and if I did need to extend it, etc! Thank you both for being helpful and understanding! P.S. Don't always trust the negative reviews. Sometimes if not most times, those reviews are from customers that are just negative in life all the time and have nothing else to complain about. Phones don't work, no one answers, go straight to voicemail and then it says voicemail is not set up. They call and leave you messages asking you to return their call at the local office and you can't - so frustrating! Unfortunately most insurances book your rental car through them so you're stuck. Also most cars we've gotten from this location smell like they've been smoked in. read more

BEWARE!!!! We arrived to pick up a rental car to find it completely filthy. We did a very brief inspection of the vehicle with the manager. We returned the vehicle a few days later using their drop box. A couple days later, they called to tell us that the vehicle was damaged and that they would file a claim against our insurance. Note, we had not been involved in any traffic incident nor any other activity that would cause damage to the vehicle, we also took pictures of the vehicle when we dropped it off and there was not damage. Moreover, they claim that the damage was only evident after washing the vehicle. If you ever rent a vehicle from this place, which you shouldn't, insist that they clean the vehicle prior to taking possession - otherwise your looking to have damage claim made against you. *It is also noteworthy that this Enterprise location shares an office with a body shop.* read more

Don't go. Needed a last-minute rental because of emergency car repairs and their website said they had cars available so I went in and they didn't have any. The manager told me they would have cars after 4:30pm. I went home and called Enterprise and made a reservation that was confirmed for 4:30pm. Went in with my confirmed reservation for 4:30pm and they had no cars. Called AVIS down the street and they had a car in stock. Went over and they actually had it. Very happy with AVIS. Poor Customer service, I received a call for my Lux car reservation Thu evening 1/3/19 and was informed no Lux car was available at this location. Ok so I asked the rental agent to please check other locations for the type of car I wanted and was told he had no way to do that. Calling BS the next morning I called the Enterprise in Parker CO and the rep found me the car I wanted in Highlands Ranch CO no problem. I received a note from a lady who bumped the car while being parked. She said to call her and she would pay for the little damages. I just received the bill from the Enterprise saying I have to pay a lot of money for all the different damages that I did NOT do. So I won't ever rent from Enterprise again. Stop looking when you're in a pinch- Enterprise Castle Rock will come through for you. Friday night - 5 pm- it's our 11th hour after emergency breakdown. We needed a car to come pick us up that we could rent. Not only did Enterprise come pick us up, but Adam made sure we were safe and taken care of. Adam got us through the rental process fast and easy- complete with a follow up call the next day - asking if we got the help we needed for our vehicle breakdown and if we needed the car longer. "manager" was no help and refused any sort of help even though the sign on their door says they close at 1 PM and not Noon. NEVER RENT FROM THIS COMPANY! I used a rental while my car was in the shop for repairs. I am a cautious driver and made sure the car was in pristine condition when I dropped it off. They called the next day and told me that the bumper was cracked and headlight was falling out. I let them know that was not what it looked like when I dropped it off and asked for pictures. I still haven't seen any pictures, and they charged $500 to my card before they even called to let me know there was damage. The car was filthy, reeked of pot, had a burn hole in driver's seat, stains all over passenger seat and when I reached to adjust the seat my hand same away with a sticky, disgusting substance. Handy location just south of downtown Castle Rock. I used them while my car was in the shop, and they came to the shop to pick me up. Their new tablet-based system is much better than it used to be with the paper forms. The rental was arranged by my insurance company, and it was billed directly to them, so I can't comment on the pricing. I was provided a Nissan Sentra that had about 8,000 miles on it, and it was full of gas (another nice change from Enterprise, where they asked that you "match" the gas level on return to where it was when you picked it up). It would have been nice to have a choice of cars, but the most important thing was that it was covered by the insurance. I was able to leave the car at the repair shop when I was done and they picked it up for me. read more

Dear Prospective Renters: I've rented from this location several times in the past few months--a more statistically significant data sample than a one-time rental experience. So, please let me share my experiences with you as a sister/fellow consumer! One key thing to keep in mind is this: things do change with businesses over time, especially with rental car locations and their managers, so don't let a few problems in the past influence you unduly. Pay attention to the dates of these yelp reviews and what is happening now. That's the only relevant information. Current overview: Ryan, the Castle Rock Enterprise manager since April 2015, has this location running like a Swiss clock. In the past few months, when I have rented a vehicle (both std. cars and SUVs) in pouring rain and thunderstorms, for either a job interview or when a family car was out of service, this has been my experience each time: 1) Always helpful, courteous and always professional staff: this includes the Manager, Ryan, and his staff: Zach, Moritz, and the young but extremely good "pick-up/drop-off" driver, Josh. (I wish all drivers were this good at paying attention on the road!) 2) Prompt when picking me up, courteous when dropping me off 3) Free car upgrades, when available 4) Great rates - especially when I joined the Plus membership 5) Clean, ding-free vehicles, nice fleet 6) Clean, organized, efficient office, fast rental process 7) Great, customer-service oriented attitude by all staff. example: No complaints when staff had to run out in pouring rain and blasting wind to check me in or out. No complaints when the office was full of customers and I needed a ride home. Very happy & courteous to pick me up at home & drop me back after rental was done--no pouting, snarky comments, eye-rolling. or feeling of inconveniencing staff (even when the office was uber-busy!). Thus, no guilt by the customer in asking for pick-up/drop-off service! Very, very convenient! This helps me avoid leaving my car outside at a car rental lot and worrying about hail damage. How helpful/cost-effective is that? 9) Positive, happy staff who recognize me after just one rental, friendly & pleasant. 10) Easy access to the location, near the Castle Rock Library, quick access to I-25 and 105. I've rented from the Castle Rock AVIS many, many more times than Enterprise over the past 3 years, but I'm sorry to say, never again. Some things are out of a car rental office's control, such as weather and demand/availability, people not returning cars in time for the next renter to have it, limited fleet size, variable demand, snow, hail, rain, traffic, etc. All of those things will affect availability. However, one of the owners of the CR AVIS location admits that she hates her job and has clearly lost sight of basic common courtesy, never mind professionalism and good customer service. It's unfortunate, but true. Again, I have had many experiences at that location. I didn't enjoy working with someone who took their anger out on me, the customer. That's why I gave this Enterprise location a try. I'm so glad I did! Ryan and his team at the Castle Rock Enterprise are highly professional, friendly, courteous, helpful, and smart. These gentlemen rock their jobs and literally and figuratively go the extra mile to make their customers satisfied. The company/location rewards customer loyalty and, from what I have observed, staff work their tails off in fair weather & foul to help customers expeditiously. Soaking wet in the rain and freezing in sleet, they still give you great service and help you check the car out with no rushing. Wow! The great customer care at this location is why, after several years of being loyal to AVIS Castle Rock with no reward and many negatives, I have switched to Ryan's team at Enterprise. Summary: I can only vouch for my own (several) experiences with Castle Rock Enterprise, which have been top-notch. You will love how helpful and courteous this business is! We tried to pick up a reservation here that we originally had at a different location and we were told that they used a "completely different system" than the enterprise that we rented through? BEWARE!! Enterprise Rental Car Company: I had an eye-opening experience with Enterprise Rental Car in Castle Rock, Colorado on July 17, 2019. Please read and beware of doing business with this company. It is a bit long, but worth reading as most of you will rent a car at some point in your life. I signed the rental car agreement, declining their insurance because I had my own, and was told by the agent that a full copy would be emailed to me. That emailed copy contained a "terms and conditions" link which I did not see until I checked my email after I had picked up the car. Of course, no one reads these anyway as they are in long legalese type language. I will check for one thing, however, before I ever sign one again; a Mandatory Arbitration Agreement (an arbitration option is okay). I talked to my stepdaughter who is an attorney and there is no way to get out of this mandatory agreement. YOU CANNOT USE AN ATTORNEY. if an attorney sends them a letter it automatically goes to arbitration. You have given up all your rights under the law. So, here is what happened. The Enterprise Rental Car at 185 Wilcox St in Castle Rock, Colorado, keeps the rental cars in an outside parking lot with no cover. I picked it up there and returned it there. I walked around the car with an Enterprise employee and did a visual check of the rental car before I signed the rental agreement. Upon returning the rental car, an employee came out with a reflective card of some kind and showed me 5 or 6 tiny dents on the top and the hood that he referred to as hail damage. I was not in any hailstorm while driving the car, but it is possible it got some damage parked in my driveway on a day when there was a storm. I was not concerned because it was covered under my insurance anyway. What got me concerned was the request for payment and the repair invoice from the Enterprise Rental Car damage recovery unit. It showed the same car (with photo-copied pictures that did not show any clear damage but also had no time stamp) having some 56 dents repaired and not just the few that the agent showed me when I brought the car back. The Hail Map showed that Castle Rock has experienced numerous hailstorms in 2019 to include one on July 21, 2019, just two days after I returned the car (see link) http://www.stormersite.com/hail_reports/castle_rock_colorado/2019/July/21 . Was the car still out in the lot when that storm hit? I have no way of knowing other than "their word." All I know is that I was not shown near that much damage when I returned the car. Rachael Enright, Branch Manager of the Castle Rock office, explained that the cars were always checked by them before they were rented. Based on a Google search, I was astounded to find many questionable claims filed by Enterprise for hail damage to their rental cars. Upon returning the car, I should not have had to rely on a verbal report that the car was checked by employees for hail before I rented it. They should have done the same kind of thorough check in my presence when I picked it up. Guess what, when you sign that Mandatory Arbitration Agreement, they can claim and say anything they want because you have given up your rights to an attorney. Here are some suggestions: * You are likely to be in a hurry when you pick the car up so check the rental car contract online before you choose who to rent the car from. Don't sign any agreement that contains a Mandatory Arbitration Agreement (I checked Hertz and they did not have one in their online agreement). This also applies to buying cars or any other contract that contains that clause. My opinion is it was purposely raised because it was hail season. * Use your cell phone and take lots of pictures when you pick it up and when you bring it back. Do not use a key drop if you can help it. They till us to go home and they will call us when they have a car!!!! We were sick and they had no care!!!! How does this place stay in business?!!! We were rear ended and the insurance company said we would have a car the next morning; they said we would have an suv because that what was damaged. Enterprise did call us the next morning. They told us they didn't have any suv's. Okay, that was fine with us as long as it would fit our family. So they said they would bring us a car after 1pm. A car never showed up. Husband called after 4pm and was told that they don't have any cars. What?!!! The end of the day rolled around, and a car never showed up; not even a phone call!!! Incredible how crappy this place is. My mom went in a week ago to see what she needed to rent a car and the guy told her that she could use her debit card and out of state license and he said yes. When we came to pick up the car at 5:30 today the lady was incredibly rude and told us that we were misinformed and we needed utility bills if my mom didn't have a credit card. We live 15 min away and at that point it was 1745. We asked if there was anything we could do. The lady would not work with us whatsoever or wait an extra 15 min for us. I can't believe they are so anal and unwilling to help customers. Needless to say, we called Avis and they were absolutely wonderful. We got a car a couple hours later. read more

I booked a reservation a month ago, and when I arrived today to pick up my car, there were multiple people waiting. The gentleman before me was being told that the only vehicle was a huge truck, which he didn't want. I asked if they had the full size vehicle I had reserved, and was told there were no vehicles on the lot. It was 15 minutes after close, and I had been waiting for well over 40 minutes. Had I been notified earlier in the day that this was an issue, I could have tried to make other arrangements. The guy then tried to tell me they had tried to reach me, but must have bad contact information. Funny how I got the confirmation reminder just fine today via email, and they always call my cell phone to check on my reservation when I rent. They have lost a long time customer, as I will NEVER go back. Poor business/customer service. read more
